This place is absolutely disgusting. And the customer service was awful. My friend and I dined in and our food was so disappointing, I got the popcorn shrimp, chili cheese fries, and hush puppies. EVERYTHING WAS JUST BREAD. And the cheese was sour and the fries were cold. Every booth was disgusting and the overall cleanliness id give a 0/10. Went to the front to order root beer floats and stood at the counter for a full ten minutes. Nobody helped us and while we waited we watched as a employee dropped fries all over a really gross counter top, and he picked them up with his bare hands (no gloves) and smushed them onto a plate for a customer. We finally just left without being helped. This place needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY it would never pass a health inspection, and I've been in the restaurant industry for years. read more

I went there today and got a chili dog and the chili cheese fries. The chili sauce was overcooked and was black in spots and didn't taste very good. Also, they were totally out of napkins. I asked for napkins and a staff person said they were out. It sucked to get messy food and then not have any napkins to wipe my fingers off. read more

Amazing they were closed, assuming the office is California I find that odd. Any way Local records show you as the owner, CATrox LLC 3279 Mount Diablo Ct # 4, Lafaytte, California 95549. I just wanted to let someone know about this incident. My spouse and I placed an order at the drive up window. We pulled forwarded and waited behind the customer ahead of us. After five minutes this customer received their order and departed. We pulled to the window paid and was told to pull forward to wait for our order. The customer behind us pulled to the window paid and waited three minutes and was given her order. My spouse and I still waiting. Needless to say not being happy I exited my vehicle and went inside and request a refund since I had not received my order the the customers ahead and behind me had. I had a simple two piece fish basket for my spouse and I. When I went inside I notice only two tables with customers, and myself and the other other above mentioned vehicles in the drive up were the only other customers present at the establishment. I would understand if they were busy but this was not the case. After a few minutes or speaking to the person who seemed to be in charge I was given my refund and I departed. Now I know people don't seem to care but I will never visit this establishment again. If your losing money at this location I can certainly tell you why. Guessing its just a tax write off. I've never had a bad meal from here, everything is always fresh! Yes, it's almost all fried, but it's delicious nonetheless. I do miss the little crispies that used to come in every box of chicken though. The hushpuppies are by far my favorite but the fries are always good too. I don't know how this place isn't shut down by the board of health! Filthy dirty, had to ask for napkins, condiment cups, catsup. The tartar sauce pump was loose and broken. None of the tables were clean, had to ask for a cloth to clean the table. We were the only customers there when we arrived, no one was cleaning or stocking. The restaurant opened at 11:30 am for lunch and we arrived at 11:40 with no one in front of us. it took 10 minutes for staff to take our order. We waited 35 minutes for our food and there were about 20 customers in the restaurant still waiting when we left. one gentleman said they had been waiting 40 minutes. simply an awful experience. Do not go here! Stole my debit card in the drive thru. Manager defended the clerk. I gave the card and when he handed my food, he said "I don't have it." I checked my vehicle, looked everywhere else. Long John silvers food is oily, flavorless, and not worth eating. So many hidden upcharges on the menu to so the service ain't great.

Great service, hot fresh food. Green beans were fabulous. Yes it's fast food but my shrimp were cooked perfectly much more than I can say about other shrimp cooking restaurants. My fish were fresh, fries crispy and clam strips tender and delicious. The restaurant is super clean, restrooms are clean, and we didn't have to wait for 40 minutes to get a table. what more can you ask for? read more

I've never had Bad experience with LJS yet. Food has always been piping hot which is how I like all of my food. Always good customer service when ordering. Only issue I'd have IF any would be sometimes the fish is extra greasy from not being drained long enough, but it is deep fried and expected it to be greasy some but not overly greasy. All in all this is one of my Favorite places I LOVE To feast at. Now only if they had an All you can Eat Fish and Puppies on a certain day of the week or even once a month I'd join in on that lol read more

A great LJS-A&W facility, and they did good job of seeing that customers were getting their meal settings, condiments & food. No LJS food seems as good as it used to be, it seems to me? The seating here is excellent, with a variety of types, all in great condition. I was impressed with the staff of servers. read more

I have never felt discriminated against, until yesterday when a friend and I went to this LJS location. Placed our orders as dine-in and sat down at a table. My friend received her order fairly quickly. However the next number they called was 5 ahead of mine. So I sat a waited as they called the numbers out backwards. After they called out the # before mine, they jumped way ahead. So at that point I went to the counter to bring my dropped order to their attention.They were 3 African Americans.The manager Miranda, the male cook and 1 of the drive thru staff. First they didn't believe me,until I gave them my receipt. First by all 3 basically saying I was lying, then NO APOLOGIES from any of them for THEIR mistake. So I took my bag as carryout due to not having enough time to dine in. All 3 just started laughing. HORRIBLE Management & Customer service! I will not visit this location again!!! read more
