Very knowledgeable about blinds and designs. Changed my new home into a showplace. I couldn't be happier! Fast and efficient installers.

YHE actually should stand for Your Home Exploiter…read more I have only one regret in this life, and that is letting this company into my home. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. We used 3 Day Blinds a few years ago and were satisfied with their product and service. However,…read morethings have changed. Our salesperson came out twice and was very kind and patient while we made our final decision on the $2K purchase. We signed the contract on April 8th and paid the deposit. Our credit card was charged 2 days later on April 10th (for the balance due), and we received our blinds a week later on April 17th. This is in direct violation of their contract which states they will not take the final payment until we schedule the installation. Now to the blinds themselves - we do like them but had some issues with one of them. Not a huge deal, BUT a problem regardless. Their customer service is a big zero - they are obviously trained to dispute any issues you must have. So, when you are told "100% satisfaction guaranteed" - it's not going to happen. We recommend someone else - anybody but this company. BTW - the blinds are "Hunter Douglas" brand which is sold by several vendors including Home Depot.

I was never told that these didn't have any hardware, and I was unaware that you have to pull to lock / unlock the blind. This makes it extremely hard to line up the slats of the blinds... I'm sitting here spending all this time trying to tug and line them up. On top of this, the lengths of the blinds are wrong so to completely close them so people can't see in, they have to extend passed the bottom of our window onto the window seal where they flop outwards which separated the blind. Last but not least, the blinds don't fully stretch across my windows. Half the blind is against the window while the other half pops outwards. I'm so furious and upset about this! I wish I could get my money back. This has been the worst experience and if you are reading my review I suggest you stay far away from this company! The service, installation, and quality of product is not good!

She listened to what we wanted and tailored options to what we said our goals were. She listened to our price range and gave us good options without breaking the bank. Most of all, she has very good taste and helped us choose treatments that make the house look great. Communication after the initial sale was excellent. We were informed when measurements would occur and when our treatments were shipped. Vincent arrived early for installation and was extremely efficient in getting the treatments installed in a short period of time. He was very friendly yet professional and knowledgeable. Overall, this is a first class operation with exceptional service. We love our new treatments. We probably need to get some for a couple of other windows so we will return to Stoneside without a doubt.

Reached out to the company and was assured it was still under warranty and they'll have someone come out to fix it however, they require a $250 service charge via check which I issued when they arrived. They came and said some parts were needed and they'll come back to fix it. They came back and said it wasn't repairable. Called the office to ask what next and was told the damage was caused by wind therefore, is not covered by warranty. I asked how they knew it was a wind damage as this seems like an assumption and excuse to not fix the damage. The lady I spoke to, can't remember her name. Maybe Jennifer chuckled and said " well I don't know what else could have caused this damage. You're not supposed to have the blinds down because it can't withstand wind more than 25mph". Excuse me??? First of all, we weren't told this. We were told this was a weather resistant blind and how on earth am I supposed to have blinds and expected to keep it up at all times? What is the purpose of the blinds then??? I told her we only keep it down at night and she said, "well, that's when you get the most wind". When else am I supposed to keep the blinds down? During the day when we're sitting in the patio? Or keep it up when it's raining and storming??? These are the times we need the blinds to protect our outdoor furniture and electronics! She did not seem to care at all and said all she could do was give me a quote for a brand new install! Haven't heard back from them since then and they never refunded my $250 either! Very terrible and deceptive company. I'll stay FAR AWAY!!!!

THIS COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANTY THEIR PRODUCT! I have used Classic Home Dallas for my entire house…read moreand never had a problem until I have needed to get a repair for something under warranty. I have both shutters and electronic blinds - all from Classic Homes Dallas. One of my electronic blinds stopped working back in August. I was still within my warranty period so reached out to the company to get my shade repaired. I have been mostly speaking with Jennifer. Over the past 3 months, I have heard every excuse to why my repair is taking so long, ie: we changed our systems, cannot find your original order, the company we used for these shades went out of business, the staff in our office quit (yet again - I think like twice now), we cannot find a motor, we are looking for a separate remote, and the latest, we found a motor and cannot seem to locate the hardware! Every excuse made it seem like it was MY FAULT! And when I asked to speak with the owner, Rick, well, he seems to be on vacation quite often. It took less time to get these ordered and installed the first time than to get 1 simple motor replaced. At this point (after 3 months), a new motor should have been ordered and installed - that would have been the right thing to do since it is under warranty. Not offer to give me a pieced together model that may not hold up! Needless to say, my patience has worn out and on top of it, I have a shade that has been hanging down for 3 months - unable to roll up or roll down!! Not great when it is the back of your house in the hot summer when the sun is going down! Every week that I have spoken with Jennifer, there is a new excuse! And at the end of it all, I still have a broken shade that is under warranty. I am just starting the review/complaint process here and will be making a more formal complaint against this company since I am losing all hope that anything will be done. Just thought I would share my experience for those that are shopping for shades! Product looks great, but you better hope something does not go wrong! Still hopeful that Classic Homes Dallas will do the right thing, but since I am at the 3-month mark, I might just be fooling myself and not dealing with reality!
