    VICTORIA'S FILET- MIGNON* Baked Potato
    Devon P.

We walked in during a Friday night rush, surprisingly we did not have to wait for a table (the place was packed). Our server came by shortly & we ordered drinks while we went over the menu. It took a bit to get the drinks but it was obviously busy so it was no bother. After we got our drinks we ordered the mozzarella boomerangs, those came out about 5-10 mins later, normal time I'd say and... it was delicious. After we ordered another drink & our entrees. We both got the 8oz victoria's filet (added garlic butter) and a baked potato. We did not wait for the entrees long & they were perfectly cooked. Overall, the food and drinks were great, the service was fantastic, it was busy but not loud; 5/5 it was a fantastic last minute date night.

Everytime we've ordered from the Eastgate store, the food is always great. I would definitely recommend this place.

Somehow they could tell I was new to Alveo, and they explained the process. Cashier was very sweet. Owner/Head chef took the time to chat with me, it obvious he cares as much about the ingredients as he does the customers' experience. Top notch dude. The sandwich? Criminally delicious. All the ingredients of the Tacchina were different temps, textures, flavors, so when they came together between the bread, it was an unparalleled experience. If they sold the GF focaccia by the loaf, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I respect the ingredients of the chips, just didn't love the flavor and texture (olive oil) and the bag is big enough to share with a friend. Tried the orange Italian soda, wasn't a fav, but maybe another flavor would be better. Would like to see more umbrellas for the patio, but I was lucky to snag a spot in the shade, at that point in the day. Alveo is the best sandwich I've had in 7 years of living here! Almost glad I don't live closer, as I'd be here constantly! Worth the drive! I will dream of the Tacchina!

I went with the 'The Noble' which is the basic fried chicken sandwich with pickles / lettuce / tomato. I asked for the Noble sauce on the side. Went with french fries. Was told the deep fried chicken is cooked to order so expect a 8 to 10 minute wait... which I was more that happy to do for I want my sandwich piping hot right out of the fryer. While waiting, I had time to read the menu board more in-depth. I asked the staff what ghost sticks are as well as hatch queso mac & cheese. I think these things should have basic descriptions printed on the menu so you know exactly what it is w/o having to ask. Also, it seems somebody owner-wise decided to have some odd / high flair sides. Personally- I would make a mac n cheese both ways ... one foofoo style and one basic. Some people do not care for your creative juices flowing to create some unique special thing. Anyways... Ten minutes went by & my order was ready. It came in a very high end bag with handles & the restaurant's name printed on it. In that bag was another small paper bag that held high end plastic ware / Heines catsup / good quality napkins & the side cup of Noble sauce. I remembered that I like a buffalo style sandwich so I asked for a side of that & the counter lady gladly got it for me. Below this bag was high quality container that held my chicken sandwich & fries. I point all this out because I knew that there was a lot of thought & money put into these things. Sure- a restaurant can go cheap by simply wrapping the sandwich up in wax paper and calling it a day but this place did not do that. Once that I made it out to my car, I found the container that held my sandwich & fries. Listen... everything was perfect! The bun was of high quality brioche style / nice thick pickle slices / fresh hot out of the fryer french fries but the best was the nice sized golden brown deep fried chicken breast sitting on the bun. I decided to pour both the Noble & buffalo sauces onto my sandwich. Great choice. Let me just say this... it turned out to be one of my top 3 fried chicken sandwiches ever.. and I have eaten quite a few! As long as this place sticks to the plan of making each sandwich fresh... they'll be fine. I will go back for sure so don't let me down!!!

When I am in any new place, I like to visit businesses that are either local, or do not exist where I live. As I was looking online for some coffee options, I came across Biggby. Having never heard of it, I decided to give it a try. I am the only person in my family whom I was traveling with that drinks coffee, so I made this trip to Biggby solo. From my research, it appears that this is a coffee chain that originated in East Lansing, Michigan. It has since amassed over 400 locations across the US, with most being in the northern Midwest. There is one store in Idaho, and some more scattered along the southern Atlantic coast. Most locations seem to be franchises, as I assume this one is as well. Biggby Coffee is located in the Eastgate area of Cincinnati. Specifically, it sits on the corner of Eastgate N Drive, Wyler Park Drive, and Glen Este-Withamsville Road, just off of James A. Rhodes Appalachian Highway. It is near the Clermont County Public Library - Union Township Branch, Meijer, and several other restaurants. To me, it looked to be a newly-constructed building, so I am not sure if anything was ever here previously! I thought it was relatively easy to navigate to Biggby. The building sort of sits by itself, and though there is no road sign to see from far away, the orange roof and branded signage on the tallest part of the building help to point you in the right direction. This is primarily a drive-thru establishment, but there are parking spots around the perimeter of the property. The footprint is small, but is it relatively easy to figure out which way to go in order to get in line. Along with the drive-thru setup, there is a walk-up window to order at. Not too much seating here, which is expected given the nature of the business, but there is a bench near the walk-up window to utilize. I arrived here just after 11:00 AM on a Sunday morning in September. It was not too crowded, but there were a few other customers both in the drive-thru and at the walk-up window. I chose to go through the drive-thru, so I took a minute to look over the menu before ordering. The staff was fine with that, and since it was not super busy, I was not in a rush to keep the line moving. They serve a variety of coffees, lattes, teas, freezes, energy drinks, cold brews, food, and more. There were probably over 20 different flavor options to add into drinks, several of which were sugar free. It appears that they have seasonal flavors and specials, as the feature items on the menu were pumpkin and maple at the time of my visit. Since I had already had breakfast, I opted to just get a coffee to drink. The staff were all very nice in providing some additional information and giving their recommendations on what to get. I ended up ordering a 24-Ounce Iced Coffee with Pumpkin and White Chocolate, half sweet. They called this White Pumpkin, and it was a seasonal feature. I really did enjoy my drink! It was the perfect sweetness for my personal taste, and I got to sip on it for a few hours. Service here was very prompt and efficient. I spent less than 3 minutes in the drive-thru from when I placed my order to when I was pulling away. I had a very positive experience in regards to the overall service I received. I think the value here is pretty good, but also pretty standard when comparing to other coffee shops. They have several different Bigg Deals, where you get a drink and food item for either $5, $7, or $9, depending on your choices. My coffee ended up being around $5, which again is pretty normal for a drink like that at a shop like this. I thought the pricing of the menu as a whole was pretty fair. I am glad that I stopped at this Biggby location to give it a try! Like I said, I have never heard of this brand before, but really enjoyed my visit to this location and my first experience trying the coffee here. I would definitely stop again at a different location, or at this one when I am back in the area. On my next trip, I hope to try some of the food items or maybe even a fancier latte-type drink. I think this is a good edition to the Eastgate area, and provides some variety for your coffee choice. I would recommend giving a Biggby a try if you are thinking about doing so!
