[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great farmhouse vibes, lots of well landscaped outdoor seating and best of all dogs welcomed and highly encouraged.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can sit in or outside with your fur babies which is a rarity[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu is fresh, albeit a little pricey in my opinion. 2 burgers and a grilled cheese was 76 bucks. Also be careful as they automatically tip at check out and you order inside and they bring the food to you. Thats it. You fill and refill your own drinks and there is no table service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All in all it was a good experience and was pleasant outside on a nice Saturday for brunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Well definitely be back since they are so dog friendly.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. I love the ambiance and the staff. They are so nice and very attentive and friendly. The star of the shoe was Chase. He was so funny and made the group of ladies that I came with so comfortable and kept us laughing. The rest of the team that helped Chase were so nice. I hate that I didn't get their names. I ordered the turkey avocado club with sweet potato fries. It was so good and they way that jalapeno ranch was paired with the sweet potato fries is the best. I also got a mimosa and key lime pie that was delish. I am going to bring hubby here. I will be back

We stopped by yesterday afternoon for some dessert. I chose the cherry pie (which they serve with a small ramekin of vanilla ice cream and fresh berries) and my wife chose chocolate ice cream (served with a cone and berries). Both were really good. One thing to be aware of...even though they are "out in the country" the desserts have big-city prices...$10 for a modest-sized slice of pie; $7 for a scoop of ice cream. Just my view, for what it's worth. As always, the staff is very friendly and attentive.

Had the Round Top Chicken Sandwich and husband had the Texas Avocado burger, both with fries. Both were great! Friendly staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Enjoyed that you could see the garden and it has outdoor seating that I'm sure would be great in cooler weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Had a Birthday lunch with girlfriends. The food is always fresh, hot and of great quality. The service is excellent and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is bubbly and positive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's such a pleasure to come in, dine and visit with friends. And a bonus Birthday cinnamon roll from Jim was the best!

We visited for the first time on 2/14 for lunch. I ordered the chicken taco salad and my husband ordered a burger. Since it is counter service and they only bring the food to the table, we tipped 15%. While mixing my salad, I flipped over several pieces of chicken that were completely raw. They offered to remake it, but once you see raw chicken, your appetite is gone. I requested a refund instead. What was most disappointing was the lack of effort to make the situation right. They refunded only the salad, did not adjust the rest of the bill, and kept the full tip. Serving raw chicken is a serious food safety issue, yet there was no meaningful attempt at customer service recovery. I have included photos of the receipts. We will not be returning, and I will be sharing this experience wi the everyone.

First of all, this place is gorgeous...like, it could easily be tucked away in Napa Valley, California. In a Texas sea of chain restaurants, it's a real treat to stumble on something with actual (non-corporate) charm. Even the napkins were gorgeous! I got completely suckered in by the photo of the Santa Barbara Salad (spoiler: it's basically a taco salad)), and while it was good, I would've loved it even more if the tortilla shell had been freshly fried. Still, the ingredients were generous and fresh, so no real complaints. It was a little challenging to split with hubby, but I managed. We also grabbed a side of onion rings, they were massive, golden, and almost too crunchy... if that's even a valid criticism? One of my favorite parts? The choose-your-own-adventure condiment game. There were all sorts of sauces and seasonings scattered across tables like hidden treasures. Oddly, no ketchup in sight, but BBQ sauce on the onion rings? Highly recommend. Bathrooms were super clean and also filled with style. I love a private bathroom, rather than stalls...

Super cute and super yummy. Prices are up there (like everywhere nowadays), but this is for a good cause. The owner stopped by our table and we learned it's a non-profit that supports kids with cancer. Family style tables so you might meet a new friend if you have a small party, but the food isn't family style. Everything we've tried is delicious!

Great spot! Fresh food! Lively staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and kid friendly :)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] you order food first and sit down so a more casual approach than getting served but highest end of that kind of experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fresh flowers everywhere and the place is beautifully decorated and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was great!

no complaints on food, it comes out hot and fresh. employees come around every so often to check on you and clean up if needed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]seating is in tables of 4 or 8, leading to multiple parties at one table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] prices average about $15+ per dish. parking lot is very limited especially during busy times.

If you don't have business out in Argyle, you'll probably never try this spot but Little Joe's Farmstead was a surprisingly good bite to eat. Starting with our arrival, there was a good amount of parking options as well as the ability to dine inside or outside (both dog friendly). The setting very modern and cute while still maintaining that homey feeling of a small town. You order what you want and then pay upfront at the register so be prepared for that. After ordering you're given a placard and told to sit wherever. The inside was packed but to be fair, in a town of a few thousand there probably aren't very many options. The service was warm but lacked a bit of that personal touch as there's no dedicated waiter, although that's understandable with the crowding. The food came out at an average pace and was pretty good looking. We ordered the Little Joe's American Burger and the Texas Avocado burger, one with regular fries and the other with the garlic fries. Both burgers were solid from flavor to texture. The regular fries left a bit to be desired but the garlic fries had a punch of flavor that was perfect. Again, if you don't have a reason to be in Argyle, it's hard to recommend driving up for it but if you find yourself driving through or around the area then you gotta give this place a try.

