The chorizo pizza with honey is out of this world like, crazy good. It has a little spice kick to it, paired with the sweetness from the honey... amazing combo. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very casual restaurant, fast, fresh wood fired pizza. Perfection.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Timber started as a food truck, and was in a single, tiny location in DC for a while in a neighborhood that people rarely used to go to for food before Timber arrived. The brand has now expanded, regionally in the DC area but even down to the Carolinas. I doubt any of the locations look as snazzy as the Charleston one, but this location in Annapolis is welcome. Annapolis is culturally interesting, but not a great place to go to for food (especially if you don't do seafood). My takeout order was set out for me (thankfully, as it was a busy place). I got their typical pizza with delightful small preserved peppers. It's a vaguely Neapolitan aesthetic with a crust that chars but the plain one comes with Provolone. It's an exciting flavor mix that's distinctive, and the quality has not declined with the brand's expansion. They also offer a small but usually excellent menu of salads and appetizers. My salad was a bit small on portion, but offered an intriguing mix of fruits and popped quinoa (there's usually a hint of South American flair, regardless of the seasonal options). I was also thrilled to discover that ordering a ginger beer to soothe my ailing stomach yielded a Maine Root at a very reasonable price. I wished I could have eaten more, but there will be other locations to try.

Stopped in on a busy day and were seated immediately. We got a pizza and the empanadas, both of which were good. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had out east. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is not huge; they've got some bar seating and tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Oh my goooooosh. If the pizza is this good mobile I can't imagine how good it is in house. I got the Shirley and it was Smokey and spicy and crispy. Having real wood fired pizza is such a better experience. The staff was friendly, and made the pizza so quickly!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Feeling the heat from the pizza oven was such a cool experience![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't imagine doing that every day, but I'm grateful for those that do!

Absolutely the BEST pizza in and around Annapolis! Hands down!!!! We stopped in here because another spot was closed but had been meaning to try it. OMG!!!!!!! Okay I'm need to calm down lol [[HIGHLIGHT]]We walked into this quaint spot and was greeted by The FAMOUS Amir![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Amir took our order and we sat at the bar. Within 10 mins, we were served some of the BEST thin - brick oven pizza we have ever had!!!! I ordered a sweet tea that was perfectly made by Joshua! Both Joshua and Amir were so very friendly and accommodating! You HAVE to come here for this amazing pizza - STAT!!! My new FAVE!!!!

    The Penelope

This place was close by and we were hungry. The menu looked interesting so we gave it a go. We got a Margherita pizza which was good. Could tell the ingredients were fresh. Pie could have spent another minute in the oven, but crust was crispy. Also got The Penelope because it had all of the stuff I like. Mushrooms and bacon. However, the pesto got the better of me. I've had pesto in small amounts before, but the pesto in this pie replaced the red sauce. It was just too much for me. I ate one piece and then my wife and I split the remaining slices of her Margherita pizza and I pulled the mushrooms and bacon off of my Penelope. You pay for the pizza first and then they bring it out to you so I was fine not finishing my pesto pizza. After all, it's a preference. I tried something new, didn't like it, no problem. However, I dropped off our plates and why was left of our pizza at the counter and a few minutes later, the manager came over and said "Did you not like the Penelope?" I said that I was trying something new, it looked good on the menu, but it just wasn't my thing. I had no intention of trying to get a refund it anything. Then 5 minutes later, he came over and gave me my money back the Penelope, and said "Here's your money back for the Penelope....you shouldn't have to pay for something you didn't like" WOW!!!!! That doesn't happen often. While I appreciate the offer, I left the refund as a tip. But that's just incredibly kind. I'd go again and maybe stick to my usual script. Definitely recommend.

The Bentley! Nicely balanced sweet and savory. Without cheese due to food allergy.

