Longhorn has always been a restaurant in which I enjoyed however, my experience Thursday night was awful. Starting with seating. The minute we sat down and opened the silverware we observed that the forks were disgusting. Nasty not washed. Food particles etc. we immediately asked for a replacement... Then of course I'm uneasy now but I sat through it. Not wanting to disappoint my kids. I looked over at the light fixture on our table and seen how nasty, sticky and dusty it was... I still sat through it. We ordered our food, drinks and spinach dip appetizer. Spinach dip came out looking great. My family begin to eat and then my daughter mouth dropped and she had something blue stuck in her teeth... yes, blue!! It was some sort of plastic... shared it with the waiter. He said "oh that's plastic from our vegetable container, I can get you another one". No!! Totally unacceptable, what if my child would have swallowed it?? Then comes the entree!! We all ordered various cuts of steak... out of four steaks only one was cooked correctly. We asked for medium well. Our steaks were bleeding!! We could have sent it back but it was late and at this point I'm done... the lobster and asparagus was about the only thing good. Then my family told them it was my birthday ( I'm assuming when I went to the bathroom) he came out with a cheesecake and gave it to my daughter.. then he gave a melted sundae and said this is for your birthday... no happy birthday or nothing!! Oh , I forgot to mention my drink. I ordered this spiked strawberry lemonade. It was supposed to have an infused strawberry... It wasn't on my drink so I asked about it.... The waiter said "well there was none at the bar, I can go find one in the back".... Excuse me??? Yes!!! This was my experience. I'm done!!! Never again!! We have always ordered To Go here because the wait is always crazy long. Plus, it's not far from our house so it's just easier to pick up our food and take it home. But our meals are always good. Recently in the Carroll county department of public health ratings, they got a 74. In spite of that, we went there to eat. Believe me it's not the place it was even 6 months ago. Appetizers called one didn't even come out until the entrees came out and it was burnt. The waiter took it off the check. The fillet had grizzle. Our loaded baked potato was cold and small compared to what it used to be. Service was good. I would take this off your list for a while until they get a new manager or they're going to go downhill.. Stopped by for a quick lunch before heading to work at the carrolton fair. I was pleased with the service and the food came out fairly quickly. The salad even though a side was quite big and the Wild West shrimp was soo good and it's def enough to share with 2 or 3. Had a nice lunch at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Carrollton. I have not been there for dinner before because it is always crowded. I refuse to wait in line. The lunch was really good. My wife had a fried Chicken Sandwich. I am always a sucker for Onion soup. I had the Onion Soup and Cesar Salad. Everything was really tasty. Servings were plentiful. Service was efficient and friendly. They have a big Bar area. The price was amazing. Total $19 plus tip! The place is very clean and comfortable including the restroom. Went to Longhorn in Carrollton because my wife got a gift card from work. Thankfully it was paid for with a gift card. The food was absolutely horrible. The Wild West shrimp was greasy as hell, my steak was, for some unexplainable reason, sitting in about a quarter inch of liquid. I have absolutely had better steaks at Waffle House. The Caesar salad was inedible as was the asparagus. I definitely recommend going to Wendy's or McDonalds next door if you are hungry. read more

Excellent lunch service from Gage. I really appreciate people who love their job and it shows. New lunch combo menu has a Kobe beef sandwich served with either soup or side salad. I chose the side salad, and everything was served fresh and exactly as ordered. Kobe beef was sliced thin, was tender and flavorful. I recently visited this LongHorm Steakhouse last week in a party of 12. We showed up at peak hour and had to wait for 48 minutes four our table. Originally, I was okay with this as I understand with a party so large, it isn't easy to seat. However, I made a bet with my girlfriend; she thought it would take 45 minutes to get us seated, and I thought it would take longer. What I didn't expect was for the table to be ready within her 5 minute grace period and I lost the bet!!! For real though, the staff told us we had to wait to get seated for the prior party to leave. That prior party consisted of many elderly folk who had to take their time and this unfortunately caused our long wait. I'm not sure if there's a genuine solution for this problem, but it would be nice to find a way to circumvent this moving forward. Our party had one lone waiter and he was absolutely phenomenal! He was zippin left and right, wooshin extra Sprites my way constantly, bringin us loafs of bread, and all around was a stellar waiter. If I could remember his name, I would shout him out. He had glasses, short black hair, and was a relatively tall bloke so hopefully the staff can go give him a pat on the back for me. My meal was pretty good - I tried the Prime Rib sandwich, it was like a philly cheese steak on steroids, but with waaay too many mushrooms.
