I really enjoy this place and their selection, but the prices can sometimes be a bit high. However, the place always seems clean and put together. This is probably one of most serene grocery store chain I've ever been to. The atmosphere is pleasant, the store is clean, and they also have a lot of options from prepared foods, to nice steaks (see previous review) to amazing desserts. It can get pricey and some of the products are available at other, cheaper stores, so know your prices and only shop for the the things here you can't find anywhere else. I wish I had one of these closer to my house, but shopping here for me requires coordinating a Yeti and a rushing home, unless I'm not buying something cold or frozen. read more

I hate to cook and absolutely hate to grocery shop so when I go grocery shopping, I'm always looking for an elevated experience to make it bearable. I drove by and decided to give it a go. Instead of the typical eye roll my eyes lit up with delight when stepping into The Fresh Market . So cozy and inviting. So many options. So clean and organized and upscale. The items in the bakery are super delicious. I also tried the guacamole that I think they make in house. It was one of the best I've ever had - so so yummy!! I could get lost in The Fresh Market for hours, discovering new specialty food items and unique things I'd like to try. This is definitely a great spot for fresh produce, juices, gourmet cheeses, and I especially love their deli counter with premade meals & side dishes you can order by the pound. When I need something quick for lunch or dinner, I can always find something tasty. I also love their baked goods and the sweets section is dangerous! I will say that the prices are significantly higher compared to most grocery stores, so I wouldn't recommend doing all of your regular shopping here, but it's a fun visit for some more unique & seasonal items. Being the flower lover that I am, I've never been too impressed by their fresh flower selection. The varieties they offer are priced way too high for your typical filler flowers/greenery. Every time I go, it looks like the flowers are already wilting and on their way out. Maybe I'm just catching them at a bad time, but I always take a peek at what's available. All in all a good supermarket that offers a bit more than the usual food offerings of other supermarkets. On this particular trip, they had a buy one, get one free deal with ground sirloin, so I opted to take advantage of that particular deal. I also picked up some shrimp and a few interesting looking condiments that I had not seen anywhere else. We are seeing a growing popularity in these specialty markets and I feel that is a good thing. It is easy to get bored of the same old same old and markets like this might open up some new ideas or a fresh approach an evening's dinner. A perfect example is that I am toying with a recipe with the shrimp and some of the calabrian peppers that I had purchased. I would recommend a visit to this location. I bough Curry Chicken Salad at the deli and it was TERRIBLE! The chicken was HARD and DRY, DRY, DRY - it was like eating wood chips. Not edible! Also, they sell demi-baquettes, but FORCE you to buy 2 of them because they sell only packs of 2 and refuse to sell one! The whole purpose of a demi-baguette, which stands for a half-baguette, is to be able to buy a half length. What a joke. read more

I've been shopping at fresh market for about two decades now. I have to say, lately I prefer whole foods but fresh market is much closer to me and still one of my favorites. They have a great selection of high quality ice creams which I appreciate. Plus they have a great selection of nuts and candies that you can portion yourself. The cheese selection is also great. It's always so clean and I enjoy the relaxing classical music they play. I try to avoid the afternoons on weekends because the parking lot gets very full but going early is pretty chill. read more

Don't fight for the parking spaces as it's not worth it. Just 30 more steps and your car is much safer on the street. I love their coffee corner it's just what I need to get me wired enough to continue shopping. They have a good selection of fresh roasted coffee beans, teas, and the sweet sundries for all my kiddos munchies. The store is definitely on my top places to source quality ingredients, plus friendly staff, and good selection foods no one else will have, and they have a decent wine selection for that part of town. read more

