The view from our outside seating, late April as the clouds moved in..

Looks like all the construction is done and the parking lot is finally cleared. Finding a handicap spot upfront was easy. It is still a bit of a walk to get to the restaurant. This could be back on our favored list because the food was excellent today. I had the shrimp and fries platter. The shrimp were huge and beautifully butterflied and my wife had a shrimp and vegetable platter. The tuna bites were done to a perfection, as ordered, red in the middle. None of the cocktails seemed appealing, so we went with beer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The server was spot on and the view from the deck was relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a very neat place that I have decided to check out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience of this place feels like a very good social space for friends and family, especially during the summer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was very good and my sever was good with brining my food on time and the other staff were great at checking on me. The burger I got was delicious, it was a great mixture of fruity and salty tastes. I would totally recommend checking this place out.

Tucked away with a beautiful view, good food is AND strong drinks?! Sign me up! Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. We order a bowl of she crab soup (9/10, wish there was a bit more crab), the lunch special grilled chicken caesar wrap (10/10, & it's served with fries), the longboard club sandwich (9/10, & served with soup) and last but not least, the blue raspberry cosmo, which was strong and delicious (10/10!) Service was decent even though things started to pick up after being there for a few minutes. I'd definitely come back again and sit outside next time to take in more of the view.

Such a cute spot to get food and drinks! I had been eyeing this place for so long and finally got to try it. We went around sunset time and sat outside. The view by the water was so relaxing and cute. We ordered a blue raspberry cosmo (10/10, was strong but still good), Crab mac and cheese appetizer (10/10), Lava burger (7/10, a little bland), and the Fried fish tacos with rice and beans and mac salad (8/10, lacked in flavor a little but was still decent). Total bill was $70. Overall, we enjoyed our food and definitely are gonna return to try some other items and their lunch/happy hour. Our waitress was really nice also. My overall rate of experience : 7.5/10

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Longboards is such a great restaurant with beautiful views of the marina and water.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, always on top of everything which made the experience even better. They have some really nice happy hour deals, and we started off with the crab dip. As a Maryland girl, I thought the flavor was delicious, but it could have used way more crab. For my meal, I had the shrimp tacos and they were an absolute 10/10--fresh, flavorful, and definitely something I'd come back for. Between the service, views, and food, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Wanted a decent place with a friend and boy was I disappointed to the max. Don't let the ambiance by the water and all fool you. We sat down ordered few beers and got our food. Crab dip - creamy and savory! Bread was seasoned with old bay..good, but salty parts. Overall good. Fish and chips - worst I've had in my life. The "fish" was about less than half an inch thick, and didn't fill the breading, which leads me to believe it's been sitting in the fridge and old. That's usually what happens when it's sitting on the shelf. Shrivels up and becomes dry. See pictures. Also, one? I always at a minimum get two. The sides..coleslaw had potential. Good sauce, but you can see the translucent cabbage. It's screaming old vegetables. Would rather have coleslaw from KFC. Fries? Not hard to mess up. It was fine. Service was good. Staff are friendly! I'd say come here for beer and maybe some fries and that's about it. Never coming back.

Parking is very difficult due to all the construction. Be prepared to park on the street. Not a long time waiting. More guys working the floor than I've ever seen and this is a top five business for me. Music is soft and its slightly busy for lunch. Food was okay.... I ordered the chicken wing special with fries. It was okay. I'm used to the food here being top notch. This won't stop me from coming, could've just been a day.

I love Longboard's but I just can't eat there anymore. I use to love the fish and chips. Over cooked..... Now Burger night.... The fries are so over cooked I thought I was going to break a tooth. The staff and folks are wonderful but the food really needs some help.

The island ambiance is relaxed, fun, and a cool place to have dinner and drinks. The bar tender was awesome, she gave us great food recommendations and didn't disappoint! Everything tasted fantastic! I was so full but I couldn't stop eating. We came back a second time and was still so tasty! There is a lot going on in the area as far as construction but it is a cute restaurant next to the marina with a pretty view.