My partner in food wanted to try the King Kong against my better judgment. Looking at the photos, it didn't appear conceivable - to make matters worse, he wanted it to go! It came deconstructed. Four HUMONGOUS beef patties and probably a whole pound of bacon and beautifully melted cheddar. The bun was questionable, mostly because it was nowhere near enough bread for all that meat, but I get it, in a challenge situation, I wouldn't want to load up on bread. The patties were well seasoned and firm. I would have preferred medium, but since I was sharing, well done was fine. Not over done and still juicy. It also came with a container full of steak fries! I admittedly put a hurting in the fries, dipping them in the house ranch mixed with the jalapeño ranch. I wanted the fries to be crispier and the ranch to be thicker, but they were delicious nonetheless!! So how much of it did we finish?? I finished one patty with out bread!! My partner finished one and a half patties with sandwich bread. The bun got designated to my leftover patty. Tomorrow's lunch will be a single patty burger with half a pound of bacon!

The food looked great when it came out -- generous portions and nice presentation -- but the flavor didn't quite live up to the visuals. The burger patties were cooked through but a little dry, and the seasoning was pretty mild. The mushroom and onion topping added some flavor, but the bun felt a bit soggy halfway through. The cheeseburger was fine, but nothing that really stood out. The chili dog had plenty of chili and cheese on top, but the chili itself was a bit bland and heavy. The fries were thick and crunchy at first, but cooled off quickly and lost their crisp. They tasted more like frozen fries than fresh-cut. Service was polite and friendly, though the wait for food felt a little long considering it wasn't busy when we came in. The place has a laid-back, old-school diner vibe, which is nice in theory, but the inside could use a little refresh. It's not bad if you're nearby and craving a burger, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

However, as time goes on service and customer care seems to be declining. I'm in my mid 60s and have white hair, but the cashiers never offered the senior citizen discount unless you ask for it. I had good Birria tacos one time. The next time I went, they dipped them in consume, but didn't sear them off on the flat top so they were crispy so I ended up eating mush. That was my last review and I still gave him three stars for that mediocre attempt at a taco. I've been going to 407 BBQ for many years and I'm well aware of his sign that says if you don't specify, you get what you get no returns lean or fatty. Well I did specify, but the hostess didn't write it down on my order. OK you know what I am disappointed as all hell but that's my mistake since I didn't look at the receipt. Fine, but if you look at the receipt where I ordered a pound of brisket to go that clearly says lean, and it's a hell of a lot closer to fatty than lean. Look at my pictures below. That will tell you everything you need. My wife ordered the burger, which is normally very good and one of the more difficult choices that I have to make in life barbecue or burger. But this time it seems as though they put garlic salt on the burger or some sort of garlic flavoring which overpowers their burger we've never had to specify no garlic before, but maybe something has changed that I'm not aware of. Maybe he felt they needed to be more mainstream? Who knows. With the proliferation of really stellar barbecue now available around DFW I can no longer recommend 407. Maybe he's got too many young kids maybe I'm not aware and he sold out. Maybe he's gone corporate. I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe there's something going on in his life I'm not aware of and he's preoccupied with that. But I think I'm done with 407. He could've easily responded to my yelp review on the mediocre taco disaster, but he didn't. He didn't attempt to make it right. I published my receipt and he can go back in his system and see who I am. He's got my full name and phone number, but I doubt he'll contact me. It's a shame when he was working out of a small wooden shack, there seemed to be a lot more care about Customer Service and Support. There's always my standby Angelo's downtown Fort Worth, North Texas smoke out near Decatur, which is actually closer to me than 407 but has limited hours. Hutchins in Trophy Club and Daynes's barbecue in Aledo. I wish Brian and the 407 crew all the best. Hopefully they get things back

This quaint spot has been standing for more than 140 years and now serves as a restaurant and live music venue on the weekends. The food arrived on a plate instead of as a bowl, which threw me off a bit since I was expecting it to be served the way it's described. The hash browns were the highlight -- good portion and tasty. The sausage patty, though, was a little tough and had an odd texture, and it was just a single small patty. The avocado portion was also pretty tiny. I also tried a side of sausage gravy, but it wasn't the classic country-style gravy I was expecting. It was thinner, more heavily spiced, and had big sausage chunks instead of a crumble. It wasn't a bad meal overall, and I'd still come back -- I'd just try something different next time, maybe the steak and eggs.
