We came here maybe a year ago and it was awesome. The food was tasty, service was quick... but something that remained the same that I had forgotten is that you cannot go to the bathroom without being assaulted by intense cigarette smoke. Really you cannot smell it from the front dining area but there were literally people smoking in the back dining area and the smell lingered to the front. Did you know second and third hand smoking is actually more dangerous than smoking?! And this time around, we waited a really long time for our food. We ordered the chicken fried steak, hash browns and biscuit - the steak was yuck, the hashbrowns were mushy... maybe the biscuit was okay but subpar. The kids had breakfast taco and the eggs were just a weird texture. The bacon part was great nice and crispy and the tortilla was surprisingly decent. Then the second worse part was paying.. I was the second person in line as someone was finishing out.. another server had to come add something to a table while a long line had formed... then the gal let some other guy ring up before me even though I was clearly standing there. It was a terrible and long experience. The smoking itself will be a reason we never return. read more

The Place is massive! I had the BLT and the pancake with chocolate chip and pecan. The BLT bread was a bit over toasted. The pancake was perfect size and delicious! Orange juice was awesome. Unfortunately the only option you have is the spur, one thing you can count on at this place is you will rarely get your breakfast the away you ordered it especially eggs unless you order scrambled, my last visit there ordered two eggs over easy. I got one egg over hard the other over medium I ordered dry hashbrowns. There was enough oil in them to change the oil in my truck. read more

The building seems to be an old auto shop of sorts based on some tale tale clues like old roll up doors. They have a ton of space inside, with places that could work well for private parties or groups. The food is down home grub and its yummy! We came for breakfast and I ordered the pecan waffle, which was pretty big and darn tasty. Others at the table ordered chicken fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns and toast. Eggs were cooked perfect. Toast was a bit overdone. Hash browns were just right. The chicken fried steak was big on size and flavor. The batter was well seasoned but not overpowering. Lunch/dinner I always get the turkey dinner with the broccoli and cheesy rice when it's on the specials board.
