The shower door now appears to be out of alignment. The receptionist, who is very sweet and considerate, asked me to video the closing and opening of the door and I sent it to her on 07/29/2026. I have called countless times since, and spoken with the receptionist, and other associates who answer the phone without success. I have been promised countless times that they are going to send someone to take care of the issue. They never call me back or send anyone. The amount of phone calls, in addition to stopping by the office location personally amounts to enough time and effort spent on my part trying to get them to come and address my issue. They really have disappointed me. I had written a beautiful review after the initial install and now regret doing so. Knowing that it is a family owned and operated business, I would certainly expect better customer service. I called again just yesterday, spoke with a man and explained to him that I was supposed to be hearing back from Shamus as to when he could come. It was explained to me that Shamus is the owner's son, so he should clearly understand the importance of good customer service. Shamus got on the phone with me just yesterday, and abruptly said, "I never told you I was coming today. He went on to say, "I have to coordinate a truck, and I will get back to you with a date and time." I asked again, so you will be calling me back? He said, "yes." He really annoyed me when he said, I never told you I was coming today. The true fact is I was told during countless phone conversations with the office receptionist that she would be sending someone. I have been given this same answer countless times and nobody ever calls back and nobody ever comes. It is a rude and inconsiderate way to run a business. I am not sure that Howie, the owner is still actively involved in the business, but he clearly should know the lack-luster attitude towards customers who are in need of a repair. The only asset is the receptionist. She is very kind and considerate.

In 2022, I got two bedroom windows (see previous review) and then this week, I got a new sliding patio door/backdoor and a kitchen window (awning style). I received three quotes for the sliding glass door. Andersen quoted me at $6,800 (of course, it was $9,700 but then their magical discounts brought it into the high 6's) and Power quoted me at $5,800 (of course, if I signed RIGHT THEN AND THERE, it would be $5,100 only). They also both told me that it would be 7-10 weeks for install. Window World quoted me at around $4,000 for the door and within 3 weeks of putting down a deposit, I had a new door and window. The door is perfect and has built-in blinds that open/shut and raise/lower. The window is gorgeous - I took their recommendations and went with the awning-style window instead of one that goes up and down (they called this Double Hung). Absolutely fantastic service from Bill and Matt, as well. The installation took about 3 hours and was done perfectly.

I did order in fall, and the windows as promised ready in the 6-8 week time frame. We were in a deep freeze at that time. I didn't want to do the install until nicer weather. At this time the windows were installed. All 18 casements, bay window and sliding glass door. I couldn't be happier with the 2 day install for windows and flashing that they replaced throughout the outside of the house. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of windows and work that was done, and lower then all the competition that had different sales pitches but I got windows for what I wanted not what was pushed to sell! I don't necessarily believe this was the installer's fault--it may have been a defective keypad. I ordered a replacement myself and simply asked the owner if someone could come back to swap it out. He replied but didn't give me a straight answer, he was actually nasty. I've sent multiple text messages over the past weeks. The lack of communication and customer service has been extremely disappointing. When you spend a lot of money with a company, you expect them to stand behind their work and at least return a customer's message. It's frustrating that such a small service request has been completely ignored. Because of this experience, I can no longer recommend this company. A quality installation is important, but so is customer service after the job is complete.

Terri and Brian in sales are wonderful and provided an efficient quote and clear answers to my questions. The installation team of Brian K and Jeff B are wonderful with Brian K being extremely diligent in his work as well as patient and polite. One of the glass panels was slightly chipped (noticeable only very slightly) from the manufacturers during shipping and Terri arranged for a replacement right away. Brian and Jeff came in a second time and reinstalled it with a smile. I realized when they came for the shower enclosure measurements that Clear Image was also the company my condo's landscape company had used when they had broken my storm door with a pebble that was flung by the trimmer while cutting the grass. Clearly (no pun intended), Clear Glass is doing something right and in my opinion the best when it comes to glass installations on Long Island.
