Our first time trying this restaurant out and it was good. We went for lunch shortly after they opened & there were already quite a few customers inside. I'm not big on eating seafood away from a shoreline, but the boils were good. We ordered the combined snow crab and headless shrimp with corn and potatoes. I tried the Cajun and butter sauces mixed with a medium spice. I thoroughly enjoyed the "crab in a bag"! The spices at the bottom of the bag were great to dip all the seafood in. The one thing I'll NEVER get here again is the steamed oysters.. they were extremely salty and just not good. This place is kind of in the vein of the Juicy Crab or Wild Crab. I got a pound of headless shrimp in boom sauce (medium) which is the combo of the Cajun, garlic butter, and lemon pepper sauces. Good shrimp. They came with boiled red potatoes and a half ear of corn. I took half the shrimp home as it was so much food. I was with a party of four and they ordered off the standard fried menu...catfish or chicken fingers. Their portions were huge! Service was good but it was like 2:30 pm on Mother's Day. They were busy but not slammed. I see on here where others have complained of slow or poor service but I can say our server was on top of things and the food came pretty fast. This was our first visit and we weren't disappointed. I know a few folks have said pricey, but in this case I believe you get what you pay for. I had shrimp boil with add sausage. My sister had lobster boil. Her husband had something with king crab and shrimp. My husband had lobster and crab. It was a lot of food, and again well worth it. The garlic butter sauce is AMAZING! I couldn't finish mine; I was stuffed. None of us had a complaint. The server was also great and they provide Military discount (thank you!). They do only have three desserts; my husband had key lime pie (not sure where he put it), I took a bite and it was very good. We will definitely be back. read more

Visited today for the first time. The menu offered lots of excellent choices, but be warned...it's pricey...but the quality was good and worth the price. The wait staff was kind and helpful. My husband took me to the #craftycrab for my birthday Nov 18 2020. I didn't know what to expect. The hostess was very friendly. She led us into the dining room and all the tables were covered with a long sheet of heavy paper. Our waiterss was very helpful in explaining the specials. I don't eat spicy so I ordered our shrimp, crab and lobster boil mild. She starts to bring out our eating supplies which included gloves, bib, *you will have to wear) and silverware. I won't tell you how they bring it to your table but OMG the food was delicious!! I called to give them a chance to make it right and the "kitchen manager" said that's not possible because they make eggs every day. First and only visit ever! My sister and I went in about 3:30. The waitress had shorts on that showed half her butt checks. We ordered Calamari for an appetizer. The rings of calamari were so big around and sliced thin. The problem was that you could not chew it. I picked up one piece and I could not even bite it! It was like a piece of rubber! When we told the waitress, she said it was their policy not to give refunds. Refunds? We hadn't paid yet! The manager came over and brought us a menu showing us the tiny print at the bottom. It didn't sound like what they were saying or answer our complaint. The owner Then came over and asked what the problem was. The waitress and manager started telling him. I said, excuse me, the problem is I can't even bite this Calamari and I showed him. He told them to take it off our bill. Then they brought our food out. It tasted like it was cooked earlier and heated up. It didn't have constant heat throughout. The seasoning was horrible. Thank goodness we shared one $50+ meal instead of getting two. I didn't expect this place to be nearly as good as it is. Having lived in Alaska I'm used to really good seafood and boy was j shocked . All the seafood tasted super fresh and the way it was prepared was so delicious . I was afraid my husband was going to choke because he was eating so fast. The service was wonderful also .
