First let me say the store part is fine and well run. This is strictly about the pharmacy. Where to begin. Well let's start with HIPPA violations. I called because I had an order in limbo AGAIN. This literally happens every month. The gentleman who picked up went over my prescriptions by name and all without verifying who I was. When I asked a question that required him to go into the system he finally verified me. I'm guessing that's because the system won't let them in without answers to the verification questions. The thing is, I didn't need to know anything about my prescriptions other than where they were. He didn't listen to what I initially asked which led to the HIPPA issues. When he finally listened we were able to find the delivery order was just like I said it was but nobody in the pharmacy had processed it. Again this happens every single month. I only go to Walgreens because my benefit plan switched from Kroger to Walgreens. It has been an absolute disaster. The people I've encountered in the pharmacy have been rude in some cases, liars in some cases and inept in all cases. They need to clean house and start over. I'm going to switch to a different location that's out of my way to see if it's this location or a systemic issue within Walgreens. And the App is absolute trash. Worst app in their industry by far. read more

Really need to have more pharmacists. Waited 35 minutes past my appointment time for vaccine. Pharmacy was very busy only 1 pharmacist on. From what I heard they were at least 45 minutes behind filling medications too. Pharmacy staff were fine for being under a lot of pressure. read more

Pretty clean, nice workers and a well stocked candy section. We were there to get your basic junk food raid and they have plenty of snacks and candies to choose from. The store was clean and organized. Not too much to say except that it's shopper friendly! Love the fact get carry different varieties of chocolates, confections and even the multitude of Sour Patch brand flavors. read more

This is my absolute favorite pharmacy! Mr. Santhoush, the Pharmacist, goes above and beyond the call of duty to help with any problems I might have in getting refills for my prescriptions. And he is SO nice and polite! I would only go to another pharmacy if I absolutely HAD to! I would like to add that I have gotten first-class customer service from other employees at this particular location. read more

Everyone knows that the famous pharmacy chains in USA are CVS and Walgreens. But I feel Walgreens is more organized and easy to browse when compared to the CVS. This outlet is located on MacArthur and Meadow creek Dr next to the Taco-bell and Chick-A-Fila. The biggest plus about this store is the location. Like any other walgreens store this store also contains the standard set of good but difference with the other store is that this store is very clean and most of the time deserted. The staffs working at this outlet are really amazing. They take the time out to ensure that the customers are really helped. The Printer at the Photo-booth is top class. I would suggest people get their pictures / posters done here. The negative part about this store is that the staffs are very strict on their time. They do not wish to stay the extra minute and close their pharmacy at the top of the minute. read more

This pharmacy has hands down the worst customer service of any establishment I have ever visited. Slow, rude, and completely unhelpful. They were better off keeping it closed because the staff is a waste of salary. Better training and better vetting of potential employees is needed, and fast. read more

This store has always been just ok in my opinion, but recently I had an amazing experience. I was sick and couldn't go anywhere and desperately needed some water and other supplies. I placed a mobile order and when I got to the parking lot a very nice gentleman brought me a bag full of groceries and a case of water and told me that they didn't have anything from my original order so I wouldn't be charged but was giving me these items for free instead. So generous and even told me he hoped I felt better. He could just tell from my order that I wasn't feeling well. More Walgreens should take after this kind of customer service. I haven't seen him before so maybe he is new, but I will definitely continue to shop here just because of this one awesome employee. read more

There are some serious customer service issues going on at this pharmacy. I called to clarify a medication for a patient and staff at this pharmacy kept picking the phone up and placing me on hold without saying anything. They did this at least 6 times in a row. I was on the phone for at least 10 minutes and never got through to anyone. I have placed a written complaint. I've never experienced this level of unprofessionalism from a pharmacy. read more

When trying to redeem my coupon for $5 off, I was treated in the most appalling way by an associate named Hans and the manager Erika. As I was being told to shut up by this associate the manager Erika observed and continued checking Out other patrons. I had to ask her to intervene as her associate yelled at and cussed at me in a store full of people. I have never seen such blatant disregard and disrespect as I did with my experience that day. Corporate should take a look into the associates and management of this location. read more

