The worst customer service ever. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Worst product. They have been out 3 times

We used 3 Day Blinds a few years ago and were satisfied with their product and service. However, things have changed. Our salesperson came out twice and was very kind and patient while we made our final decision on the $2K purchase. We signed the contract on April 8th and paid the deposit. Our credit card was charged 2 days later on April 10th (for the balance due), and we received our blinds a week later on April 17th. This is in direct violation of their contract which states they will not take the final payment until we schedule the installation. Now to the blinds themselves - we do like them but had some issues with one of them. Not a huge deal, BUT a problem regardless. Their customer service is a big zero - they are obviously trained to dispute any issues you must have. So, when you are told "100% satisfaction guaranteed" - it's not going to happen. We recommend someone else - anybody but this company. BTW - the blinds are "Hunter Douglas" brand which is sold by several vendors including Home Depot. read more

I am beyond disappointed after the install from 3 Day Blinds. We wanted the duel roller shades that allow partial light and then blackout and we wanted to be able to pull them down on our own as motorized isn't in our budget. I was never told that these didn't have any hardware, and I was unaware that you have to pull to lock / unlock the blind. This makes it extremely hard to line up the slats of the blinds... I'm sitting here spending all this time trying to tug and line them up. On top of this, the lengths of the blinds are wrong so to completely close them so people can't see in, they have to extend passed the bottom of our window onto the window seal where they flop outwards which separated the blind. Last but not least, the blinds don't fully stretch across my windows. Half the blind is against the window while the other half pops outwards. I'm so furious and upset about this! I wish I could get my money back. This has been the worst experience and if you are reading my review I suggest you stay far away from this company! Here to add to my review that this company just keeps getting worse and worse. We requested to have the designer out to show us valance samples, because what was installed did not look like what we recalled ordering. Upon reviewing the samples, it was clear that although the product was labelled as what we ordered, the color was clearly a different shade. This was strike two against production as our valances were gapping, crooked, and crafted horribly. Our designer told us that she would have the contract to us in an hour and a half...I didn't get it until TWO days later after having to text our designer and email customer service. We were told our new valances would arrive 3/11, however they did not arrive until almost a week after that, and we were given NO communication from 3 Day Blinds on the matter. Upon this second installation, the valances were yet again gapping, peeling, and crooked. Clearly this company has no integrity in their production. I have been emailing with customer service, where they are trying to say they will correct the valances, but quite frankly I have NO trust in their ability to make a quality product. This is our FIFTH MONTH of having to work on this project with them because of their lack of communication and low quality price tag. The cost of this project was immense, and this company is nothing but a let down. Absolutely the worst customer service ever! We ordered $2,600 of faux wood blinds. It would take me writing a book to explain the lengthy list of my complaints, from the sales rep never returning my call, to asking for a manager to speak with . . . oh, the customer can't talk to a manager! We had an unfortunate experience with 3 day blinds, shade installation service. Upon installation, we observed that the shades had frayed edges. A company representative, Terri, visited and agreed that the shades were not made correctly, promising replacement. However, the new shades installed had cutting errors. Despite our complaints, the company is not honoring the warranty as expected, instead offering to reinstall either set of defective shades. We believe a refund is in order, given the inconvenience and subpar service. They will not refund us or make it right. Do NOT 3 day blinds! read more

Ordered blinds for 8 windows. The installer could only install 5 of the 8 windows. Three of the windows were measured incorrectly. The designer/sales lady AND the installer measured the windows and both of them were wrong. The new shades finally came in. I have a confirmation email for the install to be Saturday, May 17th between 9am & 1pm. My bf took time off to be available for the install as I had to work. No SHOW and no call. I'm literally on the phone now trying to contact 3-Day Blinds and been on hold for 25 mins. Still waiting. read more

Zero stars .. I spent 30,000 on blinds for The entire house . I got convinced to Not to do electric but to switch to charge battery and you will only need to charge once a year max .. that. Was a lie I have to charge them 4 to 5 a year and my windows are not easy.. some Windows I don't even use the blinds need to be recharged in a few months ? Customer service is bad .. takes them a month to address issues they have switched out motors twice and still horrible My rep was very friendly and helpful but everything else was bad experience.. I would never use this company again! The first time they sent an installer with the wrong equipment to fix the blind. He also told me they should have informed me that they no longer make this blind!@ I then contacted them for a full refund as I paid 139 for nothing! Instead, they set up an appt. with another installer with 'the correct equipment". So, we scheduled for this Sat. 2- 6. The person NEVER showed up or called. I, meanwhlle stayed at home, waiting for them. When I tried to call 3day blinds, they are closed for the weekend. When I tried to reach Rayline installers (who left a message conveniently without their phone no. ). I found a number for them but it did not work! I am totally unhappy with 3 day blinds and I would suggest you steer clear, based on this experience. read more

