We had a sales rep come to our house yesterday to give us a roof quote. The sales rep was here close to FOUR HOURS! He went into this ridiculous slide deck presentation that tried to establish fear in us for thinking about going with smaller local companies. When he tried to pressure us into signing a contract on the spot and we said no, he was clearly agitated. We have had two other companies come out. Both of the other reps were here for 30 minutes, were respectful and honest. Here are the three quotes. We have a large house. Quote #1 $28,000 Quote #2 $69,000 (Long Home Quote) which was eventually lowered to $52,000 as we refused to sign the contract. Quote #3 $25,000 All of the materials were of the same grade. All insurances and warranty were the same. DO NOT TRUST LONG! **** Thank you to the customer service person that responded to my post. But that changed nothing. The rep was taught a high pressure presentation. He also seemed worried that if he didn't close the sale, he would be in trouble. He even had to call his manager during our meeting. You need to change your sales approach. Your price was twice the two other quotes for the same service and materials. I am sure the high pressure tactics end up bullying people into signing. Not us. I have been in sales management for 35 years. This is NOT the way to treat people/customers. It is dishonest and driven by greed. Remember pigs eventually get slaughtered. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE. SALES The salesperson misled us about two things and the time it would take to start the project. The old walls were not capped with stone, as the salesperson said they would be. The showroom model she showed us had a shower head and a side wand attached. However, the shower we had installed is an all-in-one model, where the head is a wand on a magnetic latch. We made the down payment for the project at the end of February, but installation didn't start until August. The paperwork estimated completion within 8-12 weeks, which would have been by the end of May at the latest. INSTALLATION 1. The shelf we ordered was installed almost 60 inches high, making it nearly unreachable for my wife. 2. On the day of installation (8/4), they discovered the door we ordered was the wrong size, despite two different people measuring. They had to install a makeshift shower curtain while waiting for the correct door to be ordered. 3. After weeks of no updates on the installation date, the fit of the door is so poor that I'm now looking into having it replaced by a local glass company. The alignment of the glass, due to manufacturing issued, at the top was off by half an inch. Even when I tried to press them to fix the issues properly, they seemed more comfortable offering a discount on the final price, rather than actually addressing the problems. In the end, they knocked $1,621 off the total project cost of $19,232. And God knows what it will cost to have the door done correctly. AVOID LONG HOME LIKE THE PLAGUE. The only even slight bright spot is the installers were very professional and courteous. They just couldn't outshine the incompetence of their leadership. 9/5/2025 UPDATE: so even the installers are incompetent. I waited for the silicon to dry on the door and first shower flooded the bathroom. The idiots install the door on the outer lip of the shower instead of the inner, funneling all the water under the door. read more

Do not pay attention or care about what you expect and don't follow contract. Do what they want to complete as quickly as possible then just ignore customers complaints in hopes they just go away. Finally Finished... we signed the contract for this project on October 1. After about six weeks, I was called that the material I originally wanted was not in stock anymore so I had to go with something else which I just didn't care for any of them so I settled on one and it's just been an awful experience .They started doing the assembly on December 28 and they finished it on April 14 after four sets wrong doors shelf's I didn't want ,molding that I didn't want which I'm stuck living literally the molding is just horrendous. it was just the worst awful experience. read more

Came across this company by doing a quick google search "roofers near me" then glanced to see who have the highest reviews. I saw a bunch of 2k+ 5 stars reviews and it immediately caught my attention. After a recent wind storm my shingles were falling off, I have an old roof and knew I needed to replace it for a while. Now I need it asap so I immediately called them to schedule an appointment. As I was on the phone I remember to check Yelp reviews and the disparity is jarring. 2 stars vs 5 stars. Pro tip I feel like Yelp does a better job of filtering reviews. I always get skeptical when I see a bunch of 5 stars on google but the person only have 1-5 reviews in total So sales guy came to my house to give me a quote. He came into my house with shoes on (being an Asian family, it made my wife and I cringe a little). so he spends 30 min chatting it up and walking around to take a look. told me computer will take at least 30min to spit out a quote. i already had 2 other guys come and give me a quote in 10 min same day so there should be no reason this should take 60-90min. Those 2 guys did not need to enter my house either btw This company is out there making you sit through a sales pitch, try to ask if you are working on any other projects. I get it, its a business but not everyone have time to sit through a long sales pitch. I just need my roof replaced and nothing else Oh and when i