But now most of the washers are broken and the little old lady that works here is Very rude only friendly to the Spanish speaking customers. Misleading laundromat. First off, the refund card I got last time I was here didn't show the refund - I knew at the time the lady messed with it forever that something was wrong with it but it was so much trouble I gave in to the lady ... she said find her if it didn't work...apparently she doesn't work here any more .... ....next, the washer says 3.75 on it which is already expensive. After dropping all those quarter in - guess what? They want .75 more for heavy load and hot water etc. I negotiate the dang machine down to small load, hot water only to find out the water is lukewarm at best. What is their version of cold I wonder? A nice icy chilled glass of water to pour on your laundry? ... I nervously used their previously sketchy machine to reload my card realizing they now had me trapped again (just as I was trying to free myself of them and their leftover cash on cards) ! Been here multiple times. Morning and afternoon staff is helpful. Place is clean. All the machines accept laundry card payment, no quarters. When you load card with a $10 bill or $20 bill you get an extra dollar load woohoo!! TV's keep you up to date on current events or the latest UFC fight. On my most recent visit machines 53, 54, and 55 didn't dispense softener. Brought it to staffs attention who proceeded to say I put in softener too late. Replied no, I know how to use these machines. Then was told machines have been acting up, implying facility is aware of the malfunction. Signs should be posted if that's the case. Staff offered to pay for another wash. I declined, since my clothes were already drying. I had a busy day ahead and who wants to spend an entire morning at the laundromat?!? I did get a free dry, though. To be fair, laundromat is pleasant, well maintained and clean. Just keep an eye on the machine you're using to make sure it's dispensing properly. 5 star facility but earned 3 stars due to machine malfunction. read more

Good lord this place is expensive! $5.50 for a "30 lb" front load washer? 50 cents for 15 minutes of drying? Big yikes. It's 30 cents for 10 minutes at another coinless laundry mat. The top loader machines here are coin-only and despite having a much bigger drum than the 30lb washer are only $3.25. So sort of coinless, kinda not. You'll pay extra for the pleasure of not carrying coins around. Not really sure what gives with the prices, it's definitely not machine maintenance or amenities. 7 broken washers and 1 broken dryer today. I came because I wanted to get all sheets, comforters, etc. done in one go but I'll find somewhere else in the future. FYI: same card as another coinless laundry I've been to, so maybe you can load one card and use it everywhere. read more