Lunch was good, service was kind of slow. One member of our party didn't get their food until the rest of us were midway through.

It was challenging to find parking but thankfully, we were able to find a spot right in the front. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were seated right away. With it being lunch time, we assumed we would be able to grab some lunch but to our surprise, they were serving brunch and we were only able to order off the brunch menu. We were slightly confused and definitely didn't have taste for breakfast items so we had to choose from a small selection of non-breakfast items. We started with Palomas. The drink menu only included the drink prices for Happy Hour, and it definitely wasn't Happy Hour, so we weren't sure how much the drinks were. The server mentioned one price, then came back and told us another price but either way, all that would've been eliminated if the prices were on the menu. After looking over the brunch menu, my friend didn't see anything appetizing so she asked if they could make a BLT Sandwich, which wasn't on the menu, and they agreed. I decided on the Crab Cake Sandwich. The food was served in decent time. My friend had an end piece of tomato on her sandwich, which was disappointing. Our server took her sweet time checking on us so and we literally had to flag down another server just to get ketchup. My sandwich didn't even come with remoulade sauce that was supposed to be added. I did enjoy my sandwich though, it was very tasty. I also ordered the Bourbon Glaze Wings 'to-go' and they were delicious. From not being able to order from a lunch menu, to our server not being attentive at all, our experience wasn't that great. We also had to battle flies the entire time we were there, and we were sitting inside so that was a bit frustrating. The restaurant is located right by the Marina and it has great views but the service left a lot to be desired. I may return for dinner in hopes of a better experience but it probably won't be any time soon.

The server had to maneuver to get around them. As far as our meal, the rib eye was great! Beautiful cut of beef, yet the butter was way too much and over powered the taste. Way too greasy. This does have the potential to be an amazing restaurant but the other factors really do come in to play when dining. And adding 20% tip to a 4 top was a bit much. The server would have received a larger tip if it wasn't added. Without telling me. I would like to try it again and hopefully not have the negative factors ruin the experience.

This was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last. We were fortunate to grab two seats at the bar--our favorite place to dine--and from the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller, which arrived piping hot. The oysters were large, flavorful, and perfectly prepared--a wonderful way to begin the evening. Our Caesar salads followed shortly thereafter. Crisp romaine, fresh ingredients, and a well-balanced dressing made for another excellent course. For our entrées, we both chose the steak and lobster tail. My wife paired hers with the grilled asparagus, while I opted for the loaded mashed potatoes. Every component of the meal was cooked exactly as ordered, seasoned beautifully, and absolutely delicious. To top off the evening, the staff surprised my wife with a complimentary slice of cake garnished with fresh strawberries and mixed berries to help celebrate her birthday. It was a thoughtful gesture that made an already memorable evening feel even more special. Prime 757 delivered exceptional food, outstanding service, and a warm atmosphere that made my wife's birthday celebration one we'll remember for a long time. Since there was an hour wait at that restaurant, we decided on HK on the Bay. Thankfully, there wasn't a wait at all so we were seated right away. They offer normal bar-type food like wings, fries, nachos and egg rolls but they also offer meatloaf, fajitas, chicken & dumplings and seafood as well. I decided on the Crab Dip, Loaded Brussels Basket and Southwest Egg Rolls and my friend ordered the HK Rolls and a side of Garlic Risotto. The food was served fairly quickly and everything was pretty good. The Loaded Brussels were my favorite; however, I probably wouldn't get the Gouda on it next time. I tasted my friend's HK Rolls and they weren't bad, not my favorite though. Since it was Wednesday, I inquired about their "$.75 Wing Deal" and the server said the deals are over at 9pm, even though they close at 10pm. I thought that was very odd to end their specials before the place closed and since it was a little after 9pm, it would've been nice to know that in advance. Overall, we had a nice experience. HK definitely seems like a local's favorite. The food is tasty, the place is clean and the staff is very nice.

