Part of the Marriott. It's actually pretty convenient. I ate here several times while staying there. The waitress' in the am/afternoon is amazing! The food was good each time. I had the chicken tacos they were amazing! And the breakfast buffet had lots of options. Would definitely eat and stay here again!

My cousin and I went here to celebrate her birthday. Beach restaurants I'm very skeptical of because it can be a hit or miss, but this one was actually a hit. I had the burger and it was very tasty. My only comment is that they need to season the patty a little bit more. The fish tacos were a hit and my cousin really enjoyed them. The restaurant isn't a great place because you're right in front of the beach, which is such a beautiful scenery and we had great service.

We've been staying at the hotel for five days and have dined at the restaurant throughout our visit, so I wanted to share some honest feedback. Unfortunately, the service has been very inconsistent -- truly hit or miss. The food itself is adequate overall, and the breakfast buffet (which is included) has been good. The buffet items are fresh, and the past two mornings we've had a lovely server who was attentive and pleasant. However, other aspects of the service have been frustrating. Despite being here multiple days, staff have repeatedly struggled to pronounce a very simple name -- JILL -- instead calling out "Geo" or "Byron." At one point I didn't even realize they were attempting to call me, and we were passed over. It's a small thing, but after several days, it starts to feel careless. One evening I ordered a cheeseburger -- just cheese, well done. I clearly and politely stated (three times) no onions, no peppers, no pickles. The server didn't write it down. The burger arrived undercooked and bloody, loaded with onions, peppers, and pickles. I had to send it back. That kind of mistake is avoidable with basic attention to detail. Another night, despite the restaurant being half empty, we were told the kitchen was shutting down for an hour because it was backed up and they didn't have enough wait staff. It was a holiday weekend -- one would think staffing would be planned accordingly. As hotel guests, we're somewhat of a captive audience, so that was disappointing. Overall, the breakfast buffet has been the highlight, and when the service is good, it's very good. But the inconsistency, lack of organization, and poor communication have left us frustrated. Lesson learned -- we'll be dining elsewhere for the remainder of our stay. Oh the view is great !!!

    Merlot and Pinot Grigio

I always like to start the year trying out a new restaurant, and Latitudes was my pick for New Year's Day 2025 while touristing Hollywood Beach with a friend. It's right on the Hollywood Beach boardwalk, and we were able to snag a one of the tables closest to the beach. We started off with a toast, myself with a slightly chilled Merlot and my friend with her Pinot Grigio. Although the menu had a lot of seafood dishes, there's plenty of items for everyone. I of course went for the burger, medium well. Even then, it was juicy and had a yummy smoky flavor. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, and I like the fact they had a perfectly melted slice of Swiss cheese on it. I also tried my friend's chicken quesadilla, which had a generous helping of chicken in a lightly crispy tortilla (and also got her seal of approval). Since calories don't count on January 1, we shared their warm chocolate lava cake. This one was made with dark chocolate, nicely warm and moist and garnished with strawberries & blueberries. The reason we're holding back a fifth star is because there were little flying insects by the outside table. To their credit , the hostess did give us a heads up and said they were working on remediating it but still, it was a nuisance. Even with plating, the service was top notch attentive with the courses and wine refill.

I dined here with some friends and it is a beautiful hotel. The outdoor area of the restaurant overlooks the beach and palm trees which is a lovely view. With all these pros, the cocktails and food were average to below average. The cocktails were okay but after one it wasn't worth ordering another. The flatbreads are very small and lacked flavor. The salmon tacos seemed thrown together with no real flavor combination. The service was fast and our waiter was good but it wouldn't be worth coming back here again!

Let's start with the good...the view from the outside seating is beautiful and our server was sweet, attentive and accommodating. There was a little wait for seating with open table, but I'm sure they are short-staffed like everyone else. Food...my son's pancakes were huge, he said they were good, although chocolate chips were a topping and not mixed in the batter. The bacon was super well-done. I do like that, but others don't. I bit into my poached egg....the shell was still on half of it. Gross . And the English muffin was so soggy it was inedible. The server had walked up as I crunched on my egg, she took it away and had it comped. A pancake breakfast, bacon, OJ and a coffee was $35. Definitely not worth it. I'll need to adventure out for other options.

Ambiance is Everything ! Sitting outside with the ocean breeze enjoying a meal . Wifey ordered the salmon tacos with sweet potato fries and I got the Mahi Mahi sandwich with seasoned fries . Very good ! The pina colado was so so the guess they had no fresh pineapple.

Food was great, the decor could stand for a refresher, but the people are wonderful I'd eat there again for sure!

My family and I have been coming here for years. Ambiance: amazing, they have seating available right on the boardwalk overlooking the beach, they also have a covered patio and a huge bar if you preferred to sit there. The place could use a renovation. Hopefully in time soon. Food: great! They have a lot of variety from salads, sandwiches, pastas. The food was very good. It is pricey but it's what you would expect from a hotel on the beach. Service: the staff that took care of us for lunch was absolutely amazing. The hostess and the server overheard us talk about my mom's birthday and they made the day very special. At night my friend and I sat at the bar and the gentleman that was tending was very dismissive and made us feel like we were inconveniencing him any time we asked for anything, there was a lady bartender who picked up on the vibe and she took over and turned the experience around. I've been to a lot of places on the boardwalk and this is by far the best.

