I cannot recommend this pharmacy enough! They are affordable, fast, helpful, and friendly! The customer service was absolutely amazing. The staff called me as soon as my prescription was ready and even offered to ship my meds free of charge. I was prescribed a weight loss injection recently and was told by my doctor that long prairie pharmacy had the most affordable price and he was absolutely right - it was so much cheaper than any other pharmacy! Been using this place for a while now, overall I like it and it's affordable. I feel like I confuse them when I call and ask for a refill of my birth control. I asked on the phone if I could just have it auto refilled every month and I couldn't get a straight answer, so I've been calling in my own prescription every month, sometimes I get the "we don't have enough, we will have it in a day or two" response. Today I went in 4 hours after my dermatologist called (digitally requested) in a basic, common antibiotic and they seemed to know nothing about it. I had to wait a total of 20 minutes to pick it up after giving them 4 hours to fill it. And I had to spell my name several times, confirm my first name several times, and tell them what doctor's office sent in the script. -_-*. Beyond frustrating. My reasoning? They don't seem to do the digital requests well, but handle the phones like champs (or like chickens with their heads cut off). And they seem to be training someone new. So there's room for improvement, significant in this day and age, but not enough to lose any more stars. I look forward to giving them a 5 star in the future when they're a little more settled and advanced. read more

I had been using Long Prairie Pharmacy as a mail-order pharmacy for about three years with no issues. However, this week I ordered a prescription refill and they shipped me an empty envelope. When I called the pharmacy to rectify the error, the first customer service representative put me on hold, then disconnected the call without returning. I called a second time and got a manager on the phone. To say she was rude would be an understatement. She made no effort to understand the situation and was dismissive. After talking over me several times, she hung up the phone. Now I'm out the cost of the prescription and have no product. I will fight the charge to my credit card, but I'm not sure that will work. So I urge you not to use this pharmacy for mail order as something is very amiss there. read more

Was wanting to try a new pharmacy in my area, so I picked this lovely establishment. I arrived at 6:31, but soon realized the doors locked at 6:30. I looked inside this grand pharmacy and saw five employees looking at me from the inside, just staring like I was a crazy lady. After seeing this, none of the employees had the nerve to come up and say "sorry we are closed". Even more, I started my car and saw the ups guy come up and back his truck into the place. They girl was standing guard of the door to make sure she could let the ups guy in, but not allow me to walk in. GLAD THE MEDICINE WAS NOT LIFE SAVING OR ANYTHING. I LOVE this place. It's a locally owned business. Two young women - the Rx are turned in 10 mins and if they don't have something you need, they can get it next day! One of the owners, Jessica, was behind the desk today helping me, she stayed on hold for my Dr. for 15 mins because my Dr. forgot to send one of my prescriptions! I really like this pharmacy, and go out of my way to fill medications here. The staff is friendly, they fill things right away when you need it and have gone above and beyond for me in the past. The owner obviously cares about his clients. It just feels so much friendlier, cleaner, and more personal than a chain or grocery store. The only negative is I wish their hours were more competitive. read more

I have been using this pharmacy since it was opened under a different owner. Even though they have switched ownership I have never experienced anything but greatness from the staff. They have filled quickly every time Ive been in there and sometimes I have gone in there with 4-5 prescriptions. They call when they have any issues and also call when my prescriptions are ready if I didn't stay to get them. I have learned recently thay they have gotten extremely busy but I have not experienced any lack of inabilities to do recieve the same greatness that I have been getting along. I sure does beat waiting hours for prescriptions at other larger companies such as CVS & Walgreens. So if ever I have to wait more then 15 mins then I'm still happy as a lark. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for over a year and have never had a bad experience w/them. They fill my script in a timely manner and always have my prescription on in stock for refills even though it's not a very common medication. The first time I went they didn't carry my med but had it there the next day by 1:00 and every month since. I'll never use cvs or Walgreens again if I can help it. read more

