We stopped by this spot for a drink after spending some time at the beach. Service was quick. The bar is right in front of the beach which gives it a good vibe. I like to know what I did wrong. The bar area was Less than half empty. The bar tender had free time. And was on his phone. I needed napkins and a refill for long enough time. And he didn't take notice. He was less than 6 feet from me . Not paying attention to our group at all. Other people were getting constant service. That was a major strike. Inconsistent of drink mixture was the final blow. Has I sat here at the bar I watched the bartender make several drinks. Some same drinks had inconsistency of liquor. It was for different groups including our own. I did not try any food here. But with this experience. with the bartender we had here I was not happy. And I can not recommend this place . The chicken was dry and tasted like fish was grilled beforehand. It was hard and had no flavor. The "chutney" was a couple of diced tomatoes and mangoes. This place is a tourist trap. You might as well go to McDonald's and get fries with nuggets, it's cheaper and probably tastes better. Avoid it like the plague if you're looking for a bite on the beach. Amazing views, meh service and not so great drinks! I had 2 different menu drinks and the first "Ocean Breeze" was so sweet and syrupy i didn't finish it. Also it was not topped with hornitos black barrel tequila as was stated on menu. The 2nd was a "Perfect Margarita". Not so much "perfect"! It had very little alcohol in it and tons of salt. I love a salted rim but not when all the salt gets washed into the drink by sloppy bartending. Really undrinkable. And I absolutely hate when you leave a half of a drink or more and the bartender never asks if there was something wrong!! Both drinks were at the top of the drink menu price points of $14. I ordered beach chips which were not "lattice"at all as described on the menu. I expected fries but they were actually potato chips. Still I have to say they were very good. The top layer at least. After that it was just plain chips, as the toppings were not layered. Still good though and it made me stop eating the entire serving- which was really better for 2. So to summarize, bad drinks/bartender, good chips and great views and vibe. read more

We came here on Friday night and this was one of the few bars we had not tried yet at Margaritaville. Well after going it can stay off my list. The service is terrible. We sat down at the bar only to be ignored for a very long time. It was embarrassing furthermore they weren't even busy. The one bartender was talking away and the other was cleaning up for the night. Obviously one was entertaining himself and the other just wanted to go home as this bar closes at 8 PM on a Friday night. After a very long wait the one cleaning took our order. I had a Strawberry Daiquiri my husband a can of Budweiser. Needless to say so much effort went into the frozen drink that the bartender forgot what my husband wanted and started pouring him a draft. Ironically of all the places in Margaritaville this is the one I have found with the best food and the quickest service. I am normally laying on the beach or by the pool and have a waiter come to me. The beach menu is a little different than the one for the pool/bar but you could try and ask them for substitutions. My favorite choice is the BBQ Chicken Flatbread. I also have tried the grilled chicken caesar salad, and chips and dip. I don't normally sit at the bar. I have found it quicker to have them come to you and order that way. read more

Packed as fizzzuk...on the outside of the pool, where people who couldn't enter the pool were. I was on the inside, in the pool, so it was a beautiful thing. It is right by the entrance to the Margaritaville pool side and since the bar caters to both the people staying at the resort (me) and the outsiders, it gets mad hectic. The drinks are pretty strong and not expensive. I prefer the Landshark Bar for my morning bloodies but this spot is good to get smashed at for when the sun only hits this pool. Came to Lone Palm (part of the Margaritaville Resort) for dinner and drinks with my wife. Although the bartenders were friendly and professional, the drink menu was very repetitive. Prices were a little high compared to other spots on Hollywood beach, and the drinks were a little small (but tasty). After three rounds of drinks, I asked our bartender to take our dinner order, and she said she'd be right back to help us. I headed to the bathroom, which is in the Margaritaville hotel. On my way back from the bathroom, I was stopped by a security guard who asked for my room key. I told him that I was a patron at their bar, and that I was just heading back. He told me that I needed to leave the resort, and go to the bar from the public boardwalk, which I did immediately. When I finally got back to the bar, I found out that the bartender never came back to check on us or take our dinner order, so we decided to take our business elsewhere. If I spend my money at a business, I expect to be treated like a customer, not an intruder. There are plenty of other great spots on the beach, won't be back. read more

It was Thanksgiving day and they were happy to provide a positive service. This makes me grateful for people like them to carry a positive attitude at work even on a holiday.