We sat outside . We had a great waiter. A lot of the food was over priced for the amount of food you get. The pizza in the picture was $16. The drink I believe was $20. But I must say their chicken wing were very delicious

It's nice having restaurant at the hotel. Food was a little overpriced for what is offered. Service is slow but it is convenient. I'd definitely explore the broad walk and try other restaurants.

We are very please of the quality of our food and the servers. Yes a few time I had to write négatif reviews, because I like to tell the true story. Last week we hit the jackpot with the wonderful server we had. It is sad that most the time he works in the evening , and most our outing are at lunch. So, this time he was our lunch server . His name was JOSE, I can say, after all the time we eat at that restaurant he was one of the best servers, he had nice personality, we could see that he liked Is job, hope next time I go back , that he will be working, beside the great tuna lunch we had , he completed our nice outing . Making an online reservation was effortless, and we were seated promptly, so our visit started off on a positive note. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was underwhelming. Our server was friendly, but the service overall was very slow. It took quite a while for him to check back with us, and he wasn't very familiar with the menu. We had to remind him of the side options that came with our meals, which was surprising. While he was pleasant, the level of service just wasn't what we expected. The food was average and didn't really stand out. We all ordered the three-course special. We started with the tortilla soup and the chili, but both arrived only lukewarm, which was disappointing. For the entrées, my steak was tough, not very tender, and also wasn't served hot. The mashed potatoes were actually the highlight of my plate--they were flavorful and well prepared. The ribs were tender. The salmon entrée was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant wasn't busy during our visit, which made the slow service and long wait for our food even more surprising. We also noticed other tables that had been waiting even longer than we had, with meals taking an unusually long time to come out. Overall, this just wasn't the birthday dinner experience we were hoping for. While the staff was courteous, the slow service and average food make it unlikely that we'll return. Hopefully they're able to improve, because the restaurant has potential, but unfortunately this visit missed the mark for us.

We stopped by last week after craving a sweet treat on a hot and sunny day. Our son has been into cookies and cream milkshakes lately so we decided to get two milkshakes. What I really like about this place is that they have a take out window for quick and on the go orders. I've dined in a few times in the past which the restaurant is so nostalgic with all the decor. Things started out ok with our server Kari G. waited a while for our food to arrive, but when it did, everything was good. Kari stopped by to check in us once, and so did the floor manager, which was great. Things turned BAD when a group of about 25 kids from a Soccer Team showed up, and we were basically forgotten. Had to ask a busser for a to go box, then another server for our check. We sat for about 20 min simply while we watched Kari bring out food and ice cream to the large group. She never returned to our table. When the manager brought our check to the table, I politely told him how I was in the Hospitality Industry as well and was very disappointed with the service they provided. He apologized and thanked me for the feed back and asked if we would like some Ice Cream, and I stated NO that we just wanted to leave. He offered to take the ice cream off the bill if we got some but we again stated we just wanted to leave. He apologized but what he should have done was offered ice cream to go! Yes I did leave Kari G a tip and I will recommend Jaxson's to my hotel guests, but will WARN them of the poor service, and high prices!

It was the sign underneath that read, "Too tired to cook today?" that made us take notice. Looking at the online menu we found that it was not only a who's who of Latin dishes of different nationalities, but they also served bar fare - chicken wings, burgers, quesadillas, etc. Not knowing what their specialty was, we never committed to it. But today was one of those days where we felt like something different and we took a chance. The gamble paid off big. The menu was all over the place, so not knowing what direction to go in, I addressed the waiter who was all too ready to help. He pointed me to some of his faves: the Bandeja Paisa, Lomo Saltado, and Ropa Vieja. I'd had my eye on the Lomo Saltado, a popular Peruvian stir fry dish. The Bandeja Paisa is Colombian, and the Ropa Vieja - Cuban. I asked him what the nationality of the ownership was, when he revealed it was Colombian. I was immediately skeptical of ordering the ropa vieja - being half Cuban, I could not fathom the idea of a Colombian-owned restaurant pulling this off. So Joe took one for the team there. The waiter assured me that everything he has tried has in fact been delectable. But hey, what else is he supposed to say? But no, he assured me these were not marketing words, but words of experience. So I went for the Lomo Saltado which was served with black beans and rice, and french fries. He didn't hesitate to vouch for the black beans... I think he sensed my Colombian skepticism. Joe had replaced his fries for sweet plantains, so I took his cue and substituted my fries for tostones. But, not before warning the waiter that I would be particularly particular about the quality of my favorite plantain dish. He gave me a confident nod - so I played along. Joe's dish came out a few seconds before mine, and being the impatient carnivore that I am, I (let's say borrowed) his ropa vieja before he had a chance to pick up his fork. I was very pleasantly surprised. On par with any old clothes I have tried at any Cuban restaurant... and even better than some, albeit in longer strands than I've experienced. However, extremely juicy, full of flavor and tender. Then came my Lomo. I'm a first-timer, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was fan-tastic. A bit charred outside with a juicy medium innard that cuts like butter, and to my relief, deceivingly tender. The lomo napped on a bed of sautée-charred veggies whose sweetness was a nicely balanced contrast to the savory meat. The black beans were definitely on point and seasoned with Colombian love. And those ten-ton-tostones!!! By far the thickest fried medallions I've had, but with a brutally loud crunch and still a real easy chew. And unlike John Travolta in a black T-Bird jacket, totally Greaseless. Often times, tostones of this variety are tough and as chewable as week-old yellow paper mache. Nope, these are some of the best tostones I've had in a couple of years. But by far the best of their kind. I also borrowed one of Joe's sweet plantations which once again left no trace of greased lightning and were rendered a perfect dark brown with a nice and plush sunshine yellow inside. The portions were more than generous and the price was comfortably modest. I expressed my deepest gratitude to our waiter for his patience and his spot on recommendations. He also swore by their burger which he had just sampled for the first time and which is made partly with Colombian chorizo and served with a side of chimichurri. Chorizo and chimichurri for little cha-ching.... I'm sure I'll be chowing on that real soon. Food Corner is a cornucopia of Latin influences, and so far, it's also a master of two of them. (We were too excited to take photos)

