Swear, this place gives you the Willy Wonka vibes...the 70s version, not that Johnny Depp movie. My kid, well, he was literally a kid in a candy store! He's 8 years old and his eyes couldn't have gotten any bigger. I mean, when I finally let him loose and said, "Grab a bucket and fill it with all the gummies you want." He didn't know where to start. So of course, I had to help him! lol It is pretty pricey, so be careful what you buy. I have never been in this place before, so I wanted to try different chocolates, rice crispy treat bars, and different flavor gummy bears. Do yourself a favor and don't buy those rice crispy treat bars, they're gross. If you go to the back of the store where the giant gummy bear is, just get the bucket/jar and fill it up! It's worth it if you love candy. I plan on going back one more time before I head home to Hawaii; when I do I'm going straight for those gummy section. I might go back and get some of the chocolates, or spend a little extra on some chocolate truffles...it's just really expensive. I'll update this review with prices when I go back this week. But overall, it was a nice experience.

Oh! A sweet shop for the sweet tooth. This shop has everything you could imagine. The best is the old-timer feeling of walking into a candy store from your childhood. The location in the Annapolis mall is awesome. The manager there is so helpful and really welcoming, The staff is fantastic. I really love the uniforms and hats. My favorite finds are authentic Japanese candies with Japanese writing, the gummy bear selection from heaven and they even have Bit-o-honey!

I fell in love with this store! I had a birthday party for my husband and wanted to do a candy table. I went to this store and they have everything u could want just about. I bought a refillable tray, and now if I have another event I will use that again! Also, never was a big gummy bear fan, but they have all kinds! My fav is white chocolate covered gummy bears! Ohhh sooo good!

Kids who likes eating sweet head over here. The Lolli and Pops is a colorful fun place to spend money on sweets. Kids make sure you ask your parents if you can have the goodies because its their money. Even adults like me can find something sweet and nice at the L&P.

Gummy chicken feet, if you dare!

Decadence and whimsy under one roof! Never thought I'd find this little jewel in Westfield Annapolis. Chocolates, quirky candies, hilariously-named gummies galore. Yes, I even found the not so ordinary "chicken feet" gummies and the oh so patriotic military hero gummies. The Kinder chocolates and Cadbury bars brought back fond childhood memories, while the fist-sized spicy Lucas candy squeezies brought back my rebellious, adolescent years back home in California. What a blast from the past. All in all, we brought home a medley of caramel tiramisu chocolates, hazelnut and almond bites, toffee tiramisu bits, and some yummy watermelon gummy rings. Modest selection, but I'm glad we actually ate dinner before we found this place. The truffles and French macarons caught my eye as we were walking out of the store. Thus, they shall be my next motivation to visit again.

They are very professional, polite and patient whoever we're choosing items for our family's gift. My family loved their products too. We chose fresh sourdough bread, goat cheese with truffles, and another with figs and honey. Sounds yummy. A tasty white wine to go with the bread and cheese is a great accompaniment. Thank you AnneBeth. I appreciate you for having this establish for all. And it's all priced fairly. I'll be back and will tell friends and family about our experience. Marcia M.

East to find with street parking right across the street. The space is small, but they have a decent cross section of wine, beer and harder stuff. If you're thinking booze warehouse you will be disappointed, but if you prefer more human scale, you can find happiness with Annebeth. We needed a six pack for our dinner at a local crab house. We were able to select a mix and match half dozen of their mostly local brews, which our lovely shopkeeper was able to put together with transferable can clips into one unit. There appears to be other things for sale in the way of snacks and light lunches, but we didn't pay much attention to them. We knew we would be stuffed with Maryland Blues, chowder and key lime pie that night and were saving our appetites until then. It was cool to buy our night's beverages in a shop that might have been selling grog and heavy ales for the last 250 years!

Annapolis has got a ton of little clothing shops and odds and ends but THE COTTAGE's selection was top notch. They had bracelets, bags, decor, clothes...you name it. I'm from the south and live in Ohio now, but this shop was reminiscent of the shops in the south. Classy and prices reasonable for the quality they carry, plus the staff were so hospitable. Hopefully I'll be stopping in on a regular basis if I get a Mid class 2031.

To differentiate between the two locations they are calling the downtown Annapolis store The Cottage on Main and the Severna Park store The Cottage in The Park. The inventory between the two stores seems very similar. I can almost always find something to buy at this great local, small business. Here are some of my most recent finds: - Avanti greeting cards often featuring funny animals. They are the best! - Keva leather jewelry. It's light and so comfortable to wear. - Farmhouse Fresh lotions and soaps. Great quality and not overbearing scents. - Hobo purses and wallets. Awesome colors, practical designs and yummy leather. - A variety of thoughtful and sweet baby gifts. Lots of pretty prints. - Boho bandeaus. I really like these for working out in the yard. - Rifle Paper Co. stemless drinking glasses. Seems great for anything. - Although not personally a favorite of mine, popular brands like Vera Bradley, Kendra Scott and Swig. Since this location is in downtown Annapolis parking is a consideratoin. On an early weekday morning you might be able to grab a metered spot our front. The Noah Hillman Parking Garage is nearby too. Or you can always drive 15 minutes to the Severna Park location where parking is plentiful. Overall, The Cottage on Main is a great addition to downtown Annapolis.
