    Piña Colada and water location!

Le tub has the best piña coladas I've ever had in my life. I remember it from 7 years ago and had to come back and find the spot to get another one. It did not disappoint. They are the best. They don't use a mix. Then I got a giant lobster BLT sandwich and was super full. Top spot to eat. I can't fathom how this restaurant isn't getting 4.8+ stars on yelp.

Very disappointing and overpriced. We read the reviews and saw the hype about the burgers. Yes, they are HUGE, but that was the only noteworthy thing about them. The seasoning and flavor was nothing special. The fries were cold and lacking. My wife ordered a side of buttered green beans. We couldn't believe they charge $5 for what they were. The kids Mac n cheese was a $10 bowl of kraft mac.

Le Tub remains one of those classic South Florida spots that's worth visiting at least once. The fresh squeeze margaritas were fresh and delicious. I ordered the original burger, requested it medium, it arrived closer to well done. Normally that would be a bigger issue, but the burger was still juicy, flavorful, and enjoyable. The flame-grilled taste really comes through. The unique atmosphere and beautiful waterfront setting create a great experience.

Came for the first time after some friends from Michigan said they enjoyed it on a previous visit. After wrapping up a chill beach day at Haulover, we headed straight here for some much needed grub. I have to admit that I've lived in South Florida my entire life and had never been here before despite several trips to Hollywood beach over the years. If you're into Kitschy spots with relaxed vibes this is def a fun one. The most popular item on the menu is a CHONKY burger, and it definitely did the job. I've had better but it was still good. My favorite thing from what we had was the Frozen Key Lime daquiri - sooo nice I'd def do two next time. Our server was very cool and definitely on top of it. One star off cuz several of the shrimp we had were gunky, but I'm down to go back. This is perfect for an unpretentious beach day.

Awesome ambiance on the water. It's like tiki bar meets seafood shack meets Key West with a certain kind of chaos that makes you want to get a good buzz. The bar is in the back and it's lower than the seats like a swim up bar. The restaurant seems teeny but it actually spans the whole sidewalk by the water and when you go outside it's almost never-ending. The kitchen is the size of a coffee table. We came around 630 and waited an hour for our table and even though we ordered immediately upon seating, the food still took an hour. Bartender was fabulous. Service was also excellent. Our drinks were never empty. The burger is a monstrosity- very good. Blackened mahi sandwich also has a great sauce. Overall winner for me was the steamed shrimp. I could have eaten 2 bowls. Smoked fish dip was also good w the veggies.

Fucking Awesome burger. The size of 2. For a burger joint on the water (may be the best one in Florida), the service is spectacular. For fuck sakes, even the parking attendant is a happy, smiling person, a rarity these days. My server came 6 times just to check if we are happy. Good Job, Jay!

I had an amazing experience here - I was able to get a table by the water at sunset. The server- cannot remember her name- was on top of it and very very friendly. I got the seafood boil and it was soooooooooo good. I think the ambiance alone is worth coming, but this place hit every mark for me.

We have been to Le Tub a few times now for more than a year or so, but after tonight (Saturday, March 21) we won't ever go back again. We went with two of our friends and came in around 7 pm for a table of four for standby seating. We were quoted a time of 45 minutes to an hour for a table and after 90 minutes we were texted saying our table was ready. We went to the hostess stand and were shown a table at the far north end of the restaurant in the parking lot next to a table of 20 kids. It looked like it was a birthday party. We asked the hostess for another table (we walked by at least 6 open tables of four or more) and the hostess said she would check. She came back and said that was the only table available and the open tables were being held for other parties that requested water views. I asked for a manager and I thought the manager would come to me but the hostess showed me to someone that identified themselves as a manager (an African American female, but didn't provide her name). She said that was the only table available at the time and if we wanted another table we would go back on the waitlist and it would be another 30 minutes to wait for another table. When I asked if we could take the table assigned and move in 30 minutes she said that's not possible and it's "owner policy". She said that we couldn't take one of the numerous tables open for "owner policy". I was asking for any help she could provide as we had waited an hour and a half and were loyal repeat customers and the manager said "I think we're done here" and showed us to the door. The hostesses also smirked at us and said "have a blessed night" and laughed as we left. So we took our business to Capone's next door and honestly the food and service were better, and the owner came by and thanked us for our business and shook hands with everyone at our table. I wouldn't come back to Le Tub if they comped our entire check and paid us to dine there. I don't recommend anyone eating here.

