Sadly, many of the ones the DO have are not sufficiently trained -- although they are very nice people. Case in point: Today I was sent a Western Union transfer of cash. I went to Walgreen's. What a waste of my time. The computer screen was not adjusted properly. It was slanted far down as if a child was using it and could NOT be tilted upward. In addition, the touch keyboard often would not register what I attempted to enter -- sometimes as much as 20 paced attempts. Finally, I asked for help -- yet again -- from the Walgreen's employee who had first started helping me then kept leaving leaving to do something else. She didn't know what she was doing and bumped me out of what I had just spent 30 grueling minutes attempting to do!!!! A different store employee whispered, "You can go next door to Albertson's. They have someone trained who will do it for you." We went to Albertson's across the street and the wonderfully trained woman in customer service handled it in 4 minutes. Wow!!!! Also, Walgreen's closed their pharmacy. I will be very surprised -- unless Walgreen's improves how they are doing business and increases customer service -- they will be closing their doors entirely. If that happens, it will be a shame.

Bless their hearts, they also sell organic orange cherry tomatoes well into the winter when no one else does and they taste wonderful!!! Because the grocery store is primarily conventional, I shop here very carefully. My husband and I only eat organic food and I don't want to mistakenly purchase something I think is organic and drive home with it only to find out that it is conventional. I don't shop in any other part of this really huge store but I do value the grocery section. They have an excellent selection of artisan cheese, olives, and lots of other things that are pretty hard to get up here in Southern Oregon. I find that the people who work here are consistently very warm and friendly, which I very much appreciate. It makes doing my errands is a great deal more pleasurable. And, I also really appreciate that I get points for what I purchase in the grocery section which we apply to purchasing gas at Freddy's. My husband says that Costco and Fred Meyers have the most competitive prices for gas consistently so that's where we buy our gas Thank you very much for all that you do. Please keep doing it!!!

Then because you don't have time to wait you leave and call the next day and ask them to please have it ready for the next day. When you show up they will tell you that it's still not ready and when you ask why it's not ready after all of this hassle you may get the "millennial stare." The person helping you may say "So.. do you want us to fill it while you wait?" No. I want to know why it isn't ready. I want some accountability. What happened? "Uhh.... I don't know, but do you want to wait while we fill it....?" 0 stars. Absolutely ridiculous.

Here I am at least 3 months out and they continue put in to fill old prescriptions and so it blocked my new pharmacy with my insurance company. I don't know what else to do. I have continued to let them know that I am no longer using them. My doctors office has confirmed that they have not sent anything to them in months either, so west main just continues to fill prescriptions that they have not been asked to fill in the meantime I am spending time trying to let my insurance know that I don't want to use that pharmacy. Now we are done and have switched to other pharmacies preferred by our insurance. Our most recent example of their unacceptable performance: had a new prescription sent to them from my provider on 4/7/26. Followed up with the pharmacy multiple times until 4/17/26 when we were told that the provider cancelled the order. This was incorrect! Called provider and asked for prescription to be rerouted to Costco. Costco staff was extremely polite, competent, and efficient and the prescription was filled within 1 hour. This is just one example of many. We will not be returning to Walgreens Central Point. We do not recommend this pharmacy. Zero stars would be the appropriate rating level.

They will tell her a day to pick up her meds that have already been approved, then tell her to bring an approval letter because she needed a "PA" when it was already approved, so they just let it sit for 5+ days even though it was already approved by insurance. They told her a specific day, (today) then told her to "come back tomorrow we do not have it", but already had a refill marked online. They are, quite frankly stupid and don't understand how to do their job. We've had many mishaps with them. The only person trustworthy and worthwhile is the elderly guy in the back. They even used to be one of the best pharmacies, but with new owners and new staffs it's absolutely horrific.