cut the meeting short, they wanted to reschedule another time to come back and give me a quote (aka make me sit through another 60min). I was happy until one of the windows developed a crack. It was discovered by an person who came to help show me something I had for gotten how to do. He ordered a replacement on Oct 1 2025 . I was able to verify the order had been placed. Today in November 11 2025 and in spite of daily call and texts I have been unable to get an update as to when the replacement can be put in. The sales people will tell you that their crews are reliable professional installers who are trained in industry standards and work directly for Long. The installers are sub contractors with stick on signs for the truck. The bathroom tub to shower conversion I received was performed by the two worst tradesmen I've ever seen. They were unprofessional, dirty, and not skilled enough to be working on the inside of a home. My suspicion is that they are the laid off roofers. Absolutely no communication once the job started. I was told after the rough plumbing inspection that they couldn't get the rough carpentry inspection for at least 3-4 days. I told them that was not true and call back. They didn't call the inspectors office, I did, and got the inspection with in two hours of my call on the same day they told the inspector wasn't available for a few days. I could give you a litany of things they did incorrectly, reveresed hot and cold water, trash in my yard and driveway, broken screen door, no dust barrier, etc etc. etc,. In summary the people that they send to your home can't or won't communicate with you and most importantly they have zero skilled tradesmen or project managers. As stated in many reviews, do your research, I didn't. I was in need of a desperate fix. This is not a quality home improvement company. I would never recommend this sad excuse of a construction outfit. Their construction staff is less than professional, they have dismissive attitudes and absolutely horrific customer service. The Corporate office in Taunton and the national office should be ashamed of their ethical and moral failure here, these are peoples homes they are destroying, I repeat destroying, with substandard work at elevated prices. My husband and I agreed to have Long Home Products install a new shower for us at the end of January of 2024. The first part of the installation took place fairly quickly, in the middle of February 2024. As of today, nearly 6 months later, we are still waiting for the shower door and glass wall to be installed. I have called numerous times asking for an estimate to when the job will be completed. No one can give me a straight answer. As of June we finally got a hold of a manager and asked that something be sent to us in writing so that we could either terminate our agreement and go with another company to finish our project. We were given apologies and promises to lower the price for our inconvenience and assurances that the job would be "moved to the top of the list" and would be finished soon. Our project manager came out, took new measurements, shook our hands, looked us in the eyes and promised the job would be done by July 5th. We never heard from him again, July 5th came and went, and we still don't have shower door or wall. Management promised once again to look into this and then never called back, and has still not sent us anything in writing about the price reduction, which we have repeatedly asked for. I was so excited to be getting a new shower, but never expected to have no use at all of my shower for 6 months. I have been a homeowner for 40 years and have NEVER had such terrible customer service with a so-called professional company. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I wish I had done more research BEFORE hiring this company. If I had seen all the complaints and bad reviews before we signed a contract, we would NEVER have gone forward with using Long Home Products for this project. We should have done more due diligence, and that's on us, but after over 4 hours with their sales rep we were worn down by 10pm and agreed to this without interviewing more companies, against our better judgment. I suppose that's on us as well, but again, in all our years of being homeowners, never have we run into anything like this. So many empty promises, outright lies, and horrible customer service. The contractors did a terrific job on the installation, very hard working contractors. All was good, except they were suppose to extend one shower wall about 4 inches around corner. Run away. After waiting for many months, Installer finally comes and decided to do the entire install and not bother to wait for the building inspector. Building inspector didn't like that. Extremely high cost. The many advertising on tv is passed to the customers. They installed the wrong product on the roof. The roofing crew are not experts. Some of the guys are careless and results in damages to the wood and metal sidings. The roof started leaking on the next storm. I had to call them to come back and fix the issue. I called many times but never received my copy of the contract and certificate of completion which is needed for the home insurance. I selected this business to consult with for a new roof for my house. The representative arrived and started the conversation about Long Roofing and how great they were. He went on and on about their reputation. Then came the price of over $21,000. He was insistent on us committing to that price. We said we would talk about that. Still very pushy and insisted we would