Let's start with the menu! Some items shown on Yelp are only a part of their Saturday brunch menu. From the start, I was almost immediately disappointed because the items I really wanted were not available on Tuesday afternoon when I came for brunch/lunch. Atmosphere: solid. It was bustling and inviting upon walking up. The hostess was all into her phone but when we stepped in front of her, she was friendly and acknowledged us. *I have a coworker that says she is perpetually mean that this host reminded me of. Nice lady, just not kind or attentive* Once seated, our server was a sweet gal that likely wasn't a veteran but had heart! She knew the menu but had a way about her that seemed genuine and green. I shared my desire for the breakfast items I saw and she mentioned that it was on their brunch menu for Saturdays. There's nothing she can do about it but her response let me know that I wasn't the only one to experience this. The food was yummy! I had the bowl and my partner had the salmon. My crispy chicken bowl (slightly wrong name) was SPICY and I typically love hot/spicy food. While the salmon looked SO GOOD, it lacked a flavor that was only found when coupled with the maple glaze. It left a lot to be desired if you are a person that likes to eat your items separately. The bill was nominal and I appreciate our server making our mixed virgin drinks! Cran-orange and Orange-sprite! Please give this place a try but understand that the brunch/breakfast items are only available on the weekend.

The staff is friendly, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. I've had several meals here and I have yet to be disappointed. The blacked catfish is amazing, so are the grouper and chicken sandwiches. Will be back again. If you haven't tried them yet, do so!

Really well done extension of the East and South Main locations. The inside is brighter, spacious, with a contemporary interior. The patio, shared with the pizza joint next door, is brightly lit (again), concrete courtyard aesthetic- not necessarily cozy, but utilitarian. Service was very good. Knowledgable about the menu, accommodating for requests, efficient and expeditious when needed. The food was good for what it is: not too heavy, not too complex- straightforward. Don't expect more than what is offered- good for folks who aren't quite as adventurous as I am (massive points awarded in my book for novelty, but none really given here). From a prep standpoint, what does require mention is how incredibly my well they fry everything: chicken, grouper, egg roll, and most markedly, the fries (I suspect because of the tallow). Crispy, light, not greasy. Great nice weather option. I suspect this strip across the tracks (just) is going to be a new destination for East county eats once the other bays open.

The food was great. Both the shawarma bowl and enchilada bowl were very good and flavorful. We also enjoyed the turkey burger. My boyfriend's father didn't much enjoy the sweet tea brined fried chicken sandwich but everything else was amazing! Service was great and inside area is so cute!! They also have a great patio area to enjoy on a nice day and the waitress told us they have live music on Monday and Wednesday evenings. We can't wait to go back. We love this lunch spot!

First time visiting and it was pretty good. There was a lot different fusion combinations like Chinese, Mexican, and American. Weird concept to me, but was good. The staff was nice and the interior was well executed. It's very welcoming environment. The served a seasoned popcorn and it was some interesting seasoning. If made me sneeze and eyes water from how much was on it. Overall, it was good experience.

Ok atmosphere, but the service was outstanding. I love the touch of popcorn on the table . I had the 345 salad topped with blackened catfish & it was truly delicious. We actually came so my husband could try the well lauded duck patty melt, only to find that is off the menu, so he had the Schwarma bowl instead. He said it was very tasty. I have a feeling I would not care for the atmosphere at night, but I'd definitely return for lunch.

I love SOB We always sit at the bar with Carlos. He is my favorite bartender in town. I'm new to the area and find myself at SOB once a week at least. The menu is extensive and has some really amazing items. Favorites include Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls as an appetizer and Duck Fried Rice. Entree favs are Zaka bowl with shrimp and the Buffalo chicken sandwich! Sit with Carlos at the bar and he will make you a fabulous cocktail or use his expertise on wine selection! I'll be back again and again You'll probably see me there!

Grouper sandwich sub salad. Not very good

Was a pretty good lunch and better than other meals I've had at other locations. The general Z cauliflower was the best thing and I would order again for sure. The Philly eggrolls were ehh. Not worth the calories to me. The burger was ok. The grouper sandwich had no flavor and was a letdown. Desert was by far the best part of the meal. I would go back just for desserts. Very good!

Duck patty melt- no mushrooms. Served with fries.

Went to SOB last night for a birthday celebration. Great location! Ram was our server and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and fantastic! After we ordered the Philly egg rolls, we asked him what he suggested, and he recommended we add the general Tso's cauliflower to split. Great decision! We were fighting over the last pieces! Both appetizers were unique and flavorful! For dinner, several members of my group got the SOB burger and LOVED it. I tried a bite and have to admit that I was surprised at how tasty it was. I got the duck patty melt, and while it was great, I felt like it was missing a sauce or something. To be fair- it usually comes with mushrooms on it that I can't eat, so that might be the missing flavor it needed. Fries were hot and delicious! For dessert, we got a jack and coke bread pudding that hit the spot! Great place to go and grab some good food or a cocktail. It was a little loud when we first got there but did get quieter as the night went on. Be prepared for some noise around you.

My husband and I decided to visit after securing an available reservation on Opentable. We were seated in the bar area, which was fine. The bar area was pretty lively that night and there was a game on. I ordered the Bourbon smash drink which was soooo good! I enjoyed it so much that I made note of the recipe so that I could make my own version at home. The bread that we started out with was very good! I ordered the petit filet and my husband ordered the Norwegian Salmon. My steak was cooked as requested, but the flavor was just okay. The Brussels sprouts, however were excellent! My husband's salmon was a nice portion and was greater than 4oz, which he truly appreciated. He confirmed that the flavor was great too. Overall, great dinner, great drinks along with a friendly and prompt server which made this a great night out. Rating 5 stars because of the amazing meals I've had here over the years. I highly recommend!

If not a local,…read morehow many more looking for a twist on your American grill/steakhouse, might try you on for size? Owner's Yelp About Business info doesn't clue you in either that the Grille has Greek roots and menu influence. By digging to see the names Taras, Dimitri, and (Jim) Katsoutes, the original owner of Jim's downtown 1921 would you guess, and as a 3rd gen family business they obviously have a following. And after that buildup, just not us, albeit that we all ordered fish. With ribs in town, limiting the week's caloric uptake