While eating at this bar, my wife was sexually harassed by one of other customers. It was loud, persistent, and in front of many other staff members. When I called the Manager the next day to complain, the Manager told me that it was on my wife to say something that night, completely victim blaming. What I understand after talking to the Manager is that if you are sexually harassed at this bar then it is up to you defend yourself and the staff are not trained in nor care about creating a safe environment for everyone wanting to be there. As another side experience, that is not as important as the safety at this restaurant, we waited two hours for our food. They were very busy so we were understanding. However, when the food came out they told us that they ran out of the food my sister in law has ordered.... AFTER they had made everyone else's food. They asked if she wanted anything else but said it would probably be another long wait... We left. read more

We came on a Monday night, which is apparently also Bingo night. So beware. I think it starts around 7. We got there at 6, hoping to be out of there before Bingo started but service was not quick. Food took forever to come out. And Bingo can get loud. We did get some drinks while we waited. I think the hubby and I got an blonde and a cider from their tap. Met up with some friends, who are regulars here but apparently not usually on a Monday. The hubby and I ended up splitting a cup of their soup of the day (potato sausage) and the Shepard's pie entrée. The food was a bit disappointing. I dunno, maybe our friends hyped it up too much for us. The soup was just meh - literally like a cream based soup with chunks of potato and breakfast sausage crumbles. Little flavor also. The Shephard's pie was ground beef, with some canned corn mixed in, and topped with three scoops of mashed potatoes. It also came with a side of corn or coleslaw. I didn't know there was already corn in the Shephard's pie - I think it usually has peas and carrots. But we got the corn side. It was so bland - no flavor or salt. Should've gotten the coleslaw. For the pie, I thought the ground beef was good, seasoned at least, but it didn't have enough gravy. I didn't notice it at first - but my friend noticed and flagged the wait staff to bring some extra gravy. The corn didn't really add anything - except a different texture. But again - no flavor. The mashed potatoes were also pretty bland and I wish there was more, like covering the whole dish - instead of just 3 scoops. It was not a great meal. Maybe stick with their sandwiches and burgers, like our friends did, or any of the bar type food. read more

I like coming in here every once in a while to do Vingo and sometimes Trivia with my buddy. It's a fun little bar with good food. I get a little picky about my food and drinks and the staff is good enough to help me with what I want. Thanks for putting up with me. Haha read more

Overall this is one of the worst meals I've ever had. Farmington Steakhouse is on vacation this week so there weren't a ton of appealing options in the immediate area .... My issue with a lot of restaurants is that they cook their burgers until they are well done and dry and that happens here as well. So my choices become appetizers, wraps or pizza. I liked the Leprechaun Legs (green beans) and Reuben Rolls the best. Both were nicely done appetizers. My husband liked the French Dip but not the bland au jus sauce. Quesadillas were average. Absolutely horrible service. We stood there for over 10 minutes and nobody said a word to us. Went to the bar and spoke with the manager who said everyone is staying for Vingo and to wait and see if something opens at the bar. Told him I am disabled and unable to sit at a bar stool. Told us too bad. In the past they had put out a table for us as we were regulars but new manager doesn't seem to care. Food was finally starting to get better. Oh well. Don't care about your regular customers and we stop caring about spending our money there. Stopped in tonight for a quick dinner with the family. This place is always hit and miss. Tonight was no exception. The place was dead, the wild gam had just ended and there was no one in the place. The food came up not great. My sons mini corn dogs were burnt and my steak sandwich was crazy salty and way over cooked. They did do the right thing and change the corn dogs for a grilled cheese. And they took my sandwich off the bill. So that was all good. It is hard to go over 2 stars on this place. We have been going for a long time and we just never know what quality of food we will get when we walk in. read more

I guess what I expected. Went here for lunch today around 1230 on a Wednesday. Decided to get the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries. The wrap was OK, always disappointed when restaurants use hot sauce instead of Buffalo sauce. The fries were pretty good, thin and crispy which I enjoyed. Service was OK, food came out in a timely matter but any service after that was slow. Our waitress even said "i feel like I'm neglecting you!" when she came to refill my empty water, but she was sweet when she came aroumd. All in all, it was decent. read more

Celts is one of my favorite places when im in town, which isn't often, and I was very disgusted with one of the bartenders behavior and interactions with not only myself, but some of the other costumers as well this past Thursday. She was short with me, nasty tone and gave off terrible vibes all night. It's hard to enjoy a rare night out when you're surrounded with such negativity. If I see her working a shift the next time I'm in town, I'll promptly take my business elsewhere. read more

My mom and I went to Celts in Farmington for dinner last week. The food was good. I had the Bacon Blue sliders and they were delicious. Fries were good too. My mom had the quesadilla and she thought that was very good. Our service was excellent. Opal was our waitress and she was attentive and friendly. You could tell that she cared that we were happy with everything. It was a very good experience and we'll certainly be back. read more

We moved to this area about 6 months ago. We love finding little small town bars/restaurants to eat at. I can say that I am happy we found this place. We have been twice on a Sunday evening to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs. Great service, food was above average, and the people there make for a warm, inviting place to spend a few hours. The only complaint I have is the patio. It feels cramped, and uncomfortable. If they could find a way to eliminate that issue, I would give 5 stars. Either way, I recommend you try the Teriyaki Wings, they are amazing! read more

My son had a swim meet in Farmington here. We just want to get a couple appetizers and chill out a little bit in between his events. I was terrified going in because it was on a Sunday and the cheese heads were going against the Vikes at this time. I do enjoy football, but... I just want a bite and some ability to speak to my family member without resort to yelling at one another like a Democrat convention on their feelings about the Donald. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprise the place were not packed or very loud. We ordered some Buffalo wings and battered cheese curds. Both were plentiful and crispy. The Blue cheese had real cheese chunks which made me happy. We will definitely come back when the next swim meet in Farmington. read more

Would give them a 0 rating. Farmington location; Very Disappointed with being totally ignored by your staff. We showed up and were looking for a table for 6-7. Asked for a table to be cleared, was never done, then tried to put two tables together and told we could not do that either. We ended up going to the back room and sat waiting for 1.5 hours while we had a meeting, never to have a server come back for drinks or food. Talking with several in our group, they have also had negative experiences with Celts - Farmington. We as a local Scout organization were trying to support a local establishment. My wife had a patty melt and she said it was great though, I had the gyro and it was not fresh, if you want gyro go to Farmington steak house theirs is much better, this was processed strip meat that had very little flavor and is not "piled high", we both got the upgraded waffle fries that were exactly the same texture and flavor as our kids fries and they were terrible, at best, skinny flavor less and cold. We moved here a little over a year ago and tried this restaurant right away. Our first impression was "meh", the food was hot - but nothing to rave about. The waitress came by our table 1 time other than to drop off food. A few months later we walked in for lunch, there were a few people around the bar and a bartender. My husband and I stood at the door waiting for someone to approach us (we weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves?). No one ever did, we ended up leaving. Today we tried it for a 3rd time. We walked in for breakfast, the place was packed. There was a 6 top open and a high bar table open (but was dirty). We stood at the door before finally a waitress yelled (from 2 tables away) that all she had was that table (the dirty bar table) available. We were supposed to sit at a dirty table? Stopped in with a girlfriend after our daughters headed off to prom. The food was ok, probably a 1.5 star rating, but our server was exceptional. Mariah had a great personality, was as quick as she could be with a slow kitchen, and kept our beverages full. Will only sit in her area the next time we go....but if the management doesn't get their food and kitchen problems taken care of we won't be back. read more