get a better price. Finally after coming down about $1000 he went went outside to give us some time to talk. Coming back we told him no. He was not happy and still so insistent and not at all professional. We looked for and found Tip Top Roofing. What a great company! No pressure great people to deal with! The price, $11,000! Demolition and installation went flawlessly. Thalia told us it would take 4 days due to building inspections and it took 4 days. The team (Katie, Gabby) were in constant contact with me on the inspection's that were needed. Victor did a great job during the demolition and only removed what was needed (We did a tub to Shower). House was left clean when he was done! Victor came back to do the installation with Miguel, and they did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!!! We had 2 bathrooms ( shower in one, tub in the other) renovated in the fall of 2024. We waited almost 2 months to have the shower door adjusted as it wouldn't stay closed. We are still waiting for a grab bar which was part of the original order to be installed. Despite multiple phone calls with assurances I would be called back, I have yet to receive a call. The company has had my $5000+ deposit in their pocket all this time. During this period, I have gotten several lame excuses for delays. I have lost all confidence in the company's ability to deliver. I called the regional manager to cancel and demand return of my deposit. He refused my request. He has also refused to take my phone calls to negotiate any kind of financial compensation for the inexcusable delay in their fullfilling their contractual obligations. Ended up cutting a wire had to wait for an electrician to come and fix it. Now Friday still waiting for an electrical inspector to come out and they are waiting for a permit to be pulled? Now long home doesn't answer the phone. When we inquired about the shower we told them it was a medical reason for having it done. They said they would try to rush it along. They transfer you from person to person when you call. I just wanted to confirm a service appointment and I've already spoken to 5 different people!! BEWARE OF LONG NIGHTMARE AND UNPROFESSIONAL ROOFING COMPANIES! My experience as a customer of LONG HOME PRODUCTS to say the least, has been a LONG NIGHTMARE. This started in July 2023 when I hired this company to replace the roof on my home. After meeting with their sales representative, I was approved for a loan to cover the cost of the project. This amount was significant, OVER $23k, but I recognize that it was important and necessary to preserve my home. There are several I believe important things that they fail to make clear during the application process. Most notably, that the customer is responsible for the significant cleanup of all the debris in the attic resulting from the roof repair. This was significant. My attic at the end of the day appears as if a tornedo went through it. There was a large amount of roof asphalt, shingles, nails, wood, and dirt. The company stated that they were only responsible for cleaning up the outside of the home. I received some help with removing some of the debris inside but was left with the task of a massive clean up of the attic. Not long after the roof was replaced, I noticed that vinyl in areas along the roof edges where it meets the roof was missing or displaced. I suspect because of movements during the roof replacement, that they were not securely fasten after the roof replacement. I did not have this problem before this project. I contacted LONG HOME PRODUCTS by email and telephone calls several times without any positive response to correct these problems. Some of these conversations was with other sales representatives who called to suggest that I undertake other projects with this company!! I was told that the product and workmanship would be professionally completed and guaranteed for 30+ years. I was assured that I would not have any immediate issues with my roof. THIS HAS NOT BEEN MY EXPERIENCE. In December of 2024, after heavy rains and winds I found several displaced roof shingles from my new roof on my lawn. I again contacted the company with photos as evidence. In January 2025 I had my roof inspected and was horrified by the video images I received. There was image of a significant area of the roof where the roof shingles/covering were missing and clearly was not nailed down and installed correctly. A large area was exposed. This was proof of unprofessional work, (video available.) I AM STILL WAITING FOR LONG HOME PRODUCTS TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES! Frankly, based on the condition of my roof and the poor, unprofessional workmanship of my roof installation by LONG HOME PRODUCTS I have serious reservations that they can deliver professional roof installation. CONSUMERS BEWARE OF ROOF INSTALLERS WHO PROMISES BUT DO NOT DELIVER PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION. It is unfortunate that these companies are allowed to continue to provide poor quality services after receiving payment and consumers are expected to pay excessive amounts of money for services not received. This is dishonest practice and unfair to consumers. I am making payments on a loan for poor service! The company should be held accountable for their actions and must deliver what they are paid to do! If there was a rating for zero, that would be my choice at this time. Heads up - LH uses high-pressure sales. We asked LH for an estimate on a "one-day" bathroom install. While their representative, Mike, was on-time and seemed knowledgeable, his