LongHorn Salmon (7oz) + Roasted Mushrooms Sides: Broccoli and Crispy Brussel Sprouts
    Mahauganee S.

Popped in here for dinner with the extended family while in town. we were a party of eight, and rather easily got seated on a Tuesday evening. I normally really enjoy Longhorn, but the food was unfortunately just OK. I ordered my usual, which is the salmon. Because I was feeling like treating myself, I added the roasted mushrooms that is available as a topper for steaks, and I added a side of the crispy brussels sprouts. Unfortunately, my salmon was completely overcooked. Both the top and bottom were brown, inverse the inside was dry. I normally like my salmon cooked medium, and Longhorn is one of two restaurants where I've never needed to make that distinction in order for it to come out that way. However, tonight was different. The mushrooms were extremely salty, which was surprising to me as I tend to like saltiness... but this was salt overdone. The one thing that I thought was tasty, was the one bite that I had of someone else's steakhouse wings. That said, I could imagine that if I was eating a full order of them, they may have been over seasoned. As usual, the restaurant is well canceled, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It's just the food that was lacking. Honestly, I'd give my experience today 2 stars, but I'm adding an extra star based on past experience.

the fillet was very small and the corn was overcooked and very small. I will not go back again.

Dinner with friends, I had a salad as a starter. House salad very good. Then an 8 oz sirloin and a side of broccoli. Very good. The rest of the group says four stars also.

Went for my brothers birthday with a party of 18. Stacy took great care of us! Never had to ask for any refills on our drinks and she kept bread and butter on the table. The food was good as always! The food also came out quickly considering our party size.

If I could give 10 stars I would !!! We went on Easter .Expected a big crowd .We joined the waitlist online .Not even 5 minutes after arriving we were seated .Our server was very nice ,professional and knowledgeable.I wish I were better with names ! And we also had another lady bring out our food .Genuinely good souls !! very easy to talk to .Very sociable and likable staff. For our appetizer we chose spinach parm dip .Warm creamy and garlicky perfection ! I'm so glad you get pita chips instead of tortilla chips .Our food arrived shortly after .VERY pleased with my Brussel sprouts .Like I want to eat them every day kinda pleased .nice char, crispy ,Smokey sweet ,savory ..Heaven in the mouth .We got parm crusted chicken ,parm crusted steak .my personal favorite is the chicken .Steak was cooked well .But I'm going to just go ahead and say it .Im a Texas road house girl for my steak and salad and rolls .But that parm chicken ,Brussel sprouts .Wow .Let's not forget dessert .Lorddddd.The infamous chocolate stampede .Perfect ending to a delicious dinner .Two big pieces of layered cake .,chocolate cake. Not just chocolate cake but MOIST chocolate cake .What seemed to be a chocolate cheese cake filling ,Chocolate mousse filling with chocolate shavings .whipped cream and two BIG scoops of vanilla bean ice cream .three of us couldn't finish.Thats a four person dessert .Or two people if you want a full size dessert ..Just over ten dollars is INSANE for that dessert .This location is officially my favorite. Not sure why it has so little stars ??? Because 10/10 baby .These workers were and quality control for the food .Wow .Food was on point ..Never judge a restaurant from stars alone .Because this one exceeded our expectations.

It's been over a decade since I've been to a longhorn. We were visiting some friends in the area and they wanted to dine here for lunch. I have to say I was impressed with the restaurant inside. It was open and clean. Although they were busy for lunch, our server was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the Salmon (with a bourbon glaze) and instead of the rice, I subbed it for mashed potatoes. I paired it with a Pinot Noir. My Mr. ordered the lunch special 7 pepper steak salad with a side of the Shrimp & Lobster chowder. Since they were busy, it took a little longer to get the food. But it was worth the wait! The salmon was very flaky and loved the mashed potatoes. My Mr really enjoyed his meal. Even my friends were satisfied, but they usually come here often since they live nearby. Overall, it was a great experience. I like that you can pay at the table scanning the code on the receipt and can leave gratuity with it. I can see myself coming back again.

Longhorn is definitely the place to gather. The service is phenomenal, and the food is no different. We recently visited for my mom's birthday and had the sweetest server. She was personable and went above and beyond the call of duty for us. To put it simply, we truly enjoyed ourselves and appreciated everyone who made our evening one to remember!