The atmosphere has a fun tiki island vibe and, even though it was a hot day, the overall atmosphere was really enjoyable. Now, let's get into the FOOD! We all ordered different dishes, which gave us the perfect excuse to try a little bit of everything. We started with the fried zucchini chips with lemon aioli--so good! The lemon aioli really kicked them up a notch. We also had the banana bread with whipped honey butter, and that butter literally melted in your mouth. Both were fantastic! We also tried the smoked fish dip, which came with fresh vegetables. My husband ordered the oysters. They were a little smaller than the oysters we're used to, but they were still tasty. For our entrees, we all went in different directions. I had the avocado chili salmon, topped with a chili glaze, served with herb rice, grilled broccolini, and sunflower sprouts. This was definitely my favorite dish! Simple, fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We also had the Carne Asada Steak & Eggs, Grains & Greens, and a side of shrimp. Everything we tried was really good, and there was something for everyone. Our waitress was excellent--she was attentive, friendly, and always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. She even took a selfie with us, which was such a fun personal touch! The prices are very reasonable, and they also offer a Rise & Shine brunch option with unlimited mimosas, Bloody Marys, or rosé for $28, which is a great deal if you're looking to enjoy some drinks with your brunch. And if you want something a little more adventurous, they have some fun cocktail options, including the Tiki Loaded Caesar with double Tito's vodka, Clamato, candied bacon, an oyster, shrimp, pickle, and a spiced rim. Or you can go for a fresh-pressed espresso martini. Overall, we had a wonderful Father's Day brunch. Great food, reasonable prices, a fun atmosphere, and excellent service. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the Hollywood area! We'll definitely be back!

-- Great service and a good experience overall…read more Overall, we had a really nice experience. We ordered the poke nachos, which were delicious as always--the tuna was fresh, and all of the flavors worked really well together. The oysters were also fresh and tasty, and the Real Margarita with Sauza Blue tequila, fresh lime, agave, and a Tajín rim was really good. The scallops weren't really to our liking, but we understand that the kitchen can't get every dish perfect every single time. What really made the experience better was how the manager handled the situation. They were understanding about our concerns and ended up reimbursing us for our dessert, which we really appreciated. The restaurant was a little quiet, and the food took a bit longer than expected, but overall, the good outweighed the negatives. We were grateful that the manager listened to us and helped resolve the issue. Great customer service can really make a difference, and because of how everything was handled, we're moving this experience up to four stars. We would definitely come back and reassess our experience in the future! Thank you, hector as well for being an amazing Bartender/server we were Treated exquisitely. He had the best service and we loved it.

The pan seared scallops entree was divine - buttery soft with a crispy coating, and scrumptious with a squeeze of lemon. We chose sides of baked potato and pasta salad. My husband ordered the fish and chips - easily one of the top 3 best fish and chips we've ever eaten in the world. The fish was light and perfectly crispy, served with homemade tartar sauce and malt vinegar. The fries were hot and crispy too. We also enjoyed with a side of Cole slaw. Service was great. Food prices are a bit high, but the food quality and flavor is fantastic

We have been seeing The Fish Grill in Dania Beach for years and have been wanting to stop in for…read moredinner for quite a while. We went in around 7 pm on a weekend night out of season and were seated right away in a booth next to a window and were warmly welcomed by restaurant staff. It can get busier later in the evening and the staff said during season the wait for a table can get long mainly from increased amounts of tourists coming in. We ordered a bottle of wine to start (all ranging between $25 and $30). We ordered a side salad to start (around $3 with purchase of entree). We both ordered the Encrusted Swordfish (around $30). All food was very fresh and flavorful and fish was truly amazing! Service was also warm and welcoming and we look forward to returning!