sales approach was disappointing. He went from $13K to $11K to, after calling his boss who was going to divert "marketing funds," down to $8K ... but only if I signed on the spot. He kept pushing this one-time opportunity as I closed the door behind him. What a joke. It was like buying a used car. The next contractor (Bay State) started at $8k and came down to $7K for the same job. They also were more thorough with their assessment and offered better sample materials. Both companies had tons of before/after photos. Then, like the below reviews, I've been incessantly called via different phone numbers - even after informing them we went with another contractor. At this point I just put them on hold and let them sit around waiting for me to return. Bunch of clowns looking for suckers who are not willing to trust their instincts. read more

Buyer beware! If you are looking to do work with Long Bath, a bigger local company, to make the bathroom remodel easy and painless, you should definitely reconsider. First off, they will ask a lot of questions to ensure they have the right "solution" for you. Unfortunately, there solution is mostly an idea in your head, accompanied with an inaccurate picture and a quote that will start 10k plus higher than you will actually agree to. For us, the quote started close to 25k for just a shower conversion and worked its way down 10k in less than 5 minutes of "nagotiating'ish" conversation. I get starting high, but this was excessive. We decided on materials, shelves, and fixtures, which by the way were the main selling points for us. We wanted a shower system and the one the sales rep presented to us, via pictures installed, was a shower system. Even the picture presented had a shower system installed. These shower systems are pricy, as we had already researched prior, but if we were going to be spending this type of $ to get this renovation, we felt the extra 2 to 4 hundred dollars would be justifiable addition for something nice. After finally agreeing to a price, taking a picture of the mock-up design, and receiving paperwork with no real details of what fixtures we were receiving, we now just had a short almost 3 months wait for the installation date. Installation date comes on a Monday and the first step is to pull out all of the old, re-work and install plumbing, and having both building and plumbing inspectors come out. Communication was rough at this point. We would call for updates where they would take our info, and we would not receive any call back until maybe 2 hours before the inspector was supposed to be there. One of the inspectors claimed to have scheduled the inspection for that Wednesday on the Monday before, but still only received an hour notice. Communication is never great with contractors, but I assumed working through a major company with project managers would have been better, my bad, but this is not why I am taking the time writing this review. My issue is with the shower head we thought we were getting, based of discussion and the mock-up picture we took of the sales reps screen. We called the sales rep 3 weeks ago and he said that Longs system automatically puts this shower system on the mock-up picture, but it is not accurate. That is extremely misleading and comes across as very deliberate. No details regarding fixtures on your order agreement which should have raised a red flag. We also had issues where the shower would not get hot, maybe luke warm at best, and the water pressure was less than half of what we had before the remodel. These issues were fixed with follow-up appointments, which required even more time as the inspectors had to be scheduled and come out again to ensure correct install. Not a bad thing having them come out, just more to try and work into your already busy schedule. The sales rep was going to talk to his boss regarding a solution and we would receive a follow-up call. It has been 3 weeks, and a half a dozen calls from us to Long Bath trying to get answers, with no follow-up from Long. Frustrating! It seems they are intentionally not responding, trying to delay until the install has been completed. I'm not optimistic that they will do right here, and this will probably require additional intervention, but I will make sure people know how this company misleads and will take advantage of you if you let them. Hopefully this review along with every other place I will duplicate this review and follow up on, will provide enough to either help someone make a better choice of company to provide remodel service, or at least be on guard for how they can take advantage of you. BTW, I thought it was weird that they ask you to provide a review the day the sales reps come in. They literally walk you through the review to ensure they get positive feedback. Makes sense now why there are sooo many great reviews. Just had a project completed today and have looked forward to writing this review. Here's the Reader's Digest version. If i were going to base this review only on the products and the installers, it would be a five-star review, easily. i'm VERY happy with the shower, floor, and vanity; they're beautiful! The toilet looks good and works properly; that's all i expect from a toilet. The installers - Eggy, Rafael, Anderson, the young guy who spoke almost no English and whose name i can't remember to save my life, and Nikolas - are all polite, professional, and very good at what they do. Ditto for the electrician, Wellington, who came to move an outlet. All were excellent; i couldn't ask for better. However, when it comes to dealing with people