Beer on Tapz is a bar and beer/wine shop located in germantown. My family and I stopped by here on Christmas! We were thankful that they were open on a holiday. They have a small parking lot right outside. They have a variety of beers on draft and a few seltzer options in a few different sizes (8oz and 16oz). I ordered their Euro Lager and Truly Wild Berry Seltzer. The owners served us quickly and were happy to have us over the holiday. The overall environment was very casual which we appreciated. Afterwards we stopped by their market area and looked around. The had a variety of chilled and counter beers and wines. We decided to grab a champagne to go in the spirit of Christmas! We were happy with our overall experience and were glad that they were able to accommodate us over the holidays! read more

This divey bar is a neighborhood staple and if I lived close, I'd be there alllll the time. When you enter all you see is shelves and shelves of beer and wine. If you look to the right, it's like a wild surprise that there's a whole bar area! I met up with some friends there, and started by ordering a drink. Do note that it's just beer and wine, no liquor! There were like 20+ beers on tap to choose from -- thankfully they let you sample! I settled on a double IPA -- it was... South County Glowsun... it was bomb!!! I then joined my friends at a nearby table and we just hung out. The place was really chill, no frills. The men's and women's bathrooms are on opposite ends of the building -- you have to walk through the store part for the men's bathroom. The prices were pretty affordable too -- happy hour is from 4:00-7:00 on weekdays, but even after that, a glass of wine is $5, and the pours are generous. Oh, they also do not have any food, but you are more than welcomed to bring food from anywhere you like! It's truly a vibe and I would recommend this bar to anyone in the area. read more

When we had to re-route from our original destination, last minute, we frantically searched 'craft beer near me'a and hoped for the best. This location was better than the best. A hole in the wall, hidden gem indeed, their bar is tucked back next to their liquor store. We were welcomed by not only a friendly bartender, but friendly locals. They encouraged us to quickly pick a seat, as live music was starting soon. A wonderful older couple took the stage, as we ordered cheap drinks (woo for Happy Hour $4 pints). The beer is great, the selections are vast, and the pours are cold. I wish we spent more time here, but hunger was calling, so we headed out. Eat first, then spend your evening here. Made the trip up here to meet someone. The place is nice and clean and the people are friendly. I'm not sure how often it happens, but there were two people playing live music, which was a lot of fun. There's a decent beer selection and flights are available. Great Selection of beers on Tapz! and wine too. Stumbled onto this place on a Sunday afternoon to grab a beer after lunch at Provision Cafe. From the outside it looks like your regular neighborhood beer and wine shop. Inside there is a huge long bar with 20 beers on Tapz. Sunday Happy Hour Prices from 1-7pm! Jackpot! HHr pours were $2.10 to $6.30 for 5, 8, 16oz. Our favorite was from Left Hand brewing Milk Stout. Good variety of beers. No food except for chips but you can bring your own or have it delivered. This is not your typical sports bar. Very low key, a very decent regular crowd, the occasional pup dog, sports and Keno on the various monitors and 20 taps plus whatever's in the extensive cold cases to choose from. There's wine both on tap and on the shelves, and your fav tunes on Spotify to chill to. Chips on the rack but feel free to bring your own food, even have it delivered! It's all good. read more

This beer store is around the corner from where I live and every time I drive by it...I kept thinking I have to check it out. It's in a small row of businesses tucked away inside an apartment complex. First walking in, I thought wow this beer store is so spacious!! In fact I feel like they need more stuff to make it look fuller. On the left is all the beer choices with a huge beer fridge for the big packs. On the right is the cashier stand and right behind is a small bar with beer on tap. They also have a snack and candy display for purchase. The bar has a few stools and they also have about 3 stand alone tables. I spoke to the person working there about how this set up is. He said that you can buy the beer or wine and drink it here. You can also bring anything you want to eat inside. The only catch is that...to eat and drink inside...there's a $7 fee per person. I guess it's for services. A few men at the bar enjoying themselves and there is also big screen TVs to watch news or sports. They also have happy hour prices mon-sat and all day Sunday for the beers on tap. It's a pretty cool and convenient idea for the people living around the area can drink and walk home. read more

Great place to have a beer. Not only can you have one of the 20 beers on tap, you can take a six pack or a nice bottle of wine home. Bartender is a really nice guy and they always serve you on a clean glass. They also have the great option of selecting a 5oz, 8oz or a 16oz in case you want to try something different. Most of the beers on tap are also local beers. The only downside is that they don't offer food but they do let you order or bring food in. It's unique designed makes it's a hidden gem and it's popularity will skyrocket once discovered. The name Beer on TAPz is a little confusing to where you're puzzled as to whether this place is a brewery or a beer store. From the outside, you'd automatically assume that it is just a normal beer store. This is not the case. When you first walk in you're taken back by the open floor space and the high tables and chairs. In the middle you'll be shocked to find a bar. The bar contains 20 different beers on tap all from local and non local breweries. They also sell 600 different types of beers as well as wines. Beer on TAPz does not offer food but you can bring your own. I highly recommend trying this place out if your the area or if your local. read more

Great place, friendly owners! We met there with friends to watch the Redskins play and share a few beers. Beer on Tapz is spacious, clean and comfortable. At first it looks just like a beer/wine store, but there are a number of tables, chairs and well-placed televisions so you can watch the game. Plenty of space to move around. Such great service! Awesome place as it's the only place in town with this kind of beer selection. Personally I think this place would bring in a larger crowd if there was some more lights added on the draft side along with the music not blaring the whole time you're in there. I'm rating this place only as a place to have a pint or two on draft, not as a beer store. My friends and I regularly get together for a couple beers on a Friday or a Saturday night. We're always looking for a place with a diverse draft list with enough seats for all 4 of us. I was really pleased with the selection of draft beers and thought the price was on par with other local options. Also on the plus side for us, you can bring in your own food (they only have chips and candy on sale). Will definitely come back. It's so nice to find a place where we can drink and still hear each other talk. I was a little worried for them, since it was a bit empty for a Saturday night. Hope they pick up some more business and stay open. read more

Sat down at a table with my friends and we waited for the bartender to come over. He didn't come over to our table.
