She will give you false hope on information regarding your vehicle. I had to call her for information on the status of my vehicle. She only reached out to me once, to tell me it will be a longer wait. My vehicle has been at the dealership for the past eleven days due to a backorder part. The part arrived on a Thursday, installed on a Friday, was told by Kris, when she finally called, and said it wouldn't be ready till Monday because it needed a test drive. The service dept is open on Saturday! Why the test drive wasn't preformed on Friday is a mystery to me! Make sure you get all the information and if you experience the same issues like me, document everything and file a national complaint. This should bring to their attention their poor customer service skills.

They seem to prey on women with limited automotive knowledge, pushing poorly maintained, unreliable cars at premium prices, banking on the assumption we won't know better. Carmax never disclosed the fact that the engine had been repaired twice but sold me a car at full price. Carmax pulled up a car fax report stating no repairs and no accidents which is a big fat lie! I purchased a vehicle from Carmax believing their sales pitch that it was "in perfect condition." Within four months the check engine light came on. The car began breaking down. The car had a major engine recall that clearly weren't addressed prior to sale. A trusted mechanic confirmed these problems should've been DISCLOSED and FIXED before the car ever hit the lot. When I returned to discuss the issue, I was met with condescension and dismissive remarks. They refused to take responsibility or assist with repairs, leaving me stranded with a lemon. It's clear they're prioritizing profit over integrity, targeting customers they assume won't and can't push back. I urge women and others to stay away from Carmax. Find a dealership that values honesty and stands behind their vehicles. I wouldn't wish this financial and emotional stress on anyone. It's been a whole year that I have been fighting with a car that the dealership knew was a lemon. They clearly capitalized off of me and now I'm stuck with paying for a problem that I can't afford. I decided to try one last time and found Juan at Dent Dogs. They responded quickly, and Juan was professional, honest, hardworking, and clearly very experienced. After everything the other shops had told me, I honestly did not think the dent could be repaired, but the result came out way better than I expected. Juan saved me from spending over $1,300 on bodywork and charged a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him and will definitely come back if I ever need PDR work again.

After their diagnostic, I approved $700 in repairs for a purge valve and vapor canister. I was asked to pick it up at 3:00 PM, but when I arrived, the truck wasn't ready and clearly wasn't running right. I had to come back the next day, and it has been a disaster ever since. The truck is now undriveable. I nearly got into a serious accident trying to merge into traffic because the vehicle just wouldn't accelerate. I am currently having it towed to another shop to figure out what they did. To make matters worse, they tried to claim it might be the oil pump--an issue that wouldn't even cause these symptoms and was already replaced recently. Avoid this shop. I paid $700 to have a functional vehicle turned into a safety hazard. Review will be deleted with a refund.

When I picked up the car I noticed a banging sound- which persisted for 24 hours and worsened. Turns out the car had loose engine mounts which caused the engine to sway and cut the A/C line. I do not think the technicians drove the car after the repair. I believe they had a responsibility to report the noise to me. I also believe they had a responsibility to advise me that the car was not road safe due to the loose engine mounts. I exchanged e mails with the manager Derek and he disagreed- he thought the car as road safe. I would not recommend Christian Brothers automotive.

I was looking for a Santa Fe (2021-23) and the popped up on Facebook. I was shocked by the price to milage ratio on this vehicle ($20.5K:31K mi). But I figured I would go and look. Once I got there I kinda lucked out on the fact that it was a fourth of July celebration. There were hot dogs, snacks and all kinds of treats.  Pretty cool. The receptionist greeted me and took my info (for a test drive), Shortly after I was greeted by Anthony Pantoja. We sat down and he found the vehicle that I was looking at online and got the keys for my test drive. Anthony was very honest and told me there was a crack in the windshield and sunroof that was scheduled to be repaired. I drove the Santa Fe and I kept calm, but I was loving it!! Yeah, I wanted this!!! After the drive I sat with Anthony and went over the Carfax. Full disclosure showed that the vehicle had a collision on the front driver's side and yes, the airbag was deployed.  Anthony was honest about this and said it was repaired and certified. This explains the low mileage.  Next came the financing and rates.  I really took a deep breath on this but kinda surprisingly... Pablo the Sales manager and Brandi in finance worked out a great deal. So, I signed and noted the windshield and sunroof. I left the vehicle there for repairs. Sounds good? Well, here is where it got sticky (NOT due to AutoBoutique). Houston was hit by Hurricane Beryl. This caused a massive shutdown all over and flooding.  This also caused a delay in my windshield repair. However, Brandi, Pablo, Anthony and now Juan...kept on it to get it done. Eventually I went to follow up in person and Juan in service said that I can take the vehicle home and they would come to me (the windshield repair is 3rd party).  Ok, I did. Annnnnd more rain. Since they could not repair it in the rain (I only have covered parking) it had to be brought to them. It was and voila!! Next, I took it to the Hyundai dealership to have it inspected. The vehicle passed easily. The final test was a road trip from Houston to Dallas (800mi round trip). Again, passed with flying colors with no issues.