My girlfriend and her mom picked bubba's out of our list of about 20. We got there alittle early for dinner. That was a blessing because it got really busy right as we were finishing up. The oyster rockafeller i was told was the best hes had. The shrimp dinner looked amazing and it was more than she could eat. My girlfriend got the stuffed halibut and frys... fish looked great and she said it was good. Frys were of the beer battered type. I ordered a half dozen of raw local clams... id say above average. We started with the she crab soup and the half-pound of steamed shrimp, and both were outstanding. The she crab soup was rich and flavorful, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and absolutely drool-worthy. My boyfriend ordered the grilled salmon, and after trying a bite, I have to admit I was a little jealous--it was phenomenal! I ordered the scallops with peppers, onions, and cucumbers. The scallops themselves were cooked perfectly, but the cucumber flavor just wasn't for me. That's purely a personal preference, not a reflection of the quality. My biggest disappointment was the coleslaw, which seemed more like lightly shredded lettuce with a drizzle of Marzetti's dressing than traditional coleslaw. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the food or the view. We waited quite a while before anyone acknowledged our table, and after our order was taken, we never saw our server again until the check arrived. There were no drink refills, no check-in to see how our meals were, and no thank you at the end. Overall, Bubba's has some incredible food and an unbeatable waterfront atmosphere, but the inconsistent service and a couple of underwhelming menu items kept it from being a great experience. It wasn't the best meal I've had, but it certainly wasn't the worst either. I'd definitely come back--for the appetizers, the salmon, and that beautiful view.

The last time I set foot inside their Pleasure House Rd location was at least 10 years ago. I celebrated my birthday there as my friends were kind enough to take me out. It was a Sunday morning and I sought out a place that offered brunch. I noticed 1608 was open and decided to head over, especially since I haven't visited them in ages. When I walked in, I noticed their dining room is dimly lit - much darker than I remember. I was greeted immediately by a kind hostess and she proceeded to sit me at a nearby table and provided me with menus (one food, one alcohol). I took my time looking over the food menu, and in the meantime I ordered a pint of Center of the Universe's Bald Irishman and a bottle of Boylan's Black Cherry soda (they do not have a soda fountain). What made this visit memorable was that 1608's bartender, Hunter, was an old acquaintance from back in my restaurant days. He spotted me and came over to say hi. After my meal, I continued to catch up with him at the bar. His presence made a pleasant experience even more fantastic. I thought I was hungry, so I ordered 2 dishes - Smoked Ham Fried Rice and the Breakfast Burrito. According to Hunter, every item is made fresh in house. After biting into each, you could tell that's true. Both the fried rice and burrito were delicious and boasted lots of flavor. Although I prefer my fried rice a bit simpler (if you give me just garlic fried rice, I am SET), 1608's fried rice (veggies, garlic, soy, basmati rice, 2 runny eggs, smoked ham) had a lot going on, which made for a flavorful dish. I liked the rice and the burrito (Korean style fried chicken breast, scrambled eggs, cilantro lime, cheddar, pico de gallo) a lot. I didn't finish either because it was a lot of food (I really thought I was hungry, haha). But these leftovers turned into a fantastic dinner later on. 1608 looked clean and organized, although I thought it was a little too dark inside, at least for brunch service. That's not a dealbreaker since everything from the food to the service was as excellent as I remember. I hope to return soon with my mom. Regardless, I'll find my way back eventually. Thank you, 1608 Crafthouse! And great seeing you again, Hunter! JV

I think the officer was on the phone(?) with someone but it wasn't obvious so people seemed to keep pausing to figure out if he was speaking to them. When I got inside I saw a big group which seemed to be a bit annoyed because they couldn't get seated until the rest of their party arrived. I do understand restaurants wanting to seat the whole table at the same time but it did make the entrance/exit a bit crowded for everyone else. I didn't look around inside too much but did see empty tables. I approached the two people at the front desk about my pick-up order and they pointed me to a different pick-up desk (with two more people there). They had maybe ten bags of pick-up orders but were able to find mine quickly. I was pretty glad to get out of there quickly and enjoy our food at home.
