11/6/2015 @ 6pm - The first thing to note was the great beer selection, on tap and in bottles. After selecting a couple of beers we decided to start with the Porter barbecue wings, they are whole chicken wings and were delicious. We also ordered a wedge salad for each of us. During the short time from ordering our beer and enjoying our wings the place started to fill up quickly. Because of this the owner was helping bring all the food from the kitchen. Because the meal was so good I guess I can be a little picky and say they brought our salad out a bit too early because we were not finished with our wings yet. We decided on a pizza for our main course which was not on the menu, they will make any combination of toppings you request. We are from Chicago and this is not the pizza we grew up with and that is what we expected. The crust was thin and crispy the cheese and sausage were delicious and the tomato sauce was outstanding. Here is the reason for four stars and not five, it took a really long time to get our pizza! So long that of the three tables next to us two of them had customers sit down order, eat, leave and then have another set of customers sit down, order, and get their pizza before we even received ours. For dessert we shared a pumpkin tart with Foos cinnamon custard on top... Yum. Good food, good beer, and it is close to home! What else can you ask for? We will certainly be looking forward to the return trip. read more

Good for vegetarians, also. Most of the food ingredients are locally sourced. For instance, the ice cream comes from Brookside in KC. Speaking of ice cream, try the peacon rum cake. Terrible service!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! Our server was extremely rude and being racist towards my bf. She came to the table twice for drink orders and never took his until he flagged her down. By this point everyone else at the table had their drinks. Food is ok. It just isn't that good to me. Maybe I still feel like I am going to get Next Door Pizza when I go in. Wife didn't like her salad. It was just a ton of sprouts. The black bean humus just tasted like a bunch of ice cold smooshed black beans. My wife also had the chicken wrap. It just didn't have any flavor. My son and I ordered a pepperoni/Canadian bacon pizza and a buffalo pizza. Once again the pepperoni pizza was just bland. The buffalo pizza was ok once you dipped it in Ranch. The waiter was really good and paid attention to us. That probably had something to do with us being the only ones in there. In no way was that worth $70.00. read more

I actually wanted this to become our next hangout.... I finally convinced some friends and family to come up and watch the chiefs game, and enjoy the food, but the horrible state of the restrooms just made everyone lose faith in the cleanliness of the kitchen. I'd highly recommend the Cuban sandwich. The pork is great and the bread has good texture. Beer selection is always changing and has a great deal of character. Sadly every time I've got wings here they've been under cooked and bloody on the inside. I would give this restaurant a negative rating if it were possible to do so. I live not too far from this restaurant and I truly believe in supporting small business and especially ones in our own community. I cannot recommend this restaurant for so many reasons - the food, the service and it even starts at the top from management. Absolutely horrible. The pizza tastes like it's been made earlier in the day, sat and rewarmed. The help is rude, will leave you sitting before taking your order way too long and once the order is taken the pizza comes out way too quickly to be anything near fresh. After that, you sit before they return with your bill. Management is rude and just stands around watching, and can blatantly see you are not being served and does nothing. I have also noticed the very small amount of patrons in this business and this was all pre Covid so they cannot use that as the excuse. I would like to see a thriving business and a good restaurant option in this location. I will not be back! read more

Awful:( Me and my family decided to go to this place, mistake number one. I went and I got a caesear salad, mistake number two. The salad was so unfresh, it was yellow. I cannot sing enough praise for this place. I ordered the wrong pizza. When it came out, the waiter could tell I was puzzled as it had tons of things on it I normally wouldn't eat. He showed me the menu again, and then I realized MY mistake. Within 10 minutes he brought out the pizza I had actually wanted without charging me for both. AMAZING SERVICE. Pizza was ok, they have a firey sauce that was pretty good. It didn't really feel like a pizza place to me. It didn't smell like pizza, smelled more like a construction zone. The woman's restroom had watery soap, that was gross and unsanitary. They had a sign outside that said "happy hour" and had some drink specials. but the guy inside said that was for last week... so I am not sure why they had it out? Wanted a drive and to try a new pizza place. We were not disappointed. This was fabulous pizza and my 11 year old son gave it a 10/10. His favorite he said. Not a huge menu which I like. Quality over quantity. They gave us a half white sausage jalapeño apple pizza and half four meat pizza with red sauce. The crust was original. It looked to be about the thickness of Pizza Hut and tossed. But when you picked it up it was so light and airy. Crispy outside with soft inside. It was amazing. Long Bell has great food especially pizza, good bar, good atmosphere and good pricing. I like that they have trivia every Wednesday. I wish they had a better beer selection (craft beer selection is not that great and is over priced) but they have the staple beers/drinks you need. Clean and good customer service. Good environment for both families with kids and people just wanting pizza and beer. I would definitely recommend to everyone! read more