This location has been filling my prescriptions for about four years and there are always problems. Last week was my last visit to this location and it was another terrible experience. The Pharmacy area has bugs flying around that look like the type that lay eggs and larvae which is a major health concern where pills are being counted. The floors have not been swept in what looks like weeks and while waiting for my prescription to be filled, I listen to multiple customers being told mistakes were made and the Phamacy Techs had to apologize for these mistakes. The Pharmacy is putting these individuals in an uncomfortable position. If you enjoy waiting in a long and slow line, this is the store for you. In the afternoon there was 16 people waiting in line and 5 cars in line. The Pharmach Tech called me up to let me know my prescription had been filled but could not sell me the drug because no Phamacist was available with the barcode. All Phamacists had taken a break at the same time while all these people were waiting. What a frustrating experience! I contacted the Texas Pharmacy Board about the cleanliness issues, called corporate to file a formal complaint, close my Balance Rewards account and walgreens.com account, and transferred my prescriptions to another Pharmacy. read more

Went and got some photos developed here last February, explained to the employee I was moving so I would need to get the photos soon to which he went an extra step of calling the developer to ensure I could get my photos before leaving town. Due to an error on my part I was unable to pick up the photos. I called the store 2 weeks later and explained my situation now I live i n a different city) to the manager who promptly asked for my address and mailed me my photos right away. Both employees went above and beyond due to my high maintenance needs. Rare in this industry, bravo gents. read more

The pharmacy staff is extremely slow which is fine because medication is super important but what the real problem is is how unfriendly they are also. You get in the line and no one else in line and 3-4 of them are working and no one acknowledges you or says they will be right with you nothing just act like you are not there. The pharmacy folks here are fantastic. It's a stressful job (dealing with sick people, insurance companies, doctors' offices -- it's like they hit the trifecta of potentially difficult groups), but, they are kind, patient, and fast. They aren't perfect, but, who is (I have to remind them often that one of my rx's goes through insurance while the other goes through a cash-pay discount number in their system.) Bottom line is that they work hard, they are nice, and responsive/responsible -- which doesn't describe many higher-volume drugstores today. read more

Strictly rating the pharmacy The 3 individuals working this evening were amazing. There were several customers there tonight and the employees were very efficient! It was obvious the primary pharmacist cared about his customers. I came in for a shot and waited less than 10 minutes before receiving it. Once I got into their health room, I was out within 3-4 minutes. Meanwhile, I called CVS Pharmacy right down the street beforehand to see if they could administer my shot. They told me I could and there was not much of a wait. When I got there, the clinic was booked for days and I could not even schedule an appointment! This pharmacy has the nicest and most helpful pharmacists I have ever been to! Both pharmacists went out of their way to get my prescriptions transferred from another state. When they heard my husband recently had surgery, they went out of their way to make sure his prescriptions that were needing refilled were processed too. read more

They told me it would take 45 minutes to fill my prescription. Nothing unusual right! Wrong! I went to pick it up after 3hrs. It was still NOT ready. They wanted me to come back after another hour and half later. I had called ahead to make sure they had my medication in stock. So four hours for filling a prescription. read more

Limited bottled water selections. Consider Dasani and Smart water brands. Also, don't have all the chip brands in the world, but very limited dip brands. Pharmacy has the worst customer service EVER!!!! Stood in line waiting for almost 20 minutes while 4 employees walked back and forth NEVER acknowledging me. They completely ignore their customers. A customer at the drive thru was ringing the bell for about 10 minutes and all they did was walk by and look over without bothering to talk to the customer. It wasn't until I finally asked how long the wait was that I got serviced. Then when I asked the tech thought they could loud and try to argue with me. Zero professionalism, zero customer service just plain out sucks! Don't bother coming to this pharmacy. read more

Clean and generally okay. The only thing I really dislike about this particular store is located awkwardly. You have to drive around the building to exit south if you don't want to make a u-turn futher up MacArthur. This location also has a coffee maker! Totally convenient and affordable. read more

Got to the CVS just north of here and my wife texted me that I left my wallet at home. I checked and they no longer take Apple Pay. I drove down to this Walgreens and talked to the manager. She was very friendly and rang me up. It was my first time to use Apple Pay and was an amazing experience. I feel like I'm living in the future! read more

The pharmacy here has one single line for drop-offs, pick-ups and purchases. There are only 2 staff people working and they are being their usual amount of rude. The line is 8 people long and that's just the customers that didn't just walk out. Avoid this. read more
