To Dr. Libbi and her fantastic team, For their careful treatment on my first visit at their location. As long as I've lived in California I've had a family dentist that took care of me since I was six years old! Once I got to 23 I began to stray from there and ultimately I stopped visiting dentists for two years cold turkey. I moved to Washington late 2017 and gained health benefits at my new job and found that this location takes my premium. I easily arranged an appointment with the receptionist and she literally took care of everything. Date, time, and registration of a new patient all on one phone call. Now onto the greatest part about this review my actual experience at the office. The parking was very easy which is a huge plus to me all the time. The office was tidy and didn't have any scary images of terrible teeth in the lobby! (the childhood place did, it freaked me out) Once I checked in it only took three minutes to be seen and the rest was smooth sailing. The equipment used at Dr. Libbi's office is modern and to an outsiders eye of their profession beyond state of the art. No historic x-ray machines and definitely no tools that make an insane sonic noise that ring your ears to death. Leaving me feeling very comfortable from beginning to end. My teeth were examined and cleaned first before Dr. Libbi assisted in the final touch ups of the process. They even assisted in removing some filler material the childhood dentist did not remove from my Invisalign setup. Every six to ten minutes they'll ask if you're doing okay and my answer was always "YES!" Couldn't be better. To end this review I just want to thank this excellent staff for taking a guy who was scared of the dentist to finding that I can trust a new team and definitely their state of the art equipment. The equipment and comforting surrounding really made the visit effortless. Can't forget to mention they do small talk, very well actually! Each team member actually wanted to talk beyond a simple, "Hello, please be seated." Overall no more being bored and fear stricken at the dentist. TL;DR The best dental experience to date. Powered by the best dental team I have ever had. So amazing I wrote my first online review... ever! - Go and start loving the dentist. Okay, I am not one to leave reviews, actually this would be my first... ever. I am not a guy who generally dislikes the dentist and I have pretty good teeth (if i say so myself)... so that's never been my issue. I am also kinda your typical tech-nerd type and love to understand the science and how things are working... this is the only motivation for me to floss or give a F about taking care of my teeth. After moving to Seattle almost a decade ago there hasn't been a dentist that has triggered the "that was great, I can't wait to come back, holy crap I know more than I did walking in" moment as much as Dr. Elizabeth Finnessy and her amazing team. The staff took care of getting my insurance sorted out ahead of time over email, so I didn't have to fill out a ton of forms, understand what was covered, etc.... The reception area feels more like a living room from West Elm, draped with cool art, and less of a sterile doctors office. However it was lacking a few Highlights magazines for us nostalgic types. The dental team was immensely collaborative and caring. I think I saw almost every person in the office for my first visit. My scaling, cleaning and scans were led by the best dental artist I have ever had. Not only friendly, but that kind of person who helps you understand how to take care of your teeth in normal people speak.. And you leave wanting to ask.. "Hey, you want hang out, shoot a round of golf".. Please be my new awesome friend. Then when it came to get the oral-lowdown from The Doc, not only was she super personable, fun and energetic, but she took the time to walk me through my x-rays and pictures on a screen over my chair.. She took the time on an iPad to show me what was going on in my mouth, what it means and what the future would look like for me; simply amazing, informative, approachable, modern and I feel more in control of my body, personal health than ever before.. and that ... all a dental visit... My least favorite place to visit is the dentist office!!! For so many different and obvious reasons.. I don't like having my mouth numbed, I don't like handling pain, I don't like dental objects in my mouth, I don't like taking time off from work and I don't like the recovery process.. I had some major dental work done yesterday and I have to say that it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be.. I had some minor pain but nothing like I thought it would be.. I still have more work to do in the coming weeks but i'm actually looking forward to getting it done.. Libbi and her team took excellent care of me!!! They are very honest, they answer your questions and they talk you through the process as they are doing the work to help ease your mind.. They also make you feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure and do excellent follow up.. I told Libbi that I hate the dentist and she said "No, you hate going to the dentist but we are going to change that." She was right... She changed that!!! Dr Libbi has been my primary care dentist for around 5 years or so. She has always been very professional. When I had a cleaning 3 months ago, she was away and had another dentist filling in for her. That dentist recommended a big procedure on my next visit. When I arrived for the new visit, I had an amazing experience. Dr Libbi sat me down and apologized for being gone previously. She said she reviewed the recommendation of the other dentist and said that based on her knowledge of my case it was unnecessary. That will save me over $900 and some pain. I am very impressed that Dr Libbi took the time and trouble to think critically about what is best for me. Moving to a new city and seeking out new providers is the worst. Bellevue Dental Health came highly recommended by a friend so I figured I'd give them a visit. Dr. Finnessy was highly recommend by a close friend of mine, my initial visit was for teeth whitening but now I see her for all of my dental work. I remember getting my wisdom teeth removed I was extremely nervous and all the horrible stories I had heard didn't help, but now that I've experienced it myself I can tell you that Dr. Finnessy made me feel much more comfortable and less nervous, she went over my options for numbing to minimize the pain, during the procedure Dr. and staff were caring, sympathetic, and supportive, I felt save and in good hands, it made my experience nothing like the ones I had heard. Dr. Libby is the most compassionate person, for the first time in my life I am excited about going back to the dentist! The staff was also super friendly and kind, they stayed late just to get as much work done for in one visit. With my work, it is hard to get away. I am so grateful for everything that they did for me! I swore that after we first met Dr. Finnessy that she got a couple of lifer's for patients....well two years later, she continues to amaze! Last week I got a call from my husband that my 12 year old daughter passed out and knocked out her 2 front teeth and they were on the way to the ER. So I text Dr. Libbi, and she wants photos when I get there and she's willing to meet us at the office at 10 pm to fix her teeth! Who does that? !? This was my first experience with Bellevue Dental Health. I requested information on their website and they got back to me right away to set an appointment via phone. They communicated via text which was awesome. Great vibes as soon as you walk in. Staff was great. Keith is the man, best experience sitting in the chair while getting a cleaning. All my questions were answered and the hygienist was patient and provided great feedback on my dental health. The staff here are very thorough and patient. Libbi is wonderful! Her staff is very attentive and warm. They gave me my first filling (0 pain throughout the whole process), a cleaning (hadn't had a cleaning in 5ish years - they were very patient and got my teeth squeaky clean), and whitening (my teeth became sensitive to the whitening after level 2, so they let me stop and gave me some fluoride to ease the discomfort!). Still coming here for my dental needs but there's a full body health thing they got going on now and I started inquiring about their new machines. I had patella tendon repair surgery a year ago and the swelling is still present in addition to a Velcro sound/ feel when going down stairs, so I was definitely interested if they had modalities that could help. I did 4 treatments of the BTL emsculpt neo and my swelling is noticeably less, same with discomfort going downstairs. Will likely try a few more visits read more