I hate having to leave bad review on businesses especially if I go to the place often and loves the company but today I just had to after the encounter with one of the staff. I walked in the store to picked up some prepped meal with drinks and I usually ordered 15-20 meals each week but been liking this one specific food so I went to just ask the lady if they have more of it in the back and she started yelling "whatever is there is all we have left, I have so many things to do" then rolled her eyes so I went back to the meal selection and looked at the options but then I went back to ask a different person a different question because I did not like other ladys tone she then interrupted my conversation with the other guy and started yelling "I already told you, whatever is out there is all we have, I have this massive christmas orders and you keep asking questions whatever is there is all we got there is nothing in the back" at this point a few shoppers were looking at us because she was literally yelling over nothing. This is where I started talking back because I've never been screamed at in the grocery store. If she was having a hard time because it is Christmas I get that but that's not how you should respond to a customer regular or not. The lady's name is Carrie and I would definitely avoid her.RUDE SERVICE. She wasn't only rude to customers but to co-workers and that says a lot about her personality. This is my favorite specialty market. They sell prime meat for an amazing price and there's always a butcher working. The butcher Lou reminds me of when I was a child and my mother would send me to our neighbor market. The prepared foods are truly delicious and fresh I love the woman Clair that works in that area . The produce is the best in town they have apples as big as cantaloupes and have a ton of precut items that our so convenient. This location is in near the Mills/50 District of downtown Orlando. The store is clean and the employees are very friendly and seem to enjoy their job. During my most recent visit, there were free samples of wine and Italian fare, such as bruschetta and Italian meats and cheeses. Fresh Market has an impressive bakery section as well as a delicious variety of pre-made deli options, such as sandwiches, salads, pot stickers, quiche. I usually go to Fresh Market for these scrumptious options and I have yet to be disappointed. As far as traditional grocery shopping goes, I leave that to the other grocery chains as, again, Fresh Market is a little pricey and they focus on organic, healthier options, they don't have some items that other grocery store chains carry. But if you're looking for something a little unique with good quality and sans harmful chemicals, this is the place for you. read more

The Fresh Market is a great grocer that not only stocks high-quality products but also has quite a lot of prepared food options (which happens to be my favorite part). You can get everything from prepared subs to sushi to rotisserie chicken with a variety of sides. Their cheese department is top-notch and I'm a fan of their packaged baked brie. They have a nice wine selection as well. So, everything you need to put together a great dinner, whether you want to grab-and-go or prepare yourself. You will likely spend more here than you would at some other local grocers. But, you get what you pay for. The quality is there. This particular TFM is a good location for those in the Winter Park/Mills 50 area. Clean with ample parking. The Fresh Market really lives up to its name. The produce, the meats, the bakery, the prepared foods - all fantastic. Bright vibrant colors, a clean and organized store - this is high quality grocery shopping. Prices, yes, they will be higher here just like any other organic/natural/specialty store, but it's worth the quality. The chain has a reputation for good service and if something isn't up to your standards they'll usually make it right, no questions asked. The store layout is pretty good, a little clustered in some areas, but not too bad as long as people behave in a civil manner. The staff that I interacted with on opening day were all very friendly and attentive. If they follow in the footsteps of their other locations, be sure to join their e-mail list and watch for weekly sales, Two-For-Tuesdays, Saturday wine specials, and lots of events with free samples, new product launches, and cooking demos. These markets really get into their community and I'm so happy to have one to get rooted in Winter Park! Horrible experience at this location on a couple of occasions. But this time I have to do a review. On 5/16 Bistro Meal as on Thursday it is 6.99 and usually 9.99. Comes with a main dish and 2 sides. I got the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Well the meatloaf had a strange piece of what looked like wood inside. I almost choked on it. I took this piece of wood and sat it aside so i could show the manager at Fresh Market. I didnt continue eating the meal I took a pic and threw it out. I went to talk to the manager today only to find no manager there only this rude condescending lady named DAVA, said she was acting as a manger. When I tell her what happed she asks me did I bring the meatloaf with me. I said no it was over a week ago. She goes away for like 10 mins and comes back and gives me this lame option that she will refund it but only for the portion of the meal for the meatloaf, i was like you should just refund the meal she was like oh, no i can't do that. Looks like to me they would be so embarrased by what happed they would have just appoligized and refunded the 6.99, but she was trying to give me 3.99. I told here no thank you just keep your 3.99. So sad to see this level of customer service here as i shop here a lot . I will never shop here again and will tell everyone i know about this. I am also gonna file a report with BBB. 4 Stars for a good selection of high quality meats, seafood, and vegetables, as well as specialty food, that's not cheap, but that's expected. I appreciate the selection of specialty nuts, dried fruits, yogurts, and healthy brands at The Fresh Market. The food certainly isn't cheap, but it's a great place to get your specialty food, while saving the normal stuff for Publix. Though you can spend quite a bit here, they have a good special with their rotisserie chicken and sides. This usually feeds two people at least, and the quality is great! I'd recommend the orzo salad side. Logistically, this location has plenty of parking that it shares with other shops in Mills Park. It's right off of a bike path, too, so it's an easy stop before a picnic at Menello! It also has some outdoor seating. Overall, a good high end grocery store. It won't have everything you'd want, it may take a toll on your wallet, but you will eat well! read more