It's been a very long time since I've been to a Longhorn, and honestly, I don't tend to seek them out. But my lady and I had some friends in the area who wanted to meet us for lunch so we went to this one. Overall, I have to admit it was pretty good. The food was better than I'd expected, the service was nice, and the atmosphere was exactly how you'd expect. Texas-y. The four of us went on a Saturday around 1pm and they were a bit busy. Even then, we were sat right away, and our server was at our table immediately. I remember their menu being larger before, but I can understand why places scale back their menus, which can be a good thing most times. My lady ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and a glass of pinot noir. I went with the 7 pepper steak salad and a side of shrimp and lobster chowder. Since it was busy, we did wait a little longer than usual, but not super long. When all our food came out, everything looked really good. My lady really enjoyed her salmon and said it paired well with her wine. I liked the steak salad but thought it was a little TOO peppery towards the end, to where I hardly tasted the steak. The chowder was rather tasty though. For a chain restaurant, Longhorn overall is alright. I still wouldn't seek it out, but if some friends were up for going and invited me too, I'd likely join them.

Every visit feels like a treat, but lately they've taken things up a notch with a lineup of signature cocktails. I tried the espresso martini, and it was outstanding--smooth, balanced, and the perfect complement to the bold, smoky flavors coming out of the kitchen. As for the food, it's consistently excellent. The dry rub wings are my go-to: perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat and flavor, and even better when paired with their bama white sauce. If you're leaning sandwich, you can't go wrong with a pulled pork or pulled chicken sammy topped with their Carolina gold sauce--it's tangy, slightly sweet, and completely addictive. And the fries? Thick-cut, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside--exactly what great fries should be. Beyond the food and drinks, Lucius Q really shines as a place to gather. They have a fantastic event space that comfortably holds around 50 people--perfect for parties or private events. It's also one of the rare downtown spots with plenty of TVs, making it a great place to catch a game. Add in live music most Fridays and a great outdoor patio for those perfect Cincinnati weather days, and it's easy to see why this place is always buzzing. Lucius Q is one of those spots I simply can't walk past without slowing down and breathing it in. Whether you're a Pendleton regular or just passing through downtown Cincinnati, it's a must-visit that delivers every single time.

I've eaten my way through every smokehouse in Cincinnati, so when I say Midwest Best BBQ is the real deal, believe me. My arteries are practically Yelp-certified. The team of servers and cooks seems like they recruited an entire football team of young men from the University of Cincinnati; service so fast you'd think they were running a two-minute drill, attentive enough to make your mom jealous, and coordinated like they're protecting the quarterback only this time, the quarterback is your pulled-pork sandwich. Their wings, rubs, and sauces? Every single flavor profile was so good I nearly proposed to the coleslaw. And don't get me started on the G-Funk wings. They're delightful, though naming wings after a rap genre means you half expect Dr. Dre to hand you wet wipes. And let's talk about the smoking schedule. They've got a night smoker and a day smoker, which sounds less like a BBQ setup and more like a buddy-cop movie: "Day Smoker plays by the rules, Night Smoker breaks 'em, but together they deliver justice... in the form of brisket." Mark, one of the owners, literally smokes meat during a half-day shift with the love and passion of a Michelin-star chef who moonlights as Cupid. This guy makes ribs like he's serenading them. If Hallmark made a "Brisket Romance" channel, Mark would star in every single movie. I bought several pounds of meat to take home. Not "a pound." Several. Because nothing says "self-control" like hiding a bag of smoked chicken behind your kale in the fridge. Exclamation point. Period. Now, location... ...here's the kicker. They're hidden off the road over a hundred yards. That's right, it's the Area 51 of BBQ. You basically need Google Maps, a Sherpa, and divine intervention to find them. Yet, somehow, when you do, it feels like stumbling upon the Ark of the Covenant... ...only tastier, and fewer Nazis melting. Inside? Casual. TVs locked on Bengals or Reds games, so you can watch disappointment while you eat happiness. Patio? Shaded. Perfect for when you want to sweat from the hot sauce, not the sun. The sides? Top echelon. Beans, slaw, cornbread, each one a little sidekick to the main meat superhero. And for the low-carb crowd, this place is a protein paradise. Keto bros rejoice: you can bench-press your brisket guilt-free. Bottom line: Midwest Best BBQ doesn't just feed you, it baptizes you in smoke, sauce, and joy. And if you're not leaving with meat sweats, did you even go?
