Brought my brand new 2023 Tucson with an key error on dashboard. First they said it's just a remote battery free of charge , they won't charge for it then the lady came out and charged me 8.69 $ for a tiny CR watch battery . Then they said your good to go ., They could have run diagnostic to see if something wrong ., first stop same problem ., gotta wait till it starts back on with 2 little kids .

Missing wheel cap after they serviced my car.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any car dealership. 2015 Sonata Sport/LTD 45K miles Upon arriving at the service department my contact was a lady named Cody. I took my car in to get the Blind Side Detection (BSD) repaired. I was very detailed in explaining the issue. I explained that the passenger rear radar unit needed calibration or replacement. Proper calibration requires removal of the rear bumper cover and specialized tools from Hyundai. I explained that the radar is probably defective and that it would be WISE to have a replacement ready to install so I don't have to leave my car for days while the radar is ordered (this is warranty work and they didn't have a loaner car available so I had to rent a car). I also told them the keyless entry didn't work on the drivers side and it is due to a bad connection at the door. If I press in on the harness it will work for a while then it stops working. I also told them that the GDI fuel pump is very noisy. It wasn't nearly this loud when I bought the car. I told Cody that my trunk failed to open automatically as well. It would unlatch but not open. That defeats the whole purpose of having a trunk lid that opens via proximity of the keyfob....IE....when your hands are full. They said they would take care of it. They offered additional routine service that I accepted. They offered to rotate my tires. I said no thanks. I will take them back to my tire store for that work. I leave with my son in the rental car. Later Cody calls and stated that my car needs an alignment. I asked why are they looking at my tires since I already stated I would let my tire store take care of that. I was told that they had already done the rotation and checked the tire pressures before she had a chance to tell them I wasn't interested in the service. I then inform her that the tires are Michelin Pilot Sports, they cost over 1K, I had them installed less than a month ago AND I had a 4 wheel alignment done right after the tires were installed. The car rode down the road smoothly and you could take your hand off the wheel and it drove straight as an arrow. This was the first sign of dishonesty with Long Hyundai. I get messages in my email claiming my service is complete. I go pick up the car with my son. I am told by Cody that they didn't repair the door harness because the keyless entry was working. I told her it would fail again and reiterated the issue is in the plug on the door harness. I was told by Cody that the tech informed her the trunk was operating normally. She stated that the tech had said that the lid was only designed to automatically unlock and not auto open. I explained that it had been opening automatically until about a month ago. I was told by Cody "I will do some research and let you know what I find and call you". They didn't touch the GDI issue. I was told by Cody that the noise was normal. I stated that it's not normal. I said "let's go grab another Sonata Limited like mine in your parking lot and see what it sounds like". I was told they didn't have any Limited/Sport 2.0 Turbos on the lot so we coudn't do that. I pay a $550 dollar service bill that was for an oil change and brake job. The brakes did seem to be much better. At that price they should have installed gold plated rotors and calibers. STEEP! Driving down the road I check my tire pressures via the dash computer. 35, 32, 32, 27. I pull over at a gas station and confirm with my digital air gauge. I adjusted the tire pressures. I then noted that the tires had not been rotated. I also noticed that one of the center caps was missing ($50 each). I am not very happy. I continue driving and a couple of minutes later the BSD light starts flashing. This was the main reason the car was taken in for repair. I was told by Cody that the service tech had driven the car for 30 minutes and the BSD was working normally. I knew this was a lie because the BSD light comes on normally after about 10 minutes of driving and on this day it was the same as usual. I get home and call to tell Cody about the issues. The service manager puts me on hold for a while then picks up and says Cody has left for the day. I finally talked to her the next day. She apologizes and says they will take care of it. She says they will wait till they have a loaner car available to schedule my repairs (I had spent $175 on the prior rental while my car was being serviced over 3 days). I never got a call. I called them. I asked about my center cap. Cody says it is there. I tell her I will come and pick it up. It takes a half hour for me to drive there. I'm literally pulling in the parking lot and she calls and says "whoops...my bad...it hasn't been ordered". Since then it has been a lot of promises and nothing has been done. I will detail the car and sell it before May. I will never buy Hyundai again. PS...the trunk had a TSB when my car was there. It's now in recall! https://bit.ly/2GB5ih9 Moving on!

Gears Transmission indicated they were not obligated to warranty rear main seal leak (in which they replaced). After 4 weeks of constant calls, broken promises to remedy, paying for repairs out of my pocket and pursuing legal action for reimbursement I finally received reimbursement for warranty work. To make matters worse, a broken bolt was discovered from seal install, meaning they broke a bolt and attempted to hide during installation. In addition, a loose bolt in transmission bell housing was also found. During transmission repair and warranty claim, Gears was horrible about providing updates; they only called/ returned our calls two times over this 9-week process. Granted, we travelled cross country day after receiving truck with rebuilt transmission and Gears had to use another shop to perform warranty repairs; however we had to take truck to 2 different shops of their choice so they could obtain multiple quotes and we ended up paying for repairs out of pocket after they reneged on paying their bill to vendor of their choice. Only after beginning legal proceedings did I receive reimbursement for main seal replacement.

They put me on the appointment list for the time I expected to arrive and got me in right away. They performed a full inspection and discovered that the tires I previously had installed were the wrong speed rating for my vehicle. They took the time to explain everything clearly and even walked me through how to address the issue with the previous shop. That level of honesty and helpfulness meant a lot. They also gave me an estimated repair time and ended up finishing sooner than expected, which was a huge relief with kids in tow. Everyone I interacted with was respectful, professional, and genuinely caring. I'm very grateful for their excellent service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Especially if you want trustworthy help!

When I arrived, I was told they were finishing another vehicle and that the wait would be approximately an hour and a half. That explanation makes no sense. The entire purpose of scheduling an appointment is to avoid sitting around for hours while the shop works through other vehicles. If they had no intention of honoring the appointment time, they should not have scheduled it. I waited the full hour and a half, and still nothing happened. I then gave them an additional 30 minutes, despite already being far more patient than this situation deserved. After waiting two full hours, I went to the front desk to express my frustration and was casually told it would be another 45 minutes to an hour. In other words, they expected me to wait nearly three hours for a simple inspection that had been scheduled for 1:00 p.m. This is not a minor delay. It is blatant disrespect for customers' time and a complete failure to manage appointments competently. There is no point in offering appointments if they are treated as meaningless.