"This takes me back to Italy". The first words from my wife after tasting the Timber pizza at lunch this afternoon We've recently relocated to Annapolis from Rockville and while we never had a chance to try the Timber location in DC we are exceptionally pleased that we stopped into the new location here in Annapolis. We ordered two pizzas to share - the Green Goddess and the Bentley. Both were bright, flavorful, and fresh. The two complemented each other perfectly as well. The star of both, as should be expected from great pizza, was the crust. Light, thin, and crisp with just the right amount of chew. The pesto on the Green Goddess was superb and the balance of slightly sweet with slightly savory on the Bentley was delectable. Now, we did order the Bentley without cheese due to a food allergy, but I can only imagine that the complete recipe would elevate the flavors even more. We happened to run into the co-owner while we were there and had a great chat about the restaurant. It's always refreshing to run into friendly entrepreneurs. While we're still exploring the Annapolis restaurant scene, Timber pizza has already earned a spot in the rotation.

Another good meal. I never thought strawberries and pizza would work, but they did. Try the Worthy for something different. My wife gets the LRF salad and it is big. Service was good as always, and we talked beer flavors. It tried a few samples before deciding on what to drink. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was empty and the Yankee game was on two TVs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What more could you ask for on a Tuesday?

I've never had a long wait, either to order or for the food to come out, which is always appreciated. The staff has been consistently friendly, and the space itself is clean and well kept. High-top tables, good lighting, moderate noise level--everything feels in order whenever I'm there. Food-wise, Regional keeps things simple, and that's what I like about it. The Cubano sticks to the script and does it right. You really can't lose with it--good flavor, balanced, and just a solid sandwich overall. The smashburger is another no-frills win. Fresh beef, fresh ingredients, and everything complements each other without trying too hard. It's just done right. The cheesesteak isn't something I'd call a true Philly, but in a pinch it definitely holds you down. The meat is seasoned well, with onions, mushrooms, and cheese coming together for an enjoyable sandwich. I appreciate that Regional doesn't overcomplicate things. My only real critique was the roasted potato salad. I paid $3 for a cup, and while it tasted good, there was lettuce stuffed at the bottom to make it look fuller than it was. That rubbed me the wrong way, so I wouldn't order it again. Portion sizes overall are fair, prices feel reasonable, and I like that there's something for everyone on the menu. I've already been back multiple times and will continue to return. It's a good spot when you want to get away from all the fast-food options in the area.

But they had been talking about Adam's Ribs for a long time so it was nice to find out that their recommendation was absolutely true. Adam's Ribs is not fancy. You can understand absolutely every word that is on the menu. There is no arrogant snot-nosed hostess looking down her plastic surgery improved nose at you when you show up to eat without reservations. But here is what Adam's Ribs does have - absolutely real, home cooked food that is delicious, servings that are big enough to make you feel sick if you eat the whole thing and great service with a smile from a waiter who has clearly tried everything on the menu. Bottom line? I love this place and would go back there tonight if it was not 1 hour away from me. We started out with the full loaf of onion straws. OMG wonderful! The onions were so sweet, the breading was perfectly crispy and not oily at all. For an onion lover, there is nothing better than this appetizer. It is served with a Daniel Boone-sized knife to cut and, believe me, you will need it! This appetizer makes a full meal if you are alone. My main course was the 8 ounce sirloin, medium rare. I am telling you that my steak was fork tender and really flavorful. Perfectly done! I was so full that I could only eat half of the mashed potatoes & gravy (which are definitely worth the calories) and none of the spinach (which was so garlicky that many vampires died during its preparation). Perfect meal! The other main courses were the chicken breast, the full rack of baby back ribs and something called "if pigs could fly" platter - basically baby back ribs next to a mess of beautiful chicken wings. I love that! Everyone was so happy with the meal that we were waving the white flag. No need for dessert because we were all so damn full. The server was Charlie. He is an asset to Adam's Ribs. Friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients and how everything is cooked. He worked his butt off to deliver great service fast and that he did, in spades. This guy truly must love what he is doing because he is so good at his job. Bravo to Charlie! Okay, so I am reviewing the place and I have to find something negative so say. The dining room is dated, a bit sparse and there is a smell that I don't like. Mostly, I think the smell is just old restaurant. But you get used to it and, once you do, you realize that Adam's Ribs is one of the few restaurants left that serves good quality, home cooked meals with regular old fashioned American ingredients! No pretense, no airs, just great solid food that fills you up every time! I would never let some little bitty old smell get in my way for one of the great meals that I will enjoy there in the future.