This company is HORRIBLE!! I spent $11k on blinds and curtains for 4 rooms. Unfortunately I trusted the advice of the supposed design consultant. I waited more than six weeks for the installation.. I was so excited about the supposed results only to be totally let down about the look and quality! I was told i got motorized, but got manual lift.. of which don't easily lift at all! The curtains placement was so high and off center..It seriously looked ridiculous..even the installer commented about it and took pictures and said he would "let the manager know" and I would get a call to follow up. Worst part is when I expressed my concerns, all I got was a reminder of " that is what you picked" and "oh you should have looked at the photos on our instagram page".. what!?! If I'm paying 11k I expect the consultant to at least have some interior design expertise. It looks so horrible I'll be taking them down myself tomorrow. Our experience with 3day blinds and Rayline (installer) was very satisfying. Dana presented various samples and demonstrated knowledge about the products. Her suggestions for our living and dining area were valuable. After a quick measurement, she provided a quote, and the final price, after discounts, was completely doable, which played a significant role in our decision to sign the contract. The installation process was spot on the timeline Dana gave us. Rayline called us to schedule an installation appointment, and I managed to secure a Saturday slot when I was available, as I work on weekdays. Chansey, the installer, performed the installation to our liking and gave us a demo on how to use it. Currently, we are happy with our purchase, and I would definitely consider Rayline again for future installations. read more

I was gonna write every detail but this is really what I have to say. This company is expensive and the name is misleading. My shades took 6 weeks to complete and get installed. This company has dreadful customer service!! There is zero sense of ownership, a bunch of excuses and lack of empathy for the added time it takes to get their products installed. My drapes are over 9 weeks out and when they did come finally to hang them, all the hardware was missing from the rods. There were no brackets, no end caps and the screws that were sent were too short. Calling to get a resolution was/is very frustrating and it feels as if no one cares if you are satisfied with the process. I currently have large boxes of drapes sitting on the floor with no idea on when they will be installed. As a consumer, this is completely unprofessional but the worst part is that they don't seem to care about it. This is not a good investment of your money or time. read more

BAD COMPANY!! We ordered some motorized inside mount blinds and when they came and were installed the wands did not lay flat on the wall and they did not hang evenly. The installer said he couldn't adjust them I would have to submit a request for repair. I did. They sent the same guy who again said they could not be adjusted. So, I called again and requested adjustment or return and they sent the same guy who again said they could not be adjusted. So I called again and requested they come and take them down. Their response was: (NONE OF THEIR INSIDE MOUNT BLINDS CAN BE ADJUSTED) and they would not issue a refund.. This should have been stated at the very beginning. THEY WOULD NOT TAKE THEM BACK. They would replace with a different product of same value and that was the only solution. The cancellation policy states cancel only 3 days from order placement NO MATTER WHAT PRODUCT YOU GET IT CANNOT BE RETURNED NO MATTER WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. Horrible policy and not customer oriented at all. I will never order anything from them again and WARN YOU NOT TO EITHER. read more

This is supposed to be an inexpensive solution to window coverings, but I would label it a frustrating experience to expensive solution to window coverings. Getting someone to your home is easy and the consultant is knowledgeable. So far so good. The rest is a series of surprises all with one-way texts. You call an 800 number that does not respond and they do not call back. In fact, the last text they sent was to let me know was to remind me of the installation with a four hour window and the last sentence says, "If you have any questions, please call Rayline Installations Texas at ." No number is provided on the message nor online. I have been calling them for 2 days and today is Saturday so they tell me to call on Monday. I spared you the surprise message regarding moving furniture, which was never discussed in the sales conversation. They take your money, and then it is between you and a one-way text. 3 Day Blinds may do a good job. I do not know, but RAYLINE INSTALLATION TEXAS, is frustrating at best. I will later review value with exact cost, and quality. I'm already sorry that I invested several thousand dollars with 3-DAY. If this how they treat customers, I would say they need different installers who respond to their 800 number calls or two-way texts. The sales person was very nice, competent, and easy to talk with. A rep came out to measure & it couldn't have been an easier process...until I got the blinds. Half were measured incorrectly. Two were for French doors and they stuck out crooked because the door knob hadn't been figured in. Another blind was supposed to have been an inside mount but wasn't. Also, the wand lengths were mismatched. That said, the quality is shockingly cheap and not worth half the price, even with in-home service. read more

