The only downside was the number of flies. I understand it's summertime and that can be hard to control, but it was noticeable enough to take away from the experience a bit. The food is consistently excellent, and the menu has a great variety, although I almost always end up ordering the barbecue because it's just that good. My favorite item by far is the smoked chicken wings with the dry rub--they're some of the best wings I've had anywhere. The ribs and brisket are also outstanding and never disappoint. The service can be a little hit or miss depending on the day, but the quality of the food keeps us coming back. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, whether you're grabbing a seat at the bar, settling into one of the comfortable booths, or enjoying the patio on a warm summer evening. It's great to have a restaurant of this quality so close to home instead of always heading into Minneapolis or St. Paul. We've been back many times and will continue to be regulars. The food came out fairly quickly and everyone seemed satisfied with their orders. I can't speak to the Bourbon selection but the bar area had a lot of different bottles so I can't speak imagine the selection has something for any taste.
