Was pleasantly surprised that Stuey McBrew's serves families as well as groups and couples. We visited on a Friday evening and had no trouble finding parking (on street right out front) nor seating at booth right up front. Waitress was prompt and attentive. It's kinda dark inside and VERY noisy. So intimate conversations can be difficult. Absolutely no one wore masks except the two of us. We weren't crammed together which was nice. We both ordered side salads with blue cheese dressing. I think they gave us like a chipotle ranch-was fine, but not what we ordered. The Asian garlic charred wings didn't taste anything similar to what I expected but they were hot as described. I should have gone for something more flavorful rather than hot. Hubby got the Beefy Steve's steak sandwich with onion rings. He enjoyed both. I would rate the experience and food 3.75 stars. read more

Stuey McBrew's is an average bar in the Lee's Summit area. They do have a nice selection of beer (including Boulevard Brewing - KC local beer), and the prices for beer and cocktails are pretty reasonable. The service I experienced could have been better/more attentive, and the crowd isn't really my scene (younger, drunk, rowdy college kid, party crowd), but if that's your thing, you'll probably enjoy. They have cover bands on their outside patio as well. read more

Really good stop! My family comes here often but it is my first visit. We were seated fast and brought our food and drinks within 15-20 min of ordering. Definitely good food! The food here is top notch! Service as well. When you drive by or walk in do not be thrown off- it's legit. Great patio as well in all weather. It's closed off and heated during cold months. Also patio is pet friendly! Tacos, wings, and their salads are all fantastic! read more

Sam is the worst server ever she forgot about me and my family for three hours wasn't even nice at all this happened when visiting from out of town and I highly recommend the food but not that server. This used to be some of the best bar food. Hopefully, today was just an off day. We started with the spicy balls, which are always amazing! The boys ate tacos (Buffalo chicken and the Peppa tacos). Two of us had the gualajote. I've always loved it in the past, but they left the cream cheese off today and the bread was really dry. I ordered chips and salsa for my side and the chips were stale. Zero awareness from the girl working behind the bar, socializing with other employees and not maintaining her bar. Eventually I just walked out and hit another spot. I don't recommend. A large open concept bar features bar seating, high-top tables and booths in the main bar. Pass by Stuey as you enter to get a table. Snap a pick with the namesake! The staff are great! Dillon was a rockstar and super attentive. He was friendly and helpful informing us of the nightly specials. Tuesday specials are tacos and house margaritas. I ordered a house margarita and the honey chipotle chicken tacos. The drink was a bit strong on the sweet and sour mix, but a definite thirst quencher. The tacos were amazing! Great flavor and fresh ingredients. The entire space is quite fun. Neon signs and Stuey shirts on the walls. It reminds meeels of a popular college bar. Low lighting, good music, great selection of beers and food, plus a few arcade games and an entire second bar OUTSIDE! Apparently a great venue for live music performances. Honestly no complaints at all. The food is REALLY good. I usually go for the tacos or wings. They have a good variety of beer. And the service is good, unless they get super busy then it can be a bit slow but that's to be expected. This is one of our go to places. The patio in the summer is great and there is a really decent amount of seating inside. read more

I used to love Stuey's Baja Taco's. I got them last night and they were a joke!!!! The pieces of fish were not even 2 inches long and were mushy and no taste! I haven't been that disappointed with a meal in a long time. On top of the price has gone u! I said something to the waitress and all she said was that a lot of people have complained about them as well. She also said they used to be a lot bigger. That was it! No discount, no coupon, no manager to talk to me. NOTHING! So much for Stuey's! read more
