I was referred to the James Casey location by my Physical Therapist's office where I experienced a very unprofessional and uncaring staff. I waited for over one hour to begin my scheduled MRI with no explanation for the delay. The technician was extremely rude throughout the procedure and acted very irritated because she had to set up my MRI in a trailer parked outside of their office. Really? I would not recommend the James Casey location for Longhorn Imaging to anyone. Note: To be fair, I was first referred to Longhorn Imaging on Bee Caves Road for a back and hip MRI - they have the larger machine. I was preparing for the procedure within 5 minutes of my arrival with a private changing room where I could lock up my possessions. The staff was very professional and the technician was very friendly and helpful during the lengthy process. I would recommend the Bee Caves Road location. read more

Longhorns Imaging was great. I had 3 MRIs performed in one visit and the tech made everything easy and stress less as possible. He was a friendly engaging professional who was knowledge and reassuring throughout the process. What could have been daunting and unnerving turned out to be more pleasurable than expected. Results were quickly reported to my physician and I was able to request and receive copies of my results with no problem. Staff very accommodating. I would reccomend them to others. read more

Today , I tried to book an appointment with Longhorn Imaging for an MRI... I was told by my doctor that I would easily be able to call get an accurate estimate of the cost of the MRI... So I called, and was left on hold for 20 minutes, and they had forgotten I was on hold. Finally, someone answered... he was completely and utterly incompetent, unhelpful, and unwilling to simply do his job. I had to beg them to give me a rough estimate, and was told they would be " calling me back about all that insurance stuff." It was ridiculous how unhelpful and unprofessional his behavior was ... I called my DR. and asked them to send me somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this place at all . read more

This review is for my multiple experiences at the James Casey location. I've placed numerous requests with Longhorn Imaging and they have repeatedly exceeded my expectations. Antoinette is amazing. She must have been hired after 2014 because I would have remembered her! Her customer service skills are off the charts great! I would hire someone like her for my company in a nano second. She is personable, responsive, professional and she can anticipate customer needs before they even ask. She is also lightning prompt. She gives great customer care even when she is super busy. I don't know how she does it. And compared to other imaging facilities I've been to, this one is aesthetically attractive, orderly and clean. I went in pretty nervous about my MRI.. their office is so nice and felt like a living room. The tech put music of my choice for me to listen too and gave me a ball to squeeze if I couldn't handle the machine and needed to get out which made me feel overwhelmed because this was my first MRI. They haven't giving me any calls about my results. It is a very nice place. read more

Just as I was able to leave a negative review about longhorn imaging, I had to comeback and rescind my initial review. Like I initially stated my actual MRI experience was amazing I wasn't until afterwards that the confusion began. However, I was able to efficiently get this situation rectified and the employees were very apologetic which is all I ask for as a customer. Can't say I will be back because I hope I never have to get an MRI again but will recommend. Just talk to one person!!! read more

Unfortunately I've had to get a few MRI's and each have been at different places. Longhorn was great as they called me when they had a cancellation so I was able to get in earlier and get it done with. The people are all very nice and There were no issues at all. There was no upfront costs as they settle with the insurance company first which suited me just fine. read more

By far the best experience I've had getting an MRI. Antoinette was very helpful and friendly getting me scheduled. I was able to get an MRI within a day of my doctor sending the referral. They sent me an email confirmation as well as a text message confirmation. Super convenient! I've had about 6 MRI's in the past 10 years and Longhorn Imaging was by far the fastest and easiest in Austin. My MRI's on my back used to take about and hour and a half. The technician said it would take about 20 minutes and he wasn't lying. It was over in no time! It can be difficult to lay still in an MRI machine but their advanced machine made the process so quick and painless. They also provided me a CD of my MRI right away! Thank You!! read more

I recently scheduled and had an appointment at Longhorn Imaging for a MRI on my lower back. This first thing that stuck out to me beside the clean and beautiful environment was the very pretty and smiling receptionist Antoinette. Not just a pretty face, this intelligent and driven young lady was well versed with the system and made sure, after a very pleasant and immediate greeting, that my paperwork was processed while explaining how everything would happen step-by-step. The technician Matthew was equally as helpful and informative about the process I would be undergoing and making me feel comfortable on the table in every way possible. The owner David was even there to ease the mood and tell a joke while making sure I was feeling comfortable and safe the entire time. In a culture where everyone seems to be treated like cattle, this was an amazing experience while having, for me, a very nervous MRI scan. I have had many scans and MRI's in my life, and I feel confident saying that Longhorn was, by far, the absolute hands down best place I have ever had the privilege of being a patient of. This was the worse imaging center I have ever visited. Myself being in the medical field do not expect to get in right away at the appt time, but when someone tells you to arrive at 4:30 and you do not get called back till 5:30 is outrageous. I took off work early lost one hr of pay and did not leave there office till 6pm. The facility is very small and had only one technician working with one machine, if my attorney was not paying for it, I would rather go to ARA. read more

My Dr. Recommended that I have an MRI at Longhorn Imaging for my knee. After reading some of the reviews I have to say I was a little concerned as a few were not so good. I just finished my scan at the James Casey location and I felt the need to Yelp my experience. The moment I walked in the girl at the front was very welcoming and sincere. I completed my paperwork and was quickly taken back by the very professional MRI Technologist. He explained thoroughly what to expect and answered the questions I had. Alexandria at the front desk made me feel comfortable and she calmed my nerves and answered all my insurance questions.
