It was 4:15 pm in a thursday. Waited along time to get table and then cocktail came after the salad. Overcooked and over seasoned steak. Waited 20 minutes for a redo! This is one of my husband's favorite places to eat. We consider if kind of a fancy place and we tend to come here for dates and things. There's always a lot of food- every meal is huge- and we are always satisfied whenever we eat here. I've summarized my thoughts on different meals below. The Crab and Artichoke Dip is good but I didn't feel it was very flavorful. My mom loved it. I did really like the Firecracker Chicken Wraps even though about a third of them are the wrapping. I paid an upcharge to get the Chicken and Strawberry Salad with the Raspberry dressing instead of a house salad which was fantastic. Also, huge. I took half of it home. I got the Napa Grilled Chicken for my meal which was soft, juicy, and flavorful. Hubby got the steak prime rib which definitely melted in my mouth but otherwise did nothing for me. The Coconut Chili Mahi Mahi was awesome and flaky and the rice mixture that came with was so tasty. I was delightfully surprised. The balsamic vinaigrette is not overpowering as it often is at other places. It even tasted good with the bread. Flo's Fillet medium well done is thin but packed with seasonings and flavor. The medium is thick and tender but had less seasonings The Chocolate Stampede was huge. I'd actually want to order it as an appetizer because it's not easy to take home but it's huge so you'll want to make sure you have room for it. The Longhorn Steak had good seasoning at first but after a few bites was just ok. This Longhorn was better than the one in Bartlett. The wait was a little long, but the waitress I had was very nice, she knew her menu and was re-filling water and bread. The food was superb, the drink I had got me buzzed and the steak was how I wanted it to be. I would come back. read more

I treated my mom and dad to dinner at Longhorn to celebrate my mom's birthday. My mother and I love the Outlaw Ribeye, but this time we went with the regular ribeye and my dad ordered salmon. We also picked a salad and one more side. All salads were good and had plenty of salad dressing for each bite. I ordered a sweet potato for my other side, it was a pretty big sweet potato and unfortunately some areas were undercooked causing for a crunchy potato (took it home..no biggie). The loaded baked potato looked good and well prepared (no remnants remaining other than the skin) so I would say mom enjoyed it and my dad enjoyed his side of broccoli. Our waitress was decent, she seemed a bit tired, but she was not rude. She took our orders and was polite throughout dinner. Our orders came out with no issues and correct. The restaurant does not take reservations, they have a waitlist that you add your name to. I was not able to add my name via the app, but you can walk in to add your name and maybe even call. On a weeknight it can get busy, so there may be a long wait. We went on a Saturday around 5pm and waited about 20mins, they moved the parties quick, so that helped, along with an earlier dinner time. We sat in the bar area in a booth, my dad was able to watch the Grizzles play and we just really had a good meal and an overall enjoyable experience on this particular evening. Went for lunch around 1:00 on a weekend. It wasn't crowded. Food was average bar food. The service was incredibly slow. We had to flag our server down for refills....for anything we needed. Burger was dry. Fries were ok. The shrimp appetizer was swimming in grease. Just a very mid experience. read more

We went to the Collierville location Friday 2/14/26 early afternoon. We waited 40 minutes for a table. Thats fine it was on Valentines Day. But so many empty tables.. I guess not enough servers. Schedule accordingly folks!!! Anyhow got a table and ordered. Husband ordered Porterhouse and Baked potato. First off the potato was COLD!! The butter didn't even melt. Waitress brought another that was HOT! Second his porterhouse was a t-bone. There was very little filet on one side. Waitress sent manager over. He was rude and he said that is a Porterhouse, our t-bone is thinner than that. Really??? It's about the filet size. On a porterhouse steak the filet is huge. This filet size was no bigger than the tines on his fork. My husband told manager needs to learn his cuts of meat. Manager pointed his finger at my husband and said I should have you kicked out of here!!!! Really???? This is one of my favorite steak houses. The portion sizes here are huge. It does depend on what you get. My favorite is the Flo's Filet which is the same size as any filet. Free bread is decent. I thought I liked the loaded baked potato but it's really just ok. I do love the french fries and the mashed potatoes. There's lots of potato options, which is great. They also have other food sides for when I want to have something besides potatoes. I tried the Longhorn burger recently and I was hoping it'd be really good but it was just ok. After a terrible experience at the LongHorn Steakhouse in Bartlett, we tried this one in Collierville. It was a totally different experience. The host and waitstaff were friendly. The wait times were not too long. (It was a Sunday about 11:00 a.m.) The pricing is acceptable, and the food quality is excellent. The ambiance was awesome until the "after-church" crowd started piling in and making a ton of noise. That wasn't the restaurant's fault. We will return to this one in the future but only during low-traffic times. read more

