Nothing will ever satisfy my craving for the pinnacle of culinary perfection that I have experienced here. I will forever be chasing that first glorious bite....the sudden rush of dopamine brought on by the absolute perfect balance in every dish. I will wander this Earth in nothing but disappointment of every bite of mere bland....unassuming sustenance from this day forth. The rib....get the RIB. Lobster toast....get the damn lobster toast. Skip the potatoes. Get the damn pecan pie. How dare you Chef Austin.....how dare you. Sincerely. The saddest happy customer ever.

WOW! This restaurant blew me away! The quality and uniqueness of the menu and food was top notch…read more The service was very attentive and impeccable. The server told us about the chef and how the restaurant is named after his daughter. The decor was very modern and the ambience was romantic. The Korean butter poached crab was so flavorful. The ahi tuna sushi pizza was light and tangy. The cauliflower was saucy and mouth watering. The Ora king salmon was the best! The fish was flaky and the tom kha broth was a great complement and added a rich flavor. The blueberry cobbler was warm and flaky. My only issue with the menu is that there was too much citrus. It seemed like everything had lemon zest. The portion sizes were very decent and great for sharing. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

They warm up the table with this amazing cornbread & hot rolls Today I had the fried catfish with fries and coleslaw. It was deliciously light & flaky but so filling I only ate 1 filet. The coleslaw was the best I've ever had! Ever! And I don't normally eat/like hush puppies but I always try and thumbs up; different from what I've tried in years past. My husband had the chicken fried steak with okra & mashed potatoes which I got a 'it was good' response which really means... he ate all of it with no complaints. Lol very rare to get a 'fantastic' or 'delicious' outta him. There are no booths, which is my preferred dining experience but we're not here for the comfort! The table was a little wobbly but I didn't care, I love staring at the pie shelf while dining! Nicely country style decorum. Great food delivered quickly with a smile! prices are inline with the quality/quantity! Thank you! Happy New Year!

An appetizer main and dessert We got served some fresh cornbread and dinner rolls and also had fried pickles and hot wings. Then we had the chicken fried chicken and different sides. Finally we had banana pie and coconut pie as dessert. I know we ordered lots of fried food and it was good. The pies were not good. The banana was all brown and the coconut time was so thick and not good at all. I will go back if I visited the town again

You get your choice of sides and tater tots are a yummy option. The coleslaw is crunchy and creamy and the fish is to die for, you get three big giant battered white fish filets and it's plenty for two or three depending on your appetite. The shrimp cocktail sauce reminds me of my all time favorite Pete's Fish-n-Chips sauce back home (an institution in Phoenix) now I wish Woodson's had some fried shrimp too. We will be back again next week if we don't make it to our church fish fry!

I initially thought it was related to the Fielding's restaurants in the Woodlands area but it has no relation. It's basically a sports bar with a kitchen, but apparently a big kitchen because they have a good size menu of burgers, sandwiches, comfort food, seafood, Italian food, salads, apps, pricy desserts, egg rolls, mac and cheeses, wings, and a healthy list of draft beers. I came in for the burger since I had read it was formerly a tri-blend of my 3 fav combinations of beef on a burger: chuck, brisket and short rib. I'm not sure if they're still doing the blended beef because the patty didn't taste like any previously blended burgers I've had before. When I ordered the burger it came out to my table about 4 minutes later. Not sure how they can pull this off for a patty that's 1/2 lb. At home it takes me at least 8 minutes. I went with the Texan specialty burger. This burger wasn't that good and was one that tasted best upon first bite, then progressively got worse as you eat more of it. I didn't finish it and eventually peeled off a lot of ingredients and bun by the end. They have a nice atmosphere, but I would try another menu item next time. I will likely visit the location closer to my house in Spring next time.

There was live music playing outside, but we chose to sit indoors that day. The hostess opened the front door right away to show us inside. My wife ordered the blackened flounder with two sides, southern green beans and the sweet potato cakes, because the server recommended it. I also went with the server's suggestions and ordered the Wagyu chicken fried steak with bacon jalapeno mac-n-cheese and jalapeno cream corn. It might not have been the healthiest choice, but I wanted to enjoy the evening. lol My wife really liked the blackened flounder. The green beans were a bit more overcooked than she liked, though. The chicken fried steak was outstanding and very tender. I liked that the delicious gravy came on the side so the steak stayed crispy. The sides were also outstanding. The GM (Glen, sp?) came to say hello because it was our first time there. I told him everything was wonderful and that we would come back. When we left, the hostess opened the door for us again without missing a beat. Great food, great service, and a lively atmosphere.

We were told by the friendly hostess that the wait for a table would be about 30-40 minutes. So I sat and waited for the rest of my party to arrive. The wait only ended up being 15 minutes (good thing I didn't leave) My table was close to the front entrance and a huge party (that should have just reserved a private room if you ask me) I felt like I was a wedding crasher. The waiters were busy trying to accommodate everyone by moving tables around and I had strangers standing all around me waiting for their table to be set. So that wasn't enjoyable for me. I ordered an appetizer some wine and our entrees all came out delicious and our waiter was sweet but I won't be rushing back on a busy Saturday night!
