In Southern California, this Cigar shop truly stands above the rest. I recently bought several cigars on various occasions and was always satisfied with the customer service I received and the quality of the cigars. I appreciate the fact that I can browse their great selections without any disturbance. Owner and staff are ready to advise if necessary yet the overall atmosphere is relaxed without any pressure to buy. The interior design is on par with fine Cigar shops I have seen in NYC or London. This place just feels right. Their selection of accessories (lighters, humidors etc...) is based on top quality not quantity. They also have a nice smoking lounge. This cigar shop and lounge is absolutely the best in LA. The best selection of cigars (including the full Davidoff line of course) in the city and the service is top notch. The walk in humidor is also perfect at all times. Temp and humidity are kept so much better than other shops I've been too. Additionally, David and his staff make sure you feel at home and are there to answer any questions you might have on a particular smoke. The lounge is also incredible. Membership here was one of the best decisions I've made. You can sit down in those comfy leather chairs with a stick and your computer and get work done, watch some sports, or just relax with headphones on. All the other people I've met in the lounge are respectful of privacy but also more than willing to sit and chat if you want. No matter how many people might be in the lounge it never feels too crowded. The ventilation is excellent as well so there's never too much smoke in your face like you might find at a lesser ventilated lounge. They are looking for clientele that can afford to drop $500 dollars on cigars. Ask for something good but affordable and you will be sold a dollar Stogey for 11bucks. Such riff-raff (like myself) will shop down the street at Dragon where any amount you spend will be appreciated. If your budget is under $10 this place gets 1 star. And it's fair enough, they have provided a very nice venue for the well heeled cigar aficionado to hang out without some shopping cart bum pulling up and asking to use the restroom. Very nice cigar shop in a cool West LA location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Asked if we could sit in the VIP lounge, they said yes, just buy $50 worth of cigars each and enjoy. Cigar prices are reasonable to I didn't mind buying some extra cigars for my humidor at home. The VIP lounge is nice with big leather chairs and couches. There's a coffee maker and hot tea available and is complimentary. We purchased large sparkling waters to take inside. Would have been nice if they offered us glasses to pour our water into. Overall nice experience but would like to see more amenities before I would consider membership. Ideally, alcohol and other beverages would be great. It needs a touch more VIP service, but I assume they will get there. They should allow a tab and waitstaff attending to the members. read more

I've recently found myself getting into Cigars. Being somewhat of a greenthumb, I've been on a deliberate hunt for a nice, knowledgable Cigar Shop to assist me on this new journey. I travel all over LA for work, so I'm always searching for places. I've checked out Liquor stores, smoke shops..... Even the higher end Liquor Stores Like Total Wine and Bev Mo. While thier selection is nice, I have trouble getting help trekking the new land of Cigars. I found this spot while working up by The Getty on my phone and bookmarked it. During my lunch I took the 15 minute drive down the Hill to see what this place had to offer. I was immediatly greated by David with a kind and helpful demeaner. He was able to find the perfect Humidor for me. I gave him some of the brands and profiles I have found myself gravitating towards and he was able to put together a great collection of Cigars for my girlfriend and I to try. I grabbed a box of some I know I really enjoy too. The conversation was held nicely, I was laughing, smiling and feeling like I was giving my hard earned money to someone who desereved it. Customer Service to me, solidifies the sale. Meaning, when I walk away from spending near 500.00 on cigars; I don't regret or doubt myself. I feel confident and good about my purchase. Needless to say, I came home with my hoard of Cigars and my GF picked one out and we sat out on our patio and finished it with out setting it down once, We NEVER DO THAT. I came to the shop today for the first time. I only had about 15 minutes before picking up my wife who was across the street and noticed the cigar lounge. I've been an avid smoker for 20 years I have been to countless cigar shops. I can honestly say, my own home shop included, that this is the friendliest one I've ever been to. The selection is absolutely top-notch, and the cigar lounge itself is beautiful with high ceilings and plenty of room. The shop as a whole is nicely appointed with accessories and humidors and the guy I talked to who appeared to be the manager what's the most welcoming person I've ever come across at a cigar shop. I'm moving close to the area and will absolutely grab a sticker to here. Price wise there about 3 to $6 more than I'm used to paying but completely understandable given the rents off of Wilshire boulevard. with this kind of service and attention to detail I'll easily pay a few bucks more to have a great experience. Wish this place was here 10yrs ago when I lived down the street! Excellent selection in the humidor and reasonably priced sticks. Came on a Friday midday having taken the afternoon off from work and looking for somewhere to cheat the 105 degree heat. David invited me to relax in the lounge since I was a first timer. Lounge is member only but the ambience is sophisticated, relaxing and exactly what I was looking for. Have been to a lot of lounges throughout the country and this is in my top 5 thus far. Jesus if I had a spare 2 grand I would probably... spend it on a home, but secondly I would spend it here! $1k for the membership and another grand for cigars to smoke there. The lounge is large and lavish - well worn brown leather furniture, dark wood everywhere, two large plasmas - if you want to watch a game, and room to stretch. The cigar selection is very good, priced well for the every man to buy a stick and large enough for the connoisseur to find the boutique that they want for later. Eric, the lounge manager, was kind enough to allow myself and a friend to partake a couple of cigars on a Sunday afternoon so that I could see what I could have if I was a member, and man I almost dropped those bills when I walked in. The owner is also very hospitable, friendly, knowledgeable and sincere, and a great sense of humor to boot. I've been to many other lounges and I feel that the membership fee is worth it here. The free lounges are no slouches around LA, but for the room and the freedom I felt at Lone Wolf was great. It's a shame I live in the valley. - But doesn't mean that I'll be taking my business here all the time, just if I feel like showing off. Light up and enjoy! read more

