Food: honestly the food wasn't that good. I'm never not honest so let me start it just honestly wasn't that good in my opinion. Presentation beautiful but actual flavor especially the cookies 1/5 Service- 3/5 nothing more nothing extra just a greeting and pay not much going on Ambiance- smelled like sour milk watched 5 other people after throw away the food and not walk away super happy. I came here after seeing photos online and was excited to try the sfogliatelle along with a few other pastries. When I arrived and asked about them, I was told they either don't make them anymore or didn't have any available. Instead, I ordered a chocolate cake and an apricot macaron. Went here with three other friends and it did not disappoint! We each ordered a dessert and split it four ways so we could each try one. All of the desserts were delicious! To take home I ordered the Caramel cookie, Grandma Cookie and Macarons all delicious as well. For my pastry that I shared with friends, the 2 cookies, macarons and a chai latte the cost was just a little over $50. These may be some of the best desserts I've EVER had. So not only are they beautiful they taste AMAZING. The pistachio was my favorite. It's just melts in your mouth. Stopped in for the first time and I was surprised at how little selection there was - maybe 9:30' is too early? I wouldn't say the gentleman was rude, but definitely not overly friendly. I ordered 4 items, my total was $30+. Pricey but these are handmade bakery items. The chocolate croissant is delicious, I've only had a few bites as it is so rich. The turkey quiche is good, the roast quiche is not my favorite. Overall, I'm glad that I gave them a try, not sure I'd return. Again, mostly due to lack of options. The store itself is clean and has nice decorations and some indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking in this place. Good location in Wakefield. read more

A few weeks ago I found this amazing bakery and this is definitely not your typical bakery. This place is a dynasty to say the least, and has the most delicious and unique flavors of pastries and croissants and some uncommon but wonderful experiences that could touch your tongue. I live 2 hours away but I will be a regular customer! There has been nothing I have purchased that hasn't been top notch. The only downside is they sell out! So, if you want the best variety you have to get there early, but anything you try will be the best quality ingredients and taste you have ever had in a sweet treat... Now they do have some savory options but I have not tried those yet. The baker is the nicest and helpful person, he will take the time to explain what he puts into the creations. As soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly and had a wonderful conversation with the workers. They were patient as I asked questions about the different dessert. It was great service and had a homey/welcoming vibe as soon as you walked in. Very clean. Reasonable prices. Always a good experience. I ordered the tres leches cake with coconut and lime. Best croissants in Wake Forest! They make some baked good as well but I didn't try them. They are pricey, around $10 a croissant, but they are good. They said they make their croissants with flour from France. We tried the Dubai chocolate croissant and it was amazing. I love that it is a small local business-It has a few small tables and chairs as well as a few booths for sitting inside the restaurant. The coffee was delicious; I had a wonderful conversation with the owner/chef and really enjoyed the overall ambiance. When we got home with our treats, we were absolutely in love. There is no bakery nearby that even comes close to the quality and craftsmanship of the desserts we brought home. I am an International Bakery lover! And I had heard good things about Saint Honore, but nothing could have prepared me for the deliciousness I encountered yesterday. I had the Massive Berry Cheesecake Croissant, the Rocher Croissant and the Tiramisu. The Croissants were flaky, moist, buttery, filled with ganache, mousse and dipped in this Lucious chocolate. As good as any Croissant in France. Honestly, maybe the best I have ever eaten. The Tiramisu was simply the best I have ever had. I tried this amazing bakery for the first time yesterday the owner is extremely passionate about everything that he makes and he's so knowledgeable too. He put so much love into his craft and the creations he makes. The croissants are perfection with beautiful layers. Flaky, buttery and light. The Napoletana was my absolute favorite. It's an award winning, savory pastry. The mozzarella along with the croissant crust is absolutely phenomenal. When I got home, I heated it just until the cheese melted a little bit.