today was my first time at this laundry mat. very clean & quite. Other than this I experienced very bad customer service with the manager. A washer that only washed cold was on (cold/press). It didn't wash so I let the staff know. She looked afraid to call the manager. I wanted to speak with the manager as well. When I say I got yelled at & accused of lying. This is my go-to place to do laundry and I like it cause it's really clean and the attendant is always around to help but lately more than half of the machines are out of service. They also don't have that many dryers and a bunch of dryers are also out of service. Harbor Laundry I write today to warn you about the horrible customer service at Harbor Laundry and encourage you to take your business elsewhere. Their employee Angie actually threatened to call the police on me for an error caused by their equipment! Read below for the details. I ordinarily would not bother doing a review, but Harbor Laundry has actually taken steps to make their customer service worse instead of better! The laundromat used to be a 5-star facility and management was very responsive to customer needs as you can see in the early reviews. This is no longer the case! The laundromat uses laundry cards only on large machines, Yesterday, I attempted to load $20 onto my laundry card. The machine on the left accepted my $20 bill but did not load $20 onto my card. I walked away to get assistance but no one was around. I returned to the machine and this time using the machine on the right I successfully loaded $20 onto my card and proceeded to wash. I approached the person on duty, and was referred to Angie, about this but she denied that I put $20 in the machine on the left. Through text messages, she sent a screenshot of transactions and offered to show me the surveillance video. When I accepted her offer via text to view the surveillance video, she asked me what time I would be coming so she could have the police present! What sort of jerk move is that?! If the surveillance video simply shows that I was mistaken and I did not insert $20 like I believe I did, then that's all there is to it. There is no need to threaten to get the police involved over such a petty matter!! Sadly, this has become the normal level of customer service you can expect from Harbor Laundry. Particularly damning, please read the review from the disabled veteran Yajaira S. with a service dog who Harbor Laundry discriminated against 1 year ago. Harbor Laundry used to be very responsive to all customer needs both positive and negative. For a while, they had a Business Manager named Travis S. and he was very actively responding here on yelp - to the good and the bad! I noticed that his activities seem to have ceased about 2 years ago and when I reached out to him via the cell phone number he left in one of his responses, that number is no longer valid. I am assuming Travis S. got fed up and bailed out of the public relations dumpster fire that is Harbor Laundry. I also note that the disabled veteran with the service dog was never responded to. If I ever see Harbor Laundry - or any business for that matter - mistreat anyone with a disability, I will take it upon myself to see that they are reported as an ADA violation in the harshest light possible. Lastly, when I was in Harbor Laundry some months ago, Angie, the horrible customer service person on site, was boasting to customers that she had been promoted! This is unbelievable because as you see in the other comments below, many customers who speak Spanish have pointed out that Angie talks badly about customers who she thinks don't speak Spanish to other Spanish speakers behind the customer's backs! I have witnessed her doing this myself as I speak Spanish too. I read every single review on Yelp and I counted at least 9 reviewers who have had problems with Angie - including 1 by Elainoir M. 2 years ago that involved racism! It is for these reasons that I believe that Harbor Laundry is deliberately trying to produce the worst customer service possible. Why else would the owners promote such a horrible person - unless they actually want her as their repulsive gatekeeper so they don't have to interact with customers themselves? Let me remind Harbor Laundry that their customers are who keep them in business! Requests for contact information of the owners - or at least a manager above Angie - were refused. Contrary to what you might expect, I will continue to go to Harbor Laundry. I will be watching for any and all examples and incidents of bad customer service and returning here every time to report them. I will also escalate outside of this site as necessary. On the flip-side, this is Harbor Laundry's opportunity to correct the error I experienced with their equipment and their rude, arrogant employee, Angie, and also to provide their reassurance that she has been corrected and disciplined. I would happily change my rating to 5-stars if they earn it by making things right - if they make good on their commitment to their customers as they glowingly wrote up in their own description here on yelp (customers are "invited guest to a party" and "Harbor Laundry wants to make every customer interaction count, even the small ones." Normally has been fine experience, but I ran into a problem today that they were not able to fix, and so I won't be returning ever again. Machine took my money (and more than the posted amount), and would not work. I came to do some bulky items. I had 2 dollars on my card and added 10. I loaded up one of the large washers in the front, cost: 6.50. I put card in, and it takes money, and...nothing. At first I thought it didn't go through, so I tried it again. Card balance reads as 4.50. Not sure how, since 12 - 6.50 = 5.50. Regardless, it clearly went through. I asked the person on shift about this, and unfortunately was not able to communicate to them/convince them that I had indeed just loaded money, and 2) that the machine had taken the money. If their card loader had been able to print a receipt, I might have been able to use that. So, I'm going to another place. If you can choose where you go, I recommend ecospin laundry on Narbonne instead of here. They've been reliable. read more

Had bad customer service - Used a wash machine that did not work properly left clothes soggy wet and soapy told and showed the attendant of this who proceeded to call her manager. After their lengthy conversation the attendant proceeded to tell me they would not reimburse or pay for the load of laundry that still was soaked and soapy because i did something wrong which I did not so at my cost that load of laundry cost me double . To start off, I rarely go anywhere else but my apartment complex to wash and to dry clothes. Today I had the task of washing my comforters, sheets, and pillow cases... all the big stuff. Anyhow, if I could rate the nice African American man who helped me set up a card, add money, and register my card AND show me how to use the washing machines with a smile on his face I would rate this laundromat a 10 out of 5 for customer service itself. However, when it came to drying my clothes (Again this is my first time here) I was unclear on knowing how to function these machines with my card I had reloaded money on. I read on the internet that Tuesday's were free drying, but that wasn't the case, it's a free 30 min. It wasn't stated on the platform, so minus points on the false advertising. It wouldn't have been so bad if the Latin Lady didn't roll her eyes at me for asking her a couple questions on how to work these things. Then I proceed politely to ask her just one more on how it works on the Tuesday's free drying and she assumed I wanted the second dry free, and she screamed "NO FOR FREE 30 Min ONLY SOOOOOORRRRRYYY." Then she proceeded to speak Spanish to a lady she seemed to be familiar with, and I heard Chinita and she also repeated my exact amount of minutes I had on my dryer so I know she was talking about me. I made a mistake of adding money to a third dryer when I only needed two, so I had no choice but to ask her how I could cancel it since the nice man already left; and again she rolled her eyes and told me there's nothing I could do and that was that. Then to piss me off, she even offered to give that paid time to a random person. Then I told that person kindly I Made a mistake but I'm going to see if possibly my sheets need more drying, and if not I'll somehow contact the owners to see about what I can do with unused time, since she made it CLEAR there is no way of getting my MONEY back, or even put back on the card. Then she over heard me tell this to the man, and screamed she told me she'd give me the money back, when she didn't. She probably told her friend she was talking about me to. This establishment is nice and clean, but this lady is beyond horrible, mean, discriminating unprofessional, and unhelpful. Won't be coming back. read more

