Also, the bartender had to pull out the printed recipes in order to make any of the martinis they had - which were not good, trust me! She made my friend her martini, but accidentally used grenadine instead of pineapple juice? WTF?? They don't have a kitchen, but they did have a crockpot of homemade meatballs, for their bingo meatball special - $5.00 gets you a meatball sandwich, chips, and a cookie. We finished our not well made drinks and decided to go somewhere else. If you are looking to play slot machines, I guess I'd tell you to check this place out. But really, every single restaurant and bar you go to in the SW burbs has them, so this place is really nothing special.

During our Easter brunch visit, we noticed a significant drop in the standard we had come to expect. The management's attempt to refute our observations on Google reviews prompted me to share my experience here. The Easter Bunny was noticeably absent, and the tiny baby shrimp served appeared to be frozen and thawed, lacking any flavor. The management's response that they compensate for this with other offerings does not address the issue of the shrimp's quality. Our server was often absent during our meal, despite the fact that the restaurant was not particularly busy. In the past, there used to be long lines of people waiting to be seated, but now the place is almost deserted. The management's explanation that customers disliked the long waits does not account for the lack of reservations. I kindly suggest that it would be more beneficial to focus on improving the quality of the buffet and service rather than making excuses. I hope that the management will take these concerns into consideration and work towards restoring the establishment's reputation. EDITED. If you want a banquet for your next function, would I recommend? Probably yes, but make sure all the kinks are fixed first as this may get you upset. There was supposed to be three people serving us but only two servers showed up for 90 people. There was a half hour wait between the salad and the main course. The food was dry and cold. We ordered Roast pork w/gravy. No gravy was served with the dry and over cooked pork. They ran out of buns. The person in charge was not present when this occurred. She left way before we were served and said she had taken some food home with her and it was fine. Would have been nice to have her there when this occurred. We have 127 members in our fishing club with many veterans. The food was so unacceptable that we booked the next Christmas Party at another facility at $1,000 more than the VFW. What a shame.
