One came with a fruit salad as you see in the pictures and the other one had sausage gravy and two meats and eggs both came with toast. We did not try their home fries or the potato cakes. It seems like most neighborhoods in Cincy have at least one proper diner, and P&S Family Diner represents for the greater Colerain area. They've been around for a long time and run like a well-oiled machine, and the people who work there realty seem to love it. Anyhoo... the food. It's great! They've got a lot to choose from, but I always end up with breakfast... usually the eggs Benedict or the Kitchen Sink. I don't know if the sausage gravy is homemade or not, but I like to think it is, because it is delicious. If you visit on a weekend, there might be a wait, but it's totally worth it. read more

Walking in was like being welcomed to the family kitchen table. The staff was so nice and attentive but the other patrons were too! We both ordered the open faced meatloaf with home fries and my only complaint was I wish I could have had more of that delicious brown mushroom gravy (I'm sure if I asked for some they would have given it to me but I was too busy eating ) Love that they serve breakfast all day because I'm more of a brunch/ breakfast for dinner kind of person. read more

I've been here plenty times and never wrote a review. I've never had anything bad here and it's a small diner. The waitresses have been here for a long time so most remember you. The chili is good, they have a good breakfast, burgers are decent and the sandwiches are good so there are many choices. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and it's a small restaurant so you may or may not wait for a seat. Overall they are my go to place if I don't want to go far or in the mood for a home cooked meal. read more

My favorites are the Country Breakfast with country fried steak with sausage gravy, choice of potatoes, toast and 2 eggs; more food than I can eat. Next, the fish sandwich is good too. The food always comes out hot and quickly. The service is exemplary. One server may take your order but all other servers check in on you too. Ambiance is diner, friendly and comfortable. We decided to come here early on Mother's Day. We had a couple of people waiting in front of us and on Mother's Day there were still covid restrictions. Our wait to get our table was probably about 15 minutes so we didn't wait very long for that. We were seated and the lady next to us was seated shortly after us. Our waitress came over and took our order and brought back our coffee and iced tea. Then we waited, waited, and waited and during that time the lady that was cheated after us was served her breakfast. Finally the waitress came by and said that a large to-go order went in in front of ours. Right now I am going to chalk up this lengthy wait to covid restrictions and them offering delivery combined with the holiday. The hubby ordered the lil' bit of everything which was two eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuit and gravy, and toast. I ordered the vegetarian omelette which was a combination of cheddar, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms. We both liked the food and the waitress was very nice. Hopefully the next time that we stopped in here we won't have such a long wait to get our meal. Yes we will definitely be back to try it again. read more

This is the epitome of a "family diner." The food is delicious, the space is cozy, and the servers treat you like they've known you for years. We were invited in for a Saturday brunch with some of our friends who are regulars here (they stop in a couple times a week). This little mom-and-pop was packed when we arrived - and we're told that's almost always the case, because the food is so incredible. Even though it was almost noon, we opted to enjoy some of their famous breakfast. I ordered the "Kitchen Sink" with extra veggies on top. This is the perfect hangover cure - biscuits, potatoes, eggs, and cheese, drowning in a delicious homestyle gravy. My fiancé ordered their eggs benedict special, and absolutely devoured every bite. We also split a side of their goetta, which was thin, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The prices were also spot on - just what you'd expect from a hometown diner. Even though this P&S is a good deal out of the way for us - I know we'll be back again soon to sample more of this classic comfort food. read more

How can it have been three years since my last review? Today I introduced a friend to P & S's wonderful food. Her only complaint about her Traditional Breakfast was that it wasn't greasy enough. I mention that because most people see it as a positive. I had a nice cod sandwich with their amazing cole slaw and broccoli cheese soup, one of three soups of the day. Great little dinner! I had the Sweet & Savory- 2 eggs 3 slices of bacon and I asked to substitute the toast for a biscuit- the biscuit was wonderful! The sweet part was the cinnamon roll cake - Do Not leave there without trying it. They are known for it and for good reason- perfection!! My husband had the Sink omelet- ham onions peppers cheese and sausage gravy with fried potatoes and toast- very good- we d had never heard of goetta, so had to try it- again delicious! It is sausage with oats and spices and crunchy- will definitely have that again too. The atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable with very friendly staff. Had never heard of this delightful little place until a FB group spoke glowingly of it. So we tried it today in late morning. They told us when coming in that the kitchen was a little slow, but we didn't really find that to be the case--we have waited much longer in other places--server shortages are common with the aftermath of Covid. I got the Southern Special--bean soup, corn bread and a big serving of home fries. Also got a BLT with a fried egg. Then I had pineapple upside down cake for dessert. Everything tasted great and was cooked properly. Wife had a sandwich and cherry cobbler with ice cream. Those are two desserts you don't often find in a small place. Service was well-coordinated, very friendly and attentive. There wasn't anything to dislike. First visit to this place for breakfast. Definitely a loyal following of regulars which tells me they are doing something right. Service was excellent. Coffee was kept topped off and hot. There was no rush to get us to order, but once we did order the food came out quickly and everything was very good. We didn't venture off the standard breakfast fare for us, which consisted of eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. I'm sure we will go back and try omelets or sausage and gravy. We found this wonderful diner a few years ago. You know the food is fabulous when you must wait for a table. Not to fear, the wait is not long as everone hustles to get the food outthe servers hustle. From the servers, to the chef., to the atmosphere, nothing is wanting. We have never had a bad meal here.