Eh...ok but wish they could keep the kitchen runny smooth. Went with a group for lunch and there was no ice tea until 2:00 when the truck came in (Kroger is right in their parking lot). Out of mushrooms and some other options. Burger was ok but bacon made me think it was a toothpick. Chewy brittle if bacon could be that blend. Chowder was good can soup. Others in the group had been before and said they were out of potatoes one time and salmon another. Seems to be hit or miss. This is probably our last visit to this so-so establishment with an over-staffed door and a manager who actually argues with customers... First, we went to their website to "get in line" early. When we arrived at the restaurant, the same surly, glowering, characterless young woman said, "Huh - what'chu'want?" I told her my name and she said, "Uh, huh... you #2 in line, we will call chu when you ready..." After 15 minutes of watching the door, and after seeing 3 parties seated before us, I approached the middle-aged woman who was at the podium... "Are you the Manager?" Answer: "Yeah"... Me: "I went online before arriving; when I arrived, I was told by a young woman, 'you # 2 in line"... and I've sat here and watched 3 other parties seated before me..." - and that's when "Ms. Manager" cut me off... "Well those people were waiting at the bar... the four party wanted a table..." and so on... I reminded Ms. Manager, "don't argue with a customer, especially after you just lied to him..." and she replied, "You'll be seated next"... I said, "I'll be watching and hoping..." We were seated next... our waitress was really nice (and the tip acknowledged that), but I was still put off by the young mumbler at the door and the manager who argued and makes excuses and outright lied... BTW - younger door woman eventually hid herself in a kitchen alcove that I could see and spent about 20 minutes on her cell phone!!! Question: Will you be going back? Its been awhile since eating here. Covid has shaken up the world as we know it but I think the restaurants are suffering the hardest blow, outside of everyday life. I still have standards but the expectations aren't as high. The restaurant was semi-full. Our server was busy but she stopped n checked on us, everytime she walked by..I dont have any complaints about my food, it was ok. But after taking it home n cooking in airfryer a little longer, it tasted better. It was a little undercooked. My margarita was tasty but I missed seeing the lemons in the big jar. Went for the last time to Longhorn in Collierville. This restaurant is seems unclean in the public areas, so the unseen areas are probably even worse. Sat at bar and it was crumby and spilled on from previous patrons. Chairs were scattered at the bar, very unorganized and unwelcoming. Wait staff sullen at best. Salad was limp and drowning in dressing. Main course was okay, would never describe as good or great. Presentation was uninspiring. Very few people were there to be served we waited for over 30 minutes to get a table and about another 45 minutes for our food after ordering. Ordered curbside pickup got a text at saying my food will be ready at 8:08 and verify that i was there which i was. I sat out there until 8:53 and decided to go in. My food was sitting at the bar. Let me tell y'all how much I enjoyed my meal!! So the lamb chops are to die for! They were cooked to perfection and super flavorful. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the spinach topped it off. If you are a fan of Brussel sprouts then they theirs. They were crispy and the honey butter style sauce took it to another level. Now my friend had the parm crusted chicken and all I kept hearing was mmm, so I knew that she was very pleased. So apparently I have been missing out on the greatness at LongHorn! My party of 3 arrived Arlington 11:00 a.m on a Sunday. Which is probably the best time if you're looking for somewhere to dine right after church. It gets pretty crowded pretty fast. We were served by the bartender who was very nice and got our food to us right on time. If you're looking for a delicious meal I recommend the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. So good! Once I find a meal that I like, I tend to stick to it. So trying this, I was very pleased. The drinks are ok but if you get the long pour of any kind (except the wine) ask them not to fill your shaker with I ice. read more

Thank you for your time to review this. Today was my last time at the Collierville TN LongHorn Steakhouse. The last 4 times I've been there. Service has been way less than subpar. Todays example. More than half the tables were empty. 25-30 minute wait. So we asked to sit at the bar to eat. Ordered our meal. 1 hour later. Drinks empty, no food delivered and as much as we tried to be understanding and nice.... No one even apologized for the delay. Bartender or the Certified Trainer I spoke with. Right as we were ready to get up and leave...: the bartender said our food is up and she would bring it right out. 10 minutes later no food. I cancelled my order with her. The others (3 of them) in my group just finally left 15 minutes after I did. With no food. This is a very common experience at this location I understand the labor difficulties. I retired from my job because I was tired of managing people that did not want to work. My best suggestion is. Make changes immediately and let the public know or shut this location down and let someone take over this location with another venue. I am sorry to even feel like I must write this.
