Shopping at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, California... My friend, Jeff V., sent me a photo of LOHO (Love & Hope) and said that this store has my name all over it. HAHA! I drove over, parked for free, and walked all over the air-conditioned mall... unfortunately, LOHO is not inside. I called the store and they directed me to follow the little train (it's $3 for a ride). LOHO is across from Bath & Body Works. I was near P.F. Chang. Uhg! Inside, staff were very cheerful and helpful. The merchandise is SO CUTE! Many characters were there, including Snoopy, My Melody, Hello Kitty, and Miffy! I'll return for sure! read more

It's a toy store located on the ground level of the del amo shopping center. They carry variety of items, like stuffed animals, popheads, figures, and collectibles. It's generally clean and bright inside, and staff members are friendly too, despite their products are very overpriced compared to items found in similar stores. read more

Review #861 2025-033 This spot was formerly Survios VR Arcade that lasted about 2 years before a couple of transitions to LOHO Love & Hope. This characters collection/toy shop sells diverse characters items from movies, games, & manga anime in forms of plushies, bags, accessories, mugs, stationery, etc. Want a character backpack for your child? Done. Need a water bottle or mug? Ding, ding! Super Mario, Gudetama, Doraemon, DC Comics? Check, check, check, & check! This moderate-sized shop is stocked from floor to ceiling, & it can get overwhelming if you're just browsing, but there's usually a couple of staff members walking the aisles to help you find a specific collection or an item category. My kids are into Harry Potter, Pokémon, Hello Kitty, & Funko Pop! collectibles so they know exactly where to go. ;-) Great merch, but a tad on the pricey side, not exactly affordable for the LOs or even adults. Sometimes when the kiddos have birthday invites, we stop here to browse for their friends' fav collectibles, & so far they've been well-received. On one occasion, a friendly staff person was dressed as Waldo. Super cute! Not all team members are customer-oriented... biased to buying potential? I haven't had any issues but have seen it happened... you know the little ones grabbing everything as a "must have" & either walking away with an item or two, or nothing. As I mentioned, the merch isn't cheap & can pricey if you're aiming for the whole collection (like the vast array of Pokémon characters). Customer service is friendly when found. Stumbled upon this shop at the outside walkway at the mall. Definitely caught my eye with the giant Squishmallow displayed. Worth a stop since I believe this shop has a little bit of everything. There's anime (Sailor Moon, shonen series, Chainsaw Man, mostly mainstream stuff), kawaii goods (Sanrio, Chiikawa, etc.), Disney, and other western media. There's blind boxes of Labubu and other consumer goods. Horror franchise goods and Poke'mon, Snoopy, Loungefly backpacks, and much more. Probably a great place to grab a gift for someone who is in the nerdy fandom sphere. I love the giant Totoro archway art thing above their cashiers. Shop is stacked to the top. Been here before. Extremely crowded. It looks aesthetically nice with an abundance of brands, toys, and stationery but it's just a hype and overpriced. You can buy all these online and cut out the middleman. Most of the prices look unreasonable and not worth purchasing. It will scare off the customers. It's just a nice spot for people to drop by and window shop to. Not a practical store to actually purchase from. If you have a spoilt kid or don't know the market, you're pretty much screwed. Do some research and look around elsewhere. The prices are a ripoff. read more

Never heard of this store and didn't know they had multiple locations! We were hanging out at the mall and randomly came across this shop. They have lots of anime figures, toys, funkos, and other things. Great spot for gifts but we were mostly interested in their blind boxes! That's just our thing, love blind boxes (gacha boxes) and they had some we hadn't seen before so we were thrilled! Their pokemon re-ment were a bit pricey but we went for a few of the other stuff. They also have a glass case at the check out and you can buy some of the "open" blind boxes that they randomly have for a price. Honestly, pretty cool deal and we got two of them! Went in to this bright, cute store and started looking around. We were informed that they will be closing soon .A customer came in behind us And was told that they were closing,it was not even close to the closing time. As we were leaving a little girl asked if they had a certain toy , they said yes, but we're closed. Rude ! I guess the store gets enough business to turn people away, especially when they know exactly what they want .I think that whoever owns the business needs to talk to their employees to be a little bit more nicer to their customers and to close at the time posted not before. Extremely rude staff, 3 employees at the counter and when I walked in they all stopped talking, stared at me, and didn't say a word. Was looking to purchase a sonny angel chiikawa hipper and smiski. This store claims to be an authorized seller and the staff told me 16.99 for a hipper with an attitude. This is OVERPRICED do NOT buy from them and please get new staff. read more

The cashier that worked at 5:47pm October 20,2025 with dark brown curly hair at loho del amo if very rude. She refused to help me pick out Sonny Angels from behind the register because she was too busy trying to read a book during her work shift at the cashiers stand. She told me many times that handing me Sonny Angels to choose from was too inconvenient for her because she didn't have a full set. At this point I was the only customer in the store. When I asked her if there was someone else to help me she refused to call another representative to assist me since she did not want to help me. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed in the store. She gave a nasty attitude the entire time I was in the store. Her attitude towards me seemed very discriminatory as if she thought I was going to shop lift. When I called to contact the store manager I was told there is no store manger or person to file grievances with. Based off of previous reviews it seems like this racial discrimination is standard practice for this store. I would advise other toy collectors to avoid this store or take caution when interacting with employees especially if you don't fit the standard of what society deems as the "model minority". No collectors should be met with such hostility when trying to enjoy a hobby. I left the store without purchasing anything because I was so uncomfortable with the aggressive attitude the cashier was giving me. read more

I went here to get a few gifts for my little brother and was overwhelmed by just how much selection they have. Luckily, the manager, Antonio (a tall black guy), helped me pick out the best gift for my little brother! Most of their items don't have prices marked, so of course I went to ask how much an item costs. The prissy black male cashier gives attitude and says they should be $2.99 without checking anything. Amazing store overall except for 2 of 3 employees I've encountered. That's why I gave it 3 stars because literally those 2 cashiers are the reason for removed stars! The first time I went, January 9th,2024, the cashier that day was so nice and helpful! Today, February 9th, 2025, I came back to exchange an item and the cashier RILEY (listed on the receipt) was sooo rude as well as a girl cashier next to him. They literally looked at me blank when I walked up to the register and seemed confused for what reason, I have no idea...I'm literally purchasing items if I'm coming to them at the register. He proceeds to finally ring me up with an attitude, seems to carry himself high...like sir keep doing your job. Disgusting personalities so I fed that kind of attitude right back by speaking the bare minimum if anything at all. Cute stuff, but didn't appreciate one of the workers glaring at me like I was going to steal. Had a magnet left on a pair of pairs I bought at H&M that activated the alarm and she took my entire bag even after I bought over $40 of stuff and showed a receipt...