at LHP other than installers, if i could give less than one star, i would. People at the office call and flat-out lie to you. They say that everything is in and ready to be installed and schedule an installation appointment. Installers show up for your appointment, but they are only given some of what they need to complete the job. Project coordinators and managers, when you ask what all is going on, say "Let me check on that and get right back to you". And then, much more often than not, they don't. They keep you hanging for days, or even weeks, and the only way you hear anything is when you get tired of waiting for them to call back and you call them. What i finally found out was that the installers didn't have all the items because some of them hadn't even been ordered yet! The project manager said he would find out when they were ordered and if he could get an ETA; he never did. Repeated inquiries via e-mail went unanswered. Weeks later, i found out, when i called to ask about it, that he had left the company and a new project manager had taken over. Did anyone at LHP let me know about that? Of course not! Crews sometimes show up much later than you're told they will, or don't show up at all. Or, the project coordinator says he'll call and let you know when the installers are on their way. Maybe he will; maybe he won't. One time, someone from the office called and said "They're on their way, should be almost there." One guy showed up over four hours later, after i called to find out if anyone was still coming, and he STILL didn't have everything i was told was in and ready to be installed. Forget about trying to get a straight, no-BS answer from anybody. Because of all the screw-ups from the people who should know how to coordinate and manage a project, i went two months and then some with no seat on my toilet, no sink, and an incomplete floor in my only bathroom. Live and learn, though. Now i know what company NEVER to use again when i'm ready to have anything else done in my house, and for sure i will give them the written and/or word-of-mouth advertising they deserve. Let me start by saying that one star is too good for Long Home Products review. We recently contacted Long Bath to do a tub to shower installation in our home. The sales person, Julia Swan, was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had to make a quick decision about going forward my husband was hopefully coming home from the hospital shortly. My daughter and son-in-law were doing this for us and had to get back to their home in Hawaii. After contract was signed and an estimated start time 5-6 weeks everything went down hill. The contractors were supposed to be here on a Monday, they showed up unannounced the Wednesday before. I wasn't home, but a neighbor called me and I had him let them in. They were supposed to come in the following week to start install between 8 & 10 a.m. They never called or showed. I called office and tried to get ahold of the project manager, left a message to call me back which was never done. The following day I called Julia she finally Anthony to call me back. He said there was a problem at warehouse, not telling me that the warehouse is Home Depot. When installers finally showed up they said they were tied up on another job. This scene played out several more times with installers no shows, or several hours late and no update from project manager (Anthony Androisi). When I finally did speak with him I told him that I could be flexible but he needs to communicate with me. When the installers left after "finishing" the job, I was left with a hole behind the pedestal sink where the water lines are connected. Hole was 6" wide by 10" long. They told me all I had to do was put a mesh over hole and cover with joint compound. Not ok . I called Julia and she arranged for a manager to have someone come out and fill the hole. I still have water lines showing. The bathroom walls were supposed to be left in paint ready condition. I've had to have a plasterer come out and blend the existing wallboard to the new one together. The new one is protruding almost 1/2" out from the existing wallboard. I would NEVER recommend Long Home Products to anyone. I'm sincerely disappointed in their communication, the skill of their contractors. TO DATE,EVEN WITH FOLLOWUP PHONECALLS AND EMAILS TO LONG, I HAVEN'T HEARD ONE WORD FROM ANY OF THEIR LEADERSHIP. I DO EXPECT THAT CONTACT FROM THEM WOULD BE A TOP PRIORITY TO THEM GIVEN THE PROBLEMS I'VE INCURRED. read more

I signed up to do a tub to shower conversion, which was supposed to get completely done at the beginning of June 2024. However, once they said it was done I noticed that there was leak on one side, between the shower door frame and the shower base. Additionally, they never called the town to do final inspection like they said they would do! I called them repeatedly and they said that they would fix it, but they NEVER came back to finish the job! I am so upset and I went with them because it was supposed to be easy, and it has been anything but that. I will never use this company, nor refer this company to anyone. They have been unprofessional, and I'm still trying to get this issue resolved. read more

Its the service after the sale that counts......right? I've called them 3 times about my defective shower head. Each time I was promised a call back about "buying a different option". Why should I buy another option??? I just dumped my life savings on this tub, I deserve better service than that! I get better showers at the wellness center. No one has called me yet. read more