Called for service on a blind that fell down while trying to lift it up . They gave us the run around for a month and half and finally said they cannot do it because the warranty doesn't apply to the damaged top rail ( which got damaged by the fall). They could have said that when we first called . Instead, they waited month and a half and after numerous calls to tell us that. Very poor customer service. So much for their lifetime warranty. My wife just paid just under 6k to have cordless cellular shades installed by 3 day blinds. 6 windows total. 3ea 2'x70 inches, 2ea 2'x60 inches and 60 inch by 60 inch. The total was just under 6k. She paid 50 percent deposit. I heard the amount she paid and thought that's steep thinking the deposit was the full amount. Any other brand cost less than what was paid as a deposit. The blinds are typ quality, nothing special. I called the rep and no answer. He texted later and said the price was correct. I was so upset that I wanted to tear them down and put them in the trash just to make me feel better. I know tat doesn't make sense, but that is how upset I am. One shade was damaged and I was told it will be replaced. I hope no person has to deal with this and my point is buyer beware. 3 days has turned into 3 months! We had 12 blinds installed at a hefty price. Service is horrible. Still waiting on a reinstall due to bad quality on a motor and another due to a bad fabric cut. Have called multiple time and customer service is horrible. Terri the design consultant is not even bothering to return calls. They cancelled my reinstall again. Still waiting. Had to pick different fabric since they had an 8 month back order. At this rate I could've waited for the original fabric to be back in stock. No one cares when you call. I will never use them again. I spent $3,000 dollars on roller shades. When they installed them, they left the hardware showing on 3 of the 4 windows due to them not taking accurate measurements on my window frames. After acknowledging the issue (in writing) and offering me what they called solutions (me paying for more product or hiring a handyman at my expense), they basically told me it wasn't their problem and that was all they could offer me. I spent $6000 on blinds. The installer put up one set but refused to put up the other set because he would've had to move chairs approximately 8 inches. The sales person told me they would move a set of drapes for me if I purchased the blinds and the installer refused to do it. It would've taken less than a minute. The people in charge of follow-through clearly aren't worried about about ever selling blinds again. I canceled my order for two additional sets. read more

Rayline texted me with a date/time that won't work and it's been four days, 6 phone calls with no response! I've called 3 Day 800 # and I've called Rayline. I've already asked for a refund. I guess they are called 3 day blinds because that is how quickly their product breaks. We had our blinds for 2 weeks and one broke, a technician came out to change the solar panels, told us the motor is probably broken and someone will reach out to us after 3 days. No one reached out. So we called customer service, they escalated our case, but we still have no response for over a week. NOW a second blind has stopped working and we are still being ignored. I recently met with a 3 Day Blinds rep and she helped me select Roller Shades for a rental condominium that I own. I was very pleased with the experience / transaction. Things fell apart with the installation by Rayline - and this seems to be a common theme in the reviews that I'm seeing for this company. Like the cable company of old, the installation appointment with Rayline calls for a time frame that completely disrespects customers' schedules - 4 hours! This is a particular challenge in this case as the condominium is vacant. After installation, the Roller Shades look great but almost every one of them goes up and down very poorly, pulling toward the side where the pull cable is installed which could result in wrinkling of the shade over time. I called to schedule a repair and - YEP - another 4 hour window. This is the only vendor I've used in years that expected a customer to accept that length of window - other vendors have figured out how to manage time / staff routing better in order to stay in business. I will never ever use 3 Day Blinds again while they use Rayline as their installer. read more

More like 3 week blinds. Don't pay the salesman cause that is the last you will hear from him and everything will be deferred to the "installation guy" who's is a 3rd party provider. They give sales pitch about not being franchise. Well I don't understand how. And they mess up my blinds after we had to wait for installer to verify sizes. And they were still wrong. Now it's been 10 days and still no replacement for my bedroom windows. Just go thru Home Depot. Cause it will be a 1/3 of the price. And 1/3 the hassle. Update to previous review. Called corporate and griped. Yesenia made it sound like real customer service. So the corporate handled it well and got next scheduled. But then to not even receive one call or email from the sales guy in the Dallas area or the manager of the Dallas area. Gives me 0 faith in this company. I placed an order for blinds and drapes for my Master bedroom costing over $5000. I assumed--incorrectly that I would receive a commensurate level of service. My merchandise has been 'in at the warehouse' but this company cannot get its act together to schedule the installation (which should have been completed over a week ago). I called the sales rep, then sent two separate texts and called again before I spoke to her. Her explanation for not responding to my other calls and texts was that 'Monday was my day off' never mind that the other texts and calls were not on Monday. She also suggested that I call the 1800 number on her card. I thought that was odd, given that she was the one who I had met with and who happily took over 50% as a deposit. When I called the call center, they were not able to schedule my installation because the 'hold time with the installer was too long'. What!?! I called again today, but was told that the installer was closed and that they could not schedule my installation but I was 'welcome to call again on Monday'. I'm an executive at s multinational corporation, sadly chasing the installation of window treatments is not a priority during my workday-- which is why I happily paid what I considered to be an exhorbitant amount of money for these window treatments for my master. I had expected to have a level of service that would make the cost be worth it. I'm sorely disappointed I was contacted by Three Day Blinds CustomerCare and I had hoped that I would actually get an installation appointment scheduled. However after sending an email and following with 2 separate phone calls, still no success. My only remedy is to contact my credit card company and dispute the transaction for the deposit since I've paid for merchandise that I've given up hope of ever receiving. read more