They worked with my doctor and my insurance company to get a prescription down from over $500 for my share to a $10 copay. Previously I'd had the basically the same prescription at CVS and just had not filled it because it wasn't a medication I needed, it was just one I wanted to improve my life. They took a an extra day or two to do it, but for that kind of savings on a script that I wanted to fill every other month I'm quite happy! read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I was called when the pharmacy had a hard time processing my payment. I was told that the transaction did not go through and that they needed another credit card in order to get my prescription out for delivery the next day. Again, I was told the initial payment did not go through....so I gave them another credit card. I was also told that if I duplicate charge was made I could call in and they would fix it for me. Upon checking my credit card statements I was double charged. I called and inquired with them about getting a refund to a specific credit card. I was requested to send one screenshot of my bank statement for the credit card I needed a refund on....even though I do not believe this is a normal business practice for any company I went along with it. I was then text later that day and asked to send both bank statements for both credit cards charged. They did not like the first screenshot I sent and asked me to send specific ones with my account number. No apology for the inconvenience. I told them the best I could do was give them screenshots of the last 4 digits of my credit card. All of these requests made me quite skeptical of their business practices. The next day I get another call that they accidentally processed the refund back to the wrong credit card and that I would see multiple pending charges. At this point, I no longer possessed patience to just let it go and told the employee that I have never had this many issues with getting a prescription, let alone a refund for a duplicate charge. I also said that I should have just filed a dispute with my credit card company. The employee then said to me that I should have and it would have been easier. This infuriated me...I asked him who it would have been easier for and he said everyone. I told him it should have been as simple as me calling them and them refunding one of the double charges. On top of that, the employee who processed my initial payment told me to call them if I had a duplicate charge. It happens all the time and people do not usually have to have multiple calls or provide screenshots to prove they are not lying. He then attempted to continue his defense...I immediately cut him off and asked to speak with a manager. I waited and when he got back on the line he said the manager was in a meeting and what they could do was refund my entire co-pay of $15. At this point it is not about the money, they did not even have decent enough customer service to have the proper chain of authority deal with my complaint and I felt like they essentially tried to buy my silence by waiving my co-pay. Although I like the idea of an at home delivery of medication I hope that I never have to use this company again. This is not how you treat or talk to your customers. Should I not get a full refund for all charges made to my credit cards I will be calling again and I will ensure that I speak with a manager. read more

I have a prescription that has a $75 copay at my pharmacy. My doctor told me he was going to send it to Long Prairie Pharmacy, and that I would get it for less. Later that day, Long Prairie Pharmacy texted me and said to call to finalize my order. When I called, they informed me the copay was $20, and that they would ship it to me at no charge! I have used this pharmacy for about 4 years or so. I used to have no issues until recently. For the past 6 months or so, every person that works there that I have dealt with has been incompetent and completely unhelpful. I am constantly getting wrong information and I always have problems getting my prescriptions refilled. From my amount due being tripled to not being able to get my prescription refilled at all with no answer as to why, this place is a mess. Have been trying to get a prescription for days. On hold multiple times today for more than 20 minutes. They insisted they hadn't received one of my RXs when both were on the same order. After three calls from the doctor to the pharmacy, they evidently finally have the RX filled but now I can't get them on the phone to get it sent. They may have low prices but this level of hassle is inexcusable. This is off the shelf stuff, no compounding required. What a mess. I want to find another source! read more

My daughter's doctor uses this pharmacy and it is the worst pharmacy. We waited and waited. I called on 7/28/17 3 days after it was supposed to be delivered on 7/25. After all the run around from not able to find the information to was told that it was delivered when we did not receive it. The staff told me the time and date it was delivered and said they will check with the courier. I called again today 8/3 to check on the status because no one has returned my calls. Again I was told that there's nothing they can do since it was delivered. I have cameras at my front door so I asked what if I cannot find anyone then what will you do. The staff said I will have to contact the courier myself. What a pathetic reply! I've checked the camera and no one came around the date and time that was given. I didn't hire the courier so why it is my responsibility to investigate this matter. You don't think that the courier makes mistakes. I will be happy to send over the camera footage. read more
