I love coming to lone oak! Last year I rented a tent for my friends for my birthday and it was so cute. I love the vibes here. They have a decent food and drinks menu but I believe you can also bring in your own field when you're sitting in the field area. Always a good time here.

Perfect location to chill with your family with a beer. This is so close to my house that I come here too often. Lone Oak Farm Brewery is a hidden gem that perfectly blends rustic charm with top-tier craft brewing. From the moment you arrive, the open farm setting and peaceful country backdrop set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The brewery itself has a welcoming, laid-back vibe--great for families, groups of friends, or a casual solo visit. Their beer selection is impressive, with something for every palate--from crisp lagers and hoppy IPAs to smooth stouts and seasonal specialties. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully brewed. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, always ready to offer recommendations or talk beer. The outdoor space is a major highlight--plenty of seating, scenic views, and often live music or food trucks that make it easy to spend hours there. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing day in the countryside, Lone Oak delivers a memorable and genuinely enjoyable experience. Highly recommend making the trip--you won't regret it.

It was a cute spot. I went for a friend's birthday. It's an open space with picnic table sitting areas. You're able to bring food, games, and additional seating. The bartenders were friendly. The drinks I tried were good - very light and not too strong. There were separate areas you can book indoors, outdoors and in tents. It was my first time here and I was very surprised by how many children there were. There is even a park. Not all parents are watching their kids so keep that in mind. It may not be everyone's vibe. Again, it was a nice space. The food was okay. We had pizza and chicken tenders. There were also multiple food trucks.

I remember coming here during COVID and we rented a tent. This place was just a brewery. Now it's this massive brewery and distillery. They have this amazing speak easy. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Preston was very impressed with his knowledge and his ability to speak about the business. Lexi was the opposite. She was not friendly and helpful. The food was very delicious. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

I went to check out the new speakeasy at Fallen Oak. I don't believe they have a page yet. We had a great experience! We were seated immediately and given prompt attention. The bartender was new. We loved our food and drinks- the crab dip, Greekin flatbread, and the Smokestak flatbread. For drinks, I got the Maryland mule which I loved, and the grapefruit crush which was also a hit. Can't wait to go back! I do hope they add more food items to the menu. The decor is so nice- very elegant but comfortable. There seems to be a stage area in case they have live music soon.

Is this the best brewery in Maryland? I think so! The outdoor space is amazing! We stopped by brookville brewery and am so glad we decided to come here instead! The space is atleast 4x larger and the beers were excellent! The service of the staff are on point as they keep the entire area very clean. It was a very busy day and some of the beers ran out, and so, we will definitely be back to try them out!

Such a Fun Experience - Highly Recommend the Tea Party! Had a great time at Lone Oak Brewery, especially at the Speakeasy! The food was delicious and the custom drinks were amazing -- so many fun and creative options to choose from. I went with friends for their "T-Day" tea party, and it was the perfect vibe for a girls' night out or even a mother-daughter brunch. The whole experience was well put together, with great service and a super fun atmosphere. I definitely recommend checking out the tea party if you're looking for something unique and memorable!

Lone oaks newest adventure: fallen oak a nod to the fallen oak tree on the property. This new speakeasy is an excellent date night spot. You can't go wrong here but the vodka and maple bourbon were my two favorites of the day! We didn't come here for food but I'll save that for next time.....

We loved our visit to Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company! The hubs was celebrating his birthday and we wanted to do something a little different. I found Lone Oak on Yelp and we planned a visit. Upon arrival, we were pretty impressed with the amount of space that was available at the farm. They have ample parking and ample seating that's either covered at the main building or picnic tables in the field. It looks like the covered seating goes quickly, so get there early if you want to be seated in that area. Apparently the tents and seating around the fire pits require reservations and a fee. We came into the main building and ordered 2 flights, so we could get a feel of all the beers. They have a massive amount of beer options, but luckily, our bartender walked us through them. We found seating at a picnic table on the massive grounds. Some people brought their own tents and set them up, others brought their own chairs and blankets. They also have a playground for the kiddos. Dogs are welcomed, on leashes, of course. We stayed for a while and had some really great beer and had some not so great beer. Probably would've stayed longer, but the sun was beating on my head. Kind of wish the picnic tables had umbrellas. At any rate, we had a great visit and the staff were very helpful/friendly. Great location to visit and enjoy some great local beer!

Lone Oak has done an amazing job with the brewery and distillery. I love coming here, the atmosphere, the drinks, and the experience are always top-notch. Great job!

Relaxed vibes and friendly staff. Appreciated the classic rock live music at the brewery and really enjoyed the Kodiak and Deep Root brews. Pretzel sticks were yummy. We were pleasantly surprised to learn about the accompanying distillery and absolutely loved the Fall in Oak cocktail. Staff were very kind and offered my boyfriend a few tastes before he settled on the rye. We look forward to many more afternoons and evenings here!

3.18.24 This was my first time at a brewery on a farm. The ambience was breathtaking especially with the sunset. It would make for some beautiful professional photos. I'm not much of a drinker, but I did sample rose that I came with the flight my hubby purchased and I really liked it. I also purchased a bay breeze which wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. My hubby ordered a few beers. Hubby and I came for a friend's birthday. Our friends reserved two tables. We all brought outside food to share and a few of us bought booze from the brewery. Definitely was a beautiful venue to celebrate, but the windy condition in late afternoon/early evening made it too cold for some of us who aren't well insulated. Lol. My hubby loved the venue and could see us coming back. Reservations Info: -fire pit for $90.1 for 1 hr 45 mins. Max of 6 guests including. 20% automatic gratuity added at the end. -small tent for $132.5 for 1 hr 45 mins. We had brought a couple of small snacks, not realizing that outside food isn't allowed. We completely understand that businesses have policies like this, and if it had simply been explained politely, we would have immediately put the food away without any issue. Instead, the manager, Angel, approached us with an unnecessarily rude and confrontational attitude. What should have been a simple, friendly conversation turned into an uncomfortable interaction. Even after we acknowledged the policy, the rude behavior continued, making us feel like we were inconveniencing her by simply being there. There's a big difference between enforcing a rule and treating paying customers with disrespect. The policy wasn't the problem othe way it was handled was. The beer itself is quite good, and the bathrooms are clean. No complaints there. The issue is atmosphere, or the lack of it. Service was efficient and accurate, but the bartenders ranged from detached to noticeably unfriendly, which doesn't exactly set the mood. There was a live band the night I visited, and they were good. They were clearly trying to get something going, but it just didn't take. Part of that may be the crowd, which I realize a brewery can't fully control. But it's a strange fit for the location. Seven Locks sits in an industrial park in a more modest part of Rockville, and the clientele skews heavily toward families who've come with kids, tablets, and dogs, and who aren't particularly interested in talking to anyone they didn't arrive with. There's nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't make for a lively bar experience. The result is a place that has the ingredients for something great but feels oddly joyless in practice. I'll probably try it again hoping something clicks, but right now it's a hard place to love.
