    Cabin #12
    Kailee P.

Pools: This "hot springs" looks to be a glorified pool that needs some revamping, badly. It was very dingy and made me feel dirty. Office: The office needs some serious work, it is a confusing space, too many signs to read in one moment that are really unnecessary, but the staff is kind. Cabins: I cannot believe I paid for the cabin we received. It was advertised as a camping cabin, basic, no bathroom/water - we were fine with this. It was also advertised with a small seating area and a full sized bed - we received a cabin with no seating, an awkward small space that was not useable, and an awful futon that actually flipped up and off the ground when we tried to lay down to test it out. When we asked for an upgrade, we were told the last cabin was taken by another group of guests that needed an upgrade... seems we weren't the only ones that were disappointed. We weren't even offered an equal cabin with a better bed, and the staff agreed the futon wasn't great. And we were told "the cabins are rustic", but I wouldn't really call a crappy futon rustic. And don't expect a refund without a fight - we were advised to email their info email that will be forwarded to a "Dave" who will then decide - after reading my email about "rules" there is nothing about no refunds unless you're evicted. I'll be fighting this one until I receive every penny back. We turned our keys in shortly after checking in and left to drive 4 hours back to our own bed because we couldn't fathom sleeping here overnight, let alone the weekend that we booked. Public Bathrooms: Disgusting spaces, the showers are yellowing and look so so dirty. I would NEVER step foot in one barefoot, nor would I feel clean after using one. Staff: Super kind. The only reason I'm leaving 1 star. They deserve better & you can tell. Food: We ordered the mini tacos from the bar & grille and we were served what seemed to be microwaveable tacos from Walmart. Not worth the $12. Drinks: Purchased a peach daiquiri, was delicious. Good variety.

#bedbugs Lodge at Lolo Hot Springs Update: they called to refund the stay. They have apparently fumigated. I loathe leaving bad reviews; this is my first. But I called several times and the last message I left I told them I wanted a callback or I would take to the internet. Only well after the reviews were posted did they call. I'd never sue over this; our society is too litigious as it is. I just wanted an apology and them to fix it.

We go for the hot water. Lewis and Clark and Nez Perce liked it so what the heck. The hotel is marginal. And the restaurant is rural/non gourmet for sure. The camping is basic but in a great place Go for the soak

LoLo Hot Springs when I was a kid. Great memories there and it has me so happy this resort is still cared for yet sorta the same.

Not fun drying off on a small hand towel. There were fingerprints all over the TV and the next morning the coffee pot had not been cleaned out..hmmm makes you wonder if they cleaned the room at all. I got a call from a lady who was not even from that part of lolo apparently took almost a week to finally get to the manager Christina I had to call her she didn't call me. When I told her what happened all she said was well that's unfortunate. Unfortunate? Yeah I would say so she said what would u like me to do I said maybe some sort of credit back to the card or something. She said nope the only thing I will do it a 20 percent credit fornyour next stay.. she was not professional at all ..it's unfortunate isn't it

Chad, the owner, could not have been more helpful without intruding in any way during our stay. The lake is stocked, which made for many hours of delight as our grandchildren's first fishing experience. The renovated cabins are surprisingly chic and super comfy. It was great to have the kitchenette, though local restaurants are within a quick drive. The location is great: right off the main highway but quiet and really picturesque with the pretty little lake, (really a pond,) filled with ducks and geese and their chicks--and where the owner provides kayaks and canoes for your use. A covered picnic-barbecue area is perfect for reunions or just a casual cookout. We loved this property and will return ASAP!

The kitchen is stocked with pans, dishes, utensils, and even salt, pepper, and olive oil for cooking. There are propane grills on the porch of each cabin. We stayed for my brother's wedding and things did not go smoothly. I don't really know what happened but when talking with one of the owners (the wife) and apologizing for whatever went wrong she "got in my face" and asked how I liked it. For the record, I did not like it, especially with her face less than 5 inches from mine as she asjefThis was after the other owner (the husband) invited an angry and intoxicated guest to "go ahead and hit me." The guest was not acting appropriately but I don't believe the owner's reaction was appropriate either. Two wrongs don't make a right. We were in our cabin cleaning up for our 10 AM checkout so I don't know how the drama started. They said that we didn't know the back story of working with the couple (my brother and his new wife). They are right. I don't know. I do know they paid a lot of money to rent the entire venue for the weekend. I'm not sure what went wrong. Also, our cabin has a loft where my oldest son slept. The floor is SUPER creaky. My wife and I joked that it sounds like a balloon animal factory. There is no air conditioning in cabin 5 and it got very hot by evening. We slept with the windows open and the cabin was very cold in the middle of the night. It stayed cool during the morning and early afternoon but got very uncomfortable as the evening progressed. Before I was aware of any issues, the owners were helpful in directing us where to go in town for groceries and an oil change.