The flight arrived late around 10:30pm, and driving to the hotel in the beautiful open air, we passed by music. Made a quick U-turn... yeah, I can already hear you say not a great idea as I fall in behind a cop. lol The sign I saw said Capone's... thankfully that is NOT where we landed ..... the tropical rainforest parking lot I pulled into ended up being a local dive. It turned out to be one of the best mistakes of my trip -- and one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life. For me, that's a massive compliment. This little tropical paradise with the best sunset views on the bay (where you can wear shorts and flip flops) is called Le Tub. Not the greatest name, but don't let that stop you. I say this because it's so enclosed you don't even realize what you're turning into until you're already in it. It feels like a hidden little hideaway. You follow what looks like a footpath, and suddenly you're in the middle of the restaurant. At 11 pm, the staff were amazing and welcoming. The drinks were on point, and the prices were very reasonable for dinner on the water. The place is beachy and comfortable -- looks small at first, but it's actually much bigger (I found that out on a later visit). The music at night is loud, yes, but not so loud you can't talk. It reminded me of WindJammer in Memphis -- 80s/90s music, great vibe. Sitting there by the water, you can almost hear, Sitting on the dock of the bay, just wasting time" playing in the background. The burger was chargrilled and cooked perfectly -- honestly enough to feed two people. The fish dip? You wouldn't even know it had fish in it. Everything I had was 5. We caught a gorgeous sunset over the bay -- one of those moments you just sit back and take in. If you're in Hollywood, FL, go to Le Tub. Grab a burger with Swiss and fries, wear your shorts and flip flops, sit by the water with friends, and enjoy it. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. Unless you're annoyed by music, people, and amazing food. If so, stay away because fun people don't want you there. lol

We saw the post about the "best burger" and decided on one last meal before leaving the area. We found self-parking, which was a huge plus and wandered into some pretty funky decor! Our server, Cia, was great. Drinks were also great. The burger? Good flavor, cooked exactly as ordered, American cheese, sauce on the side as was the lettuce, tomato and onion. It just wasn't the very best burger - not quite up to the hype.

Took the ride circuit to this restaurant around sunset time. Luckily, for 4 people we didn't have to wait to be seated. We had heard many great reviews since moving to Broward so we decided to finally check it out. Super cute outdoor seating with great views. I ordered the burger with pickles for my entree. For my appetizer, I started off with a smoked fish dip which was ok. We also got a round of white tea shots, delicious! I would definitely come back and probably try some brunch items.

We went to Le Tub as part of a food tour and it's a short walk from the Broadwalk but worth it. The ambiance is quirky, fun and inviting and right on the intercoastal water. Watch the boats go by and we saw a manatee Which was a great! Because we were on a food tour we only got the fish dip, which was excellent. The service was great, very warm and friendly. I want to go back and try their burger, which is what they are known for.

Unfortunately, I will never know if any of it actually tastes good. I have a nut allergy, the kind that in 25 years of living and ice cream in 30+ countries has never once stopped me from ordering. I asked about a specific flavor, was told it contained no nuts, and then was promptly informed I could not order it due to my allergy. After some back and forth I was told the only flavor I could order was vanilla :( I appreciate caution around allergies, I truly do. But most establishments handle this with a standard cross-contamination warning and let the adult with the allergy make an informed decision. As someone who has worked in an ice cream shop (without a problem) it makes me question their food handling and cleanliness... I left without ordering anything. But everyone around seemed to be enjoying the $9 scoops of what I can only assume were life-changing flavors The place looks great. I hope they revisit how they handle allergy disclosures, because I genuinely wanted to love it and I'd like the chance to actually try it someday.

