The wine list (which rotates) had a few things I recognized (and already love) and things I hadn't heard of before. I went for a chilled red because it was the perfect warm evening for it. The super Californian. Delicious! The bartender Jake was warm and funny, I believe he is the manager too. I ended up getting a second glass because everyone sitting inside, including him, were so engaging and fun to talk to! If you are thinking of stopping in! Do it! I'll be back!

Art Du Vin is such a cute, low-key natural wine bar. I've lived downtown LBC for almost two years…read moreand somehow never noticed it before, but I ended up there for a date and it turned out to be the perfect Sunday afternoon vibe. It's a small, charming spot with a relaxed atmosphere. Just a heads up- there's no indoor seating, so everything is outdoors with a small patio setup. That said, when the weather is nice, it's actually ideal. It feels very laid back and intimate, like one of those hidden neighborhood gems you stumble upon. The employee working when we went was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a place feel even better. The wine I tried was really good, you can definitely tell it's natural wine (in a good way!). They also have small bites available if you want to snack while you drink, though we didn't end up ordering food. Parking is street parking in the area, which wasn't too difficult to find when we went. Overall it was just a really pleasant experience. If you're looking for a casual place to enjoy a glass of natural wine outside on a nice day, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

Don't be shy about asking questions. I also like they offer sake tastings. We did two different ones. Left a little tipsy, lol. They also have a private room in the back.

They not only serve sake but beer as well & sold Japanese snacks. We sat at the bar & did a sake tasting. There were many different kinds of sake for purchase to take home if u choose to. We didn't purchase any at this time. Sadly, they were out of the 2 tastings that I was eying at but we were open minded to try anything good. We both like medium intensity with smooth & crisp taste but the ones we got were bold & strong esp without pairing food with it. It was still good though & I definitely felt tipsy at the end. The best part was all the sake brands we tasted weren't the usual ones you'll find at your average restaurant nor will you find it at the Asian market. Hubby ordered beer on the side & it was solid. I was hoping to meet the owner of the place to learn about sake but heard he was in Japan at the time. The server was young & nice but didn't explain in detail about each sake served. Luckily, the menu had descriptions about the different types which were helpful. Pricing wasn't cheap but not too expensive either. We do want to return back to try the ones we weren't able to last time. I highly recommend this place for sake lovers & to those that want to learn more in depth about sake!
