First time at Aspire. Loved the atmosphere.. there are places to eat outside & in. Large door opens to enjoy the outside also . Many different things to do. Axe throwing , corn hole, ete. Self service side & a wait staff side. Scale of 1-10 on the food.. which was just burgers . A three would be all I could muster up. Burgers were so tasteless. Wait staff were clueless. Giving it a 1 because the only good thing about this place was the pretzel appetizer. We were a party of 18 with a 12:30pm reservation made 4 weeks prior. Started off on a good note, asked if we could move tables together since the seating was separate; no problem. We ordered drinks, took a bit to get our drinks, no problem. Then ordered our food. 1/2 hr for the first 2 plates to come out another 15-20 minutes for another 2 plates to come out and this went on and on. They forgot one of our family member's food. We asked the waitress and server numerous times about the food and they were always checking on it. Eventually the food was brought out. Unwashed salad & dry chicken, the elote salad had gummy corn with an aftertaste & dry chicken, chicken and fish tacos just mehhhh, salmon just ok, burgers cooked too well done, soggy onion rings, pizza not good at all. Meanwhile another party that came in 1 hr after us, had all their food even before we had all ours We spoke to the waitress about the service, wasn't blaming her for the service at all, and asked to speak to the manager. Manager never came to talk to us. Eventually one of our family members found out who the manager was and went and spoke to her directly. The manager plainly stated that since there were a few big tables, things like this happens. Things like this should never happen if you had enough staff. And I believe that was the problem, not enough staff in the kitchen and on the floor. Wish I had taken some pics of the food, but it was nothing memorable. This venue is huge and sort of kid friendly. Lots of board games, axe throwing, corn hole and trivia (Thursday night). Loved the swinging chairs. We ordered self service through the app. Beers and food were not memorable. Burger was soggy by the time it came out. Salmon with veggies was too oily. Great that they had a kids menu. They just need to put the axes out of reach of children or lock the axe throwing cage for safety. read more

This is the 2nd time we were here and our experience was no better than the 1st time. There was a big party that I'm sure was booked well in advance and they did not have enough staff to handle the party & the restaurant patrons. The person who brought my drink spilt half on the table. I was expecting a fresh drink, but he never even came back to clean the spill, I did it with half the napkins. The food was nothing special! I've been here plenty of times before and this was probably my least favorite visit! The service was good, however the food didn't taste the best. The wings were good, but some of the bacon on the burger was extremely undercooked. My fried chicken sandwich did not taste good either. The chicken didn't taste very fresh and it was a bit chewy, and there was a small piece of black hair in the slaw. I noticed the waiters were wearing hats, so I can only hope the kitchen staff is also wearing some kind of protective head gear to prevent this from happening again. I know accidents happen, so I will be returning here, I just hope the next experience is a bit better. Oktoberfest beer is delicious. And peach cider is delicious. A lovely brewery which has a really versatile assortment of brews. The "Wish" hazy IPA was my favorite. There is something for everyone, from ales to pilsners. The food selections is so so versatile from bar food such as pretzels to expertly done salmon which I have had for the main course. The fried cauliflower with mango-habanero sauce is a a treat when it comes to appetizers. The ambiance is inviting, with spaciousness, and enough room to unwind. Sophia waited on us, and she was nothing short of excellent. Sophia was attentive without being intrusive. She checked in at just the right moments, made sure everything was taken care of, and allowed us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed or interrupted. This place order and pay on line. Food took half hour, 1 napkin for 2 of us when we asked. Drinks show up at end of meal. Bar never got order. Gave me a second free 12 ounce beer which I never touched. Guy comes out with a coke. I ordered a pilsners. He never returned. I finally had to go inside and ask for our drinks. The food was good, although 2 out of the 6 of our party had to take their fish sandwiches to go because they were served long after everyone else finished their big pretzels and pizzas. If someone had told us how long two sandwiches would take, we would have either ordered something that would come with everyone else's meal or cancel those two. She apologized and said they just came in. I when back waited another ten minutes. With two staff coming and going behind bar. Took forever to get our food. We got our appetizer 30 seconds before our entrees. The calamari was not good. Bland and overpriced. My mushroom burger was flavorless and in the middle it tasted weird so I could finish it. My husband did enjoy his burger, fries were ok. I don't usually write bad reviews anywhere, but this experience stands out as one of the worst. We had two waitresses, one who was a trainee who had no personality and the one who was training her. Trainee didn't smile. She was left alone to her own devices a few too many times even though she was being trained on their ordering system. We. Having never been here, I asked the hostess how I can get the TV changed and she said "oh, I have nothing to do with that. You've got to ask the bartender. " Still no idea where anything is I asked were the bar was and she rolled her eyes and said "in the bar area. " Still no idea where that was, but I figured it out. New York doesn't make it easy for the RV lifers, passing a law that limits stays in rest areas and service plazas to just three hours. Thank goodness for one of the RV membership organizations I won't mention. Today, that worked out really well. I arrived pretty late - 7:30 pm after a day of working, driving and exploring. It's a big parking lot and after I parked my Sprinter van, I popped inside for beer, food and wifi. Warmly welcomed by the hostess, I had a comfortable high top table with a power outlet nearby. They have QR codes and ordering on the app so my first beer arrived after a few minutes and then my plate of boneless chicken arrived five minutes later. The beer was cold and fresh. The chicken was hot and crispy and just the right amount of sauce. It's a family place with lots of kids running about, a bit higher volume of music than I would ordinarily prefer but everyone here seemed to be having a grand time. Upon entering the decor is intriguing. I went with family after hiking. We shared their nachos. They were different flavors from the norm but amazingly delicious! My sister had a mimosa which was very fresh and light. I drank a summer ale that was like drinking a cool summer night. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I was discouraged by my experience. It wasn't clear how the self-service side of the restaurant worked and nobody bothered to help me, as a trivia game was happening on the other side. I got here and the bar was packed, so I sat at a table. I had what I believe was a tangerine wheat beer that was good, but it was poured from a can. I had asked for a wheat or hefeweisen style beer on tap (had to repeat it), which I'm not sure if they didn't hear me or if it was a new employee or if they weren't familiar with this type of beer: this has never happened to me in all of CO or MI at any brewery, so it was weird. In the heart of Middleton NY you will find a newest brewery in the area. The build out is gorgeous and very open. They have games to enjoy, large tvs for viewing sports and couches for lounging and socializing. Although the menu is a little limited the items we did have lunch taco, pizza and sandwich were all good. We had good service and may go back with a larger group to enjoy the games onsite. read more