The "fresh" pastries offered in the bakery are on par with their analogues at seven eleven. I got a chocolate croissant that was mushy, dry, and anything but flakey. Another person in my party tried the cinnamon role, which was basically stale bread with cinnamon lazily poured on top. Just Awful. For reference, I'm a huge fan of grocery store bakeries, it's, in my opinion, the most important part of a grocery store. Publix, Kroger, HEB, and even Winn Dixie offer decent bakery options that rarely disappoint. Since Fresh Market is a "rich people" grocery store, I was expecting to razzled and dazzled, so I was imaginably shocked at the quality of what we received. read more

Fresh Market always has delicious and high quality organic produce and meats. I'm convinced they get the top pick in the shipment to central FL. As such, the prices reflect the quality (and prime location). This is a good place to go with a list and/or a strategy. 1. Find out what their deals are for the week and make a meal of it! For instance, this weekend they have cut-to-order premium choice whole beef tenderloin. Premium choice means that the quality is among the top 10% in the country. They are selling this at $10 per lb which is a great price considering the quality of the meat. 2. Stop by the salad bar or pre-made section for your lunch that day 3. Scoop up some olives form the olive bar to put out before dinner. They have a good wine section and cheeses for your cheese plate. 4. Did you just find out you're allergic to gluten, dairy, sugar, soy and corn? Or just looking for goods with few items/preservatives and emphasis on whole foods? Do not fret! This place has lots of packaged goods that help you avoid said ingredients. I like the fact that there is no paper receipt. I dig this place, it's conveniently located and the staff is fantastic. They have a great selection for lunch and just about everything you need for dinner. The Fresh Market is my go to for spices as well, they have a small end cap on one of their isle's that has "zip lock baggies" of spices for those times you don't need an entire jar of mustard seeds or what ever. Check out their Tuesday chicken special as well! Skinless/boneless chicken breasts are $2.00 a pound, can't beat it! They also have a great selection of olives at a self serve olive bar. I am not a fan but my SO has had me grab a container several times when he knows I am going, they have things like Bleu Cheese stuffed olives, roasted garlic stuffed, hot peppers etc that would do wonderfully on a homemade charcuterie board. read more

I like Fresh Market, but this one misses the mark. The store is clean, the produce selection is well stocked, and the people are nice, but I don't love it here. The first thing that's different from this Fresh Market than others that I used to go to is the absence of the wing bar. The store I used to go had a self serve wing bar with 8 different flavors of wings, and they kept bringing them out as needed. Personally I like selecting my wings and mixing up the flavors. At this location the wings are behind the counter (I'm sure this is more sanitary ) and they don't have all of the sauces. If you ask for a sauce they will mix it for you but it's not the same. I also don't like the plastic bag for hot wings. I prefer the cardboard box. Ive also noticed if you arrive after 6 or 7 PM the selection of prepared foods is pretty limited. However, they will offer to make more if you want to wait. They also seem to rotate some of my favorites which the other fresh markets always had. One of these being the pesto bow tie pasta. The bakery selection is excellent. They carry the brownie pillow cookies which are probably my favorite. However, sometimes it's slim pickings. Prices are pretty much what you expect. The prepared foods are priced pretty reasonably, but it's expensive for your general grocery needs. I've walked out of here a few times empty handed due to them running out of food. This has never really happened at other locations. I still like it here, but think they need to update the selection of prepared foods and possibly add a cashier or two during busy times. read more