The lounge area is expansive, lots of comfortable leather chairs, couches and even a dining table. Two big flat screen TV's top it off. I'm coming out of 2 years of review retirement for this one! So. the Lone Wolf is great. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to cigars, but my husband loves them, so when it rolls around to a birthday or holiday, I wander into some cigar store and am like "guuuyyyssss hellllp meeeee." The times I have been there, they've been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They patiently walked me thorough ALL their cigar cutters (and my annoying questions) and even helped me pick out cigars for the hubs based on his personality and food preferences (husband LOVED the cigars, btw.) And...I only decided to write this review when I went to another cigar store today closer to my house, and...I guess I was too used to my Lone Wolf VIP treatment...but all my cigar needs will be from Lone Wolf from now on. Only 4 stars because, let's face it, they're a little curt on the phone. They were hesitant to answer my questions (for a $100+ purchase) and kept saying "just come in just come in," but man, this is LA...and you're a 1 hour drive right now! read more

After seeing some great reviews here on yelp, my buddy and I decided to come here and check this place out. We came here around 11 am. This was definitely worth it; if you appreciate fine cigars and you want to go to a place that has a good selection, Lone Wolf is the place to go, as an alternative to 2nd St. Now since this place resides in one of the busiest areas in West L.A., finding parking in the area can be brutal, but once inside Lone Wolf, it'll be worth it! For me, seeing the entire selection of Arturo Fuente (one of my favorite brands), was awesome. Prices are not too bad either, especially for West L.A. But the best part of coming here was being able to smoke in the Lounge for free, ( there is a monthly membership fee of 150.00 to smoke in the Lounge, and I believe for 190.00, you also get to have your own locker to store your cigars), but if you LOVE smoking cigars on a pretty regular basis, and have the means to pay the monthly fee, then this is the place for you. Since no one was here, and because of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, the shop -keeper was nice enough to let us smoke for free. Great guy; very knowledgeable; I wish I remembered his name. This place has one of the best smoking Lounges I've ever seen! I believe others have already posted pictures, please take a look. I popped in this afternoon for the first time, hoping to buy 10 or 15 sticks. There were two people in the lobby, a friendly shopkeeper and a customer, both unmasked. I kept my distance from them and peered into the humidor, where I saw a second customer inside, also with no mask on. At this point I decided to take my business elsewhere, and left quietly.