We arrived with a…read moregroup in total of 31 for a family reunion of sorts, and were all wowed by the service and special touches. Even from the pickup, I knew this experience would be special. I had a great conversation with Nora as she and some colleagues picked us up from Missoula and drove us to the Ranch. She talked about what makes this ranch so special and all the things she enjoys doing there. After a prior day of travel, it was also very nice to stretch out in the large vehicles provided (with water and snacks) and enjoy the amazing drive. We also had a side stop in Philipsburg where my two children really enjoyed the candy store! Once we made it to the Ranch, the wow's just kept coming. After dropping our bags, we had some of the best farm to table food I've ever had! The chefs take great pride in the food they are putting on the table the ingredients they select from. The service in the main dining hall (The Buckle Barn) is also top notch! Big shout outs to Storm and Claire! Storm took the time to get to know my kids and their VERY PICKY eating habits and had their specialty meals waiting for them for when we sat down to eat. Doing this simple task of getting a food for a child (that's not even on a kid's menu) really but my anxious mind at ease over the fear of "what will they eat this trip???". Side note: There was also a picnic lunch one day and without asking, Storm also had those sandwiches already packed in our lunch bag. Having two young children on a trip, it's often seen as parenting in a different location, not the case here. The Ranch provided camp for my two children with some of their younger cousin's every day, both morning and the afternoon so they could go and enjoy the Ranch at their pace. They got to fish, took UTV rides, made tie-dye t-shirts, mined for sapphires, and many arts and crafts, all in the beautiful surroundings of nature. This wonderful accommodation allowed my husband and I to have an actual vacation while away. We flyfished, went to the multiple gun ranges, sat by the creek, rode horses (request the guide Sierra, she's great!), did archery and ropes courses, and got to enjoy the time together. The accomidations were very lovely. Our large group took over 4 of the 5 cabins and each had their own charm. We watched the 4th of July fireworks from the comfort of the porch wrapped up in the cozy robe provided by the Ranch. Each night after a long day of activities and wonderful food either in the Buckle Barn or out by the Pebble Pond, you would come back to your bed turned down with a wonderful new product waiting for you provided by the Spa. I can't say enough good things about the time we had at the Ranch at Rock Creek and can only wish to one day return to the flowing waters of it's cool creek, and the stary sky's that light the way.

We flew into Missoula and spent one night at a downtown hotel before making our way to the ranch. From the moment the RC driver met us in the hotel lobby to the time we were dropped off at the airport we were impressed. The experiences at RC was totally awesome. Each time we would head out with our private guide we embarked on an unforgettable journey. We started off as a family doing the UTV tour of the ranch. Absolutely beautiful and serene time! One of my favorite experiences was the respite by the creeks edge. The staff had made a fire for us, placed some hammocks out, some games and books on our picnic bench. This was of course accompanied by a great bottle of wine and a charcuterie board! Our kids did some fly fishing while mom and I relaxed that afternoon. All of the facilities are top-notch and there is a ton of detail at every turn on this property. Some of our favorite shooting experiences were the rifle range and revolver shooting course with our guides Karson & Robert. The food at RC is an experience in itself and as good as you can imagine. We were lucky enough to meet the new chef Zach and he is truly passionate about his work! His first meal at the ranch was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was absolutely incredible & ultra tasty! The entire staff was so kind and attentive to us which we truly appreciated. Many thanks to Candace to making sure everything was perfect for us! Emily our breakfast server was so kind and thoughtful in the way she greeted & served us each morning! Brett was our dinner server most nights and he was always a joy to be around. He was also quite fast on the 5k Thanksgiving day but not quite as fast as Reed! Overall we had a some incredible expierences and plan to return to RC in the near future!