Measurements from our sales representative, Gail Mastrogiovanni, were completely wrong. we had to be requoted. With the new, higher price (bait and switch anyone), we no longer wanted to pay for the install in order to keep price as close to par as possible. 7/26 -Notified roller shade was on back order. Back order ship date was due on 8/8... new email saying that was pushed again to 8/17. 8/15 ish- Blinds were delivered I did the install no problem at all. All you need is a power drill, don't pay for the install. 9/1 - Still no roller shade, was informed they no longer make that color and Gail would have to come back out to order a new color for us. 9/15 - New color ordered and going through install company at reduced rate for our inconvenience. Rayline is impossible to get a hold of to schedule. They have canceled on us day of 3 seperate timed after I've already taken off work to be home. 10/31 - Still no roller shade calling to cancel order and cannot as 3day already shipped product to Rayline and "it is out of their hands". *One positive note.... Trevor, and installer from Rayline was EXTREMELY helpful and empathetic and that guy needs to get a promotion to sales or something. **Leadership at 3 days was difficult to get in touch with but once I did they did a fantastic job expediting the install and trying to make things right. Very sadly I write this review of this company. I was excited to work with them as urgency was needed for our new home. The designer rep was wonderful, and we enjoyed working with her on our plan. Unfortunately, the rest of the project has been a dismal experience. It is now October, and we are still working on the dysfunctional shades. This has been going on since May. The 3 day claim is not accurate marketing for this company. The timing, online/phone customer care reps are not helpful, the installers are confused/crabby, and the blinds just aren't working right for the money spent. The saving grace in all this is the region manager. She is taking the feedback and trying to troubleshoot. You must have patience with this company as they have many system dilemmas. read more

I was very disappointed with their customer service. I booked an appointment at a location other than my home and my husband and I took time off work and were there 1/2 hour early to make sure we didn't make the consultant wait. We waited over the 1 hour from the scheduled time (total over 1 1/2 hours) and since we didn't hear from the consultant, I called to ask if she was on her way. She didn't answer her phone so I called the 800# to ask if the consultant was on her way. The customer service rep didn't know and contacted the consultant. The consultant's only answer was that she was delayed and would be on her way in another hour. Given that my husband and I took off work to be at the agreed upon location, we were not able to wait any longer. It appears that the consultant could not bother to let us know what was happening and just expected us to be there whenever she showed up. read more

Flat out liars you can never reach when trying to call. We wanted blinds to match what we have, so we used them. They said 2-4 weeks, 50% down and 50% when installed. 2 weeks later my husbands account had the remaining 50% withdrawn with no notice. Said they'd refund so he could use the card intended, but that never happened. Got an install appointment that also never happened. 1st told blinds were in MN, then after we still heard nothing we called and were told they were lost and had to be reordered. It's been 4 weeks and we've again heard nothing. No response to email and of course they close at 5pm. Majority of the time when we call we can't get an answer and the salesman of course knows nothing. What do they care? They have the money and we have nothing. read more

We ordered over $10,500 in automated blinds for our home. The process/installation was initially proposed to take 10 days and I paid an extra $280 for expedited installation services. After the order was confirmed, the installation company came out the next business day to confirm measurements for our custom product. I was told they would be in touch in the next 3 days to provide our actual install date which would be no later than March 21st (exactly 10 days from our order date which was proposed in our sales bid). 3 days past, and I never heard from them. It was March 21st and I still had not heard from anyone. When I called the installation company for an update, they stated 3 Day Blinds had not "released the order" and they could not provide an install date until it was released. They could not provide any more info. I reached out to our sales rep, Victoria Bixler, to ask for an update, and to request for my expedited fee to be reimbursed. 24 hours later, the reason I was given for the delay, was an additional signature was needed on their contract (after the remeasurement). This was the hold-up and once I signed this revised contract with updated measurements, they could release the order. Negligence and just poor effort. Finally, on April 3, my blinds were finally installed. We were told all automated machines would be fully charged, however; upon review, 3/12 machines had low battery, including one that was installed in a vaulted area that requires a specialty ladder to access. For over $10,500 in product I expected fully charged products. Very frustrating after all the delays. I will not do business with this company again. read more