All the great reviews are 100% right. Very clean. Lots of different sized machines. And I purposely came here because I can use credit or debit cards on all the machines ! I think the best part was Blanca!! She was so helpful with everything from picking out the right machine to save money to how to use the credit card slots. Someone give her a raise. Or clone her and hire her in a bunch of places around town. We need more good customer service like this!! I don't live in the area but I plan to come back! I hadn't been to a laundromat in 10 years but I had been putting off washing my comforters too long. Now I have a place to go to for all my large loads that won't fit in my washer. I chose this place over the other one closer to my house bc a reviewer said it was "clean enough to eat off the floor" and I'm a germophobe. This place gets a pass! The owner is a kind gentleman who takes pride in running a clean, well-functioning laundry facility. I was rusty on how things worked and he showed me the difference between the machine sizes, how to start my wash/dry and was so generous with his time as to help me fold my large comforters so they wouldn't touch the floor! To use the regular white washers is $3.25 a load plus an extra quarter if you want to put the load at a medium cycle. 50 cents to use the dryer for 15 mins and it only takes card I believe, but the card readers are wonky. I'm in town from Seattle and needed to get some laundry done while I was visiting my dad. This is really the cleanest laundromat I have ever seen. I would eat off the floor. Ok that dramatic but really it's much cleaner than any business I've ever been to. There are lots of sized of machines for all your needs. (I needed the huge washer/Dryer) Everything will run off your debit/credit card which I thought was really convenient. Also the fellow working (probably the owner) is so pleasant to speak with. I have a medical condition in which resulted in me having this amazing service dog, I will not discuss my exact condition but let's just say paramedics could be at scene, I kindly asked if it's ok to bring in my service dog even though a business store Should NOT discriminate I was told "if she isn't a small dog she can't come in " I was shocked, you mean to tell me that a small loud annoying chihuahua is allowed BUT my "oversized" TRAINED SERVICE DOG isn't because of her size!? This place is well maintained which is the main reason why it's always a pleasure to do our laundry here especially at this time of pandemic. However, the person who usually assigned here (latina, wearing black glasses, about 5 ft tall) has become such an annoyance in our experience. For many incidents that we tried to ignore, the last time we did the laundry here she just grabbed our cart without the courtesy of asking. When I told her that it was our cart which I was about to use to unload our clothes, she loudly announced that it's not our cart but everybody's cart with everyone looking at us. We didn't say anything that we literally own the cart but it was in use. The fact that she just took the cart without even asking is plainly rude. There were few other carts that had been left from other customers who was not in the premise for long time. I hope the Management should consider providing a solution to this kind of behavior regardless of the race or ethnicity. read more

This place is FU**ING AMAZING. Did I notice this place before the remodel? Hell no, but you bet your sweet pa-too-tee I did afterwards. As I passed by one day to get a Carnitas Burrito from El Burrito Jr, I was blinded by a light brighter than the sun. I nearly crashed my car. It was the spotless mirror like surface of their machines, amazing cleanliness on every aspect of this laundromat. From what the voices tell me, former President Bill Clinton does his laundry here. So does Brad Pitt and Chuck Norris. They're all drawn in by the amazing customer service that his place has. They've got brand spanking new machines for any purpose. It's like they switch the machines out every night for new ones. Don't get me started on the bathroom. I'd use the toilet bowl as a cereal bowl, it's so clean.
