Lots of security cameras inside Washer sizes go up to six-loaders ($7 plus .5 extra for extra rinse/wash upgrades), quad loaders ($6), and so on. Dryers are 50c per ten minutes so a load normally takes about 30 minutes to dry They close at 10pm but don't make you leave immediately if your dryer is still wrapping up. Last load is at 9pm They also have fluff and fold services if you don't want to do the laundry yourself and just wanna drop it off An asset to this community!

(Note that restrooms are available when staff are present - just ask) The only downside is that there aren't a whole lot of carts available but this could be remedied if customers wouldn't "claim" them by throwing a towel or something in them while they sit idle. Debra kept me informed of all the steps as we took them because I've never done anything like this before. Debra reached out and I heard back immediately and then met my mom within days of that contact. It's been such a wonderful feeling to know I look like someone, something an adoptee fully understands. I now have a connection to history. I have known ancestry. It's odd to say but knowing about them has made such a difference in knowing about me. My father's identity is still a mystery but that's okay at this time. I have a mother who wants a relationship with me and we share so much in common it's like finding a new best friend. We just shared my birthday together 53 years later. I learned that she never got to see me at birth. Such a truly incredible gift! And to think I almost let fear get in the way. If you are on the fence about this, just do it! You've had a lifetime of not knowing, not connecting. Isn't it time to know? Connect yourself to history. It's like discovering a part of yourself that you never knew was missing. Like finding another half of a story you already thought you'd read. It's a very profound feeling. I highly recommend it!

Many retail and restaurant places would take the hit, deflect, or find other ways to avoid ownership of the situation. I myself spent 26 years in restaurants, so I am very sensitive to how a business like this handles rough interactions. I think it is the mark of a responsible and accountable business manager when they choose how they're going to respond, not to easy situations, but to difficult ones. To the credit of the owners of King Pelican, they rose to the occasion, accepted their part in it, and did everything they could to make it right. For what it's worth to me, nothing instills confidence better to me than seeing when a restaurant or a retail space shows how committed they are to making sure that their customers are whole after a difficult interaction. King Pelican executed a perfect recovery and deserve my complete confidence. Easy 5 stars.
