I'm a big fan of Club Studio and have been going for years now. Here's why I love it:…read more* The Gym is well lit, has all the equipment you'd need, and is never too crowded (or empty) to help us stay motivated to work out. * The Studios have great marked spots for each person, with instructors who bring the energy and fun to their classes. Plus, I appreciate that every class starts on time. I personally can't get enough of the Hot Yoga with Sandi! * The amenities are plentiful with towels, hairdryers, lockers and plenty of spaces throughout with everything we need. * The service is great. The Club Manager, Ricky, excels at taking care of the members. * And, there's plenty of free parking so you're never stressed looking for a place for your car or bike. This is a fantastic facility. Check it out!

I'm a very happy customer here now for almost a year. My only complaints about Club Studio are…read morewhen they build gyms without a pool or jacuzzi (such as this one in Long Beach) and they don't have any designations for beginner or advanced levels in their classes. It would be really helpful if you weren't confronted as a yoga newbie with instructors trying to get you to do hand stands or the very challenging moves and weight lifts in the Pilates x Strength class. I think they need to give info to the members about difficulty ahead of time or section off some classes as beginner, etc. I belong to another Club Studio in a different city as well, so I'd have to say the staff at the front desk at this club can be a little unfriendly and inattentive compared to the other club. But I love most of the yoga teachers at this Club Studio, and I really think they made great choices in hiring Sandi, Kelly, Karen, and Jason. They all have great personalities and try to make the classes accessible for people with injuries or special problems . But if you're a senior with a lot of physical problems, this club is probably not for you. The emphasis is definitely on the youthful customer here, and I hope I can keep up with the classes for as long as I'm physically able before I have to go somewhere else less challenging.

Literally every time I called to ask to speak to management they were never available. Same thing when I went in in person they were never available. I was on medical leave for surgery and for the birth of my child and somehow my card was being charged for several months and they refused to pay me back after already putting my account on freeze. Apparently your account can become unfrozen after a certain period of time and they could give a flying crap about that. I had doctors notes and actual procedure dictation and how much time I was supposed to be off for an Achilles tendon injury plus the birth of my child. I didn't want to cancel but at the end of the day I should've just canceled now knowing that they are literal crooks that took thousands of dollars from me without any check-in at their facility. HORRIBLE!!!

It doesn't feel cramped just really well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. Instructor Simmone was amazing. She was clear, motivating, and made the class feel both challenging and enjoyable. You can tell she really knows what she's doing and is intentional about the flow of the workout. I booked the class through ClassPass and had a great experience overall. The only downside is parking , street parking is the only option and it can be a bit annoying, so definitely plan to arrive early to give yourself time. Also it was 83 out and the space was open to the outside so it was fine . I'm not sure if it has central AC or not , but I probably wouldn't come back on a hot day .

There's even a lovely outdoor patio space that Lulu has generously said anyone is welcome to use. From day one, she made me feel completely safe, supported, and empowered. Her deep knowledge of anatomy and personalized approach have been game-changers for me. She takes the time to understand my limitations, and always modifies exercises to suit my needs. I've gained strength, improved my posture, and feel more mobile than I have in years -- all without pain or fear of injury. Beyond her expertise, she brings such a calm, encouraging energy to every session. She genuinely cares, and it shows in every detail of her instruction. If you're dealing with any kind of spinal condition or just looking for a compassionate, skilled Pilates teacher, I truly cannot recommend her enough. She's not just an instructor -- she's a healer and a guide, and I'm so grateful to have found her!

During my time with her I had measurable results, she took the time to work with me on problem areas (SI joint, etc.) and would adjust each session according to my need that day. I took a two year break from Pilates but stayed connected with her through her Movement Matters classes and I was thrilled to hear she started her own business. I now have sessions 1x per week and hope to increase my sessions in the new year. If you are thinking about it or on the fence about trying Pilates, I highly recommend speaking with Andrea. You will not regret starting, and once consistent, you will see and feel results.