We've seen their sign for a couple of years now on Federal heading north between Hollywood and…read moreSheridan. The name never landed with us as it sounded like a standalone food court. It was the sign underneath that read, "Too tired to cook today?" that made us take notice. Looking at the online menu we found that it was not only a who's who of Latin dishes of different nationalities, but they also served bar fare - chicken wings, burgers, quesadillas, etc. Not knowing what their specialty was, we never committed to it. But today was one of those days where we felt like something different and we took a chance. The gamble paid off big. The menu was all over the place, so not knowing what direction to go in, I addressed the waiter who was all too ready to help. He pointed me to some of his faves: the Bandeja Paisa, Lomo Saltado, and Ropa Vieja. I'd had my eye on the Lomo Saltado, a popular Peruvian stir fry dish. The Bandeja Paisa is Colombian, and the Ropa Vieja - Cuban. I asked him what the nationality of the ownership was, when he revealed it was Colombian. I was immediately skeptical of ordering the ropa vieja - being half Cuban, I could not fathom the idea of a Colombian-owned restaurant pulling this off. So Joe took one for the team there. The waiter assured me that everything he has tried has in fact been delectable. But hey, what else is he supposed to say? But no, he assured me these were not marketing words, but words of experience. So I went for the Lomo Saltado which was served with black beans and rice, and french fries. He didn't hesitate to vouch for the black beans... I think he sensed my Colombian skepticism. Joe had replaced his fries for sweet plantains, so I took his cue and substituted my fries for tostones. But, not before warning the waiter that I would be particularly particular about the quality of my favorite plantain dish. He gave me a confident nod - so I played along. Joe's dish came out a few seconds before mine, and being the impatient carnivore that I am, I (let's say borrowed) his ropa vieja before he had a chance to pick up his fork. I was very pleasantly surprised. On par with any old clothes I have tried at any Cuban restaurant... and even better than some, albeit in longer strands than I've experienced. However, extremely juicy, full of flavor and tender. Then came my Lomo. I'm a first-timer, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was fan-tastic. A bit charred outside with a juicy medium innard that cuts like butter, and to my relief, deceivingly tender. The lomo napped on a bed of sautée-charred veggies whose sweetness was a nicely balanced contrast to the savory meat. The black beans were definitely on point and seasoned with Colombian love. And those ten-ton-tostones!!! By far the thickest fried medallions I've had, but with a brutally loud crunch and still a real easy chew. And unlike John Travolta in a black T-Bird jacket, totally Greaseless. Often times, tostones of this variety are tough and as chewable as week-old yellow paper mache. Nope, these are some of the best tostones I've had in a couple of years. But by far the best of their kind. I also borrowed one of Joe's sweet plantations which once again left no trace of greased lightning and were rendered a perfect dark brown with a nice and plush sunshine yellow inside. The portions were more than generous and the price was comfortably modest. I expressed my deepest gratitude to our waiter for his patience and his spot on recommendations. He also swore by their burger which he had just sampled for the first time and which is made partly with Colombian chorizo and served with a side of chimichurri. Chorizo and chimichurri for little cha-ching.... I'm sure I'll be chowing on that real soon. Food Corner is a cornucopia of Latin influences, and so far, it's also a master of two of them. (We were too excited to take photos)

We went in around 7 pm on a weekend night out of season and were seated right away in a booth next to a window and were warmly welcomed by restaurant staff. It can get busier later in the evening and the staff said during season the wait for a table can get long mainly from increased amounts of tourists coming in. We ordered a bottle of wine to start (all ranging between $25 and $30). We ordered a side salad to start (around $3 with purchase of entree). We both ordered the Encrusted Swordfish (around $30). All food was very fresh and flavorful and fish was truly amazing! Service was also warm and welcoming and we look forward to returning!

The Fish Grill has been in business for many years. and rightly so! Its very relaxed, the atmosphere is chill and the staff is awesome. It's a casual and straight forward fresh fish, fresh seafood, chicken, burgers, salads, subs etc. - almost everything is on the menu! CLAM CHOWDER - $5.95 cup -This is not your regular NE clam chowder. As chowder snobs from RI/MA, we are incredibly picky. it was not white but a light coffee color and was DELICIOUS!!!! The potatoes were cooked perfectly, clams chewy but not rubbery, celery cooked to perfection. We both ate ours and licked the spoon clean! The broth was so clean tasting with milk and something else- i don't know but I would go back just for the soup!!! SHRIMP COCKTAIL -$15.95 -Large Gulf shrimp, served chilled with lemon and our own house-made cocktail sauce. Good sized shrimp, good cocktail sauce, nice presentation but shrimp completely bland and tasteless. they did not add salt or spices to the water which made them not worth the money. we would NOT order those again. All entrees Served with French Fries, Cole Slaw, Pasta Salad, Rice Pilaf or Vegetable Du Jour. Add a cup of soup or salad 3.95 FRESH SEA SCALLOPS (FRIED, BROILED OR PAN SEARED) -30.95 Extra large northern deep and cold water fresh sea scallops, tender and succulent. We had them pan seared in butter and lemon and they were OUTSTANDING!!!!! Perfectly cooked, flavorful, you could taste the freshness. We split the dish and there are some of the largest scallops I have gotten in a restaurant. Sorry for the picture of the few scallops left, but we basically snarfed them. We were happy and full. We will definitely be back as they offer fresh calamari soaked in buttermilk then lightly fried, fried whole belly clams, raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, crab cakes and more we want to try. Out of the 20 or so people having lunch , most people had big juicy hamburgers, or massive salads, or fish sandwiches - all of which looked delicious. Definitely give them a try - you will NOT be disappointed.
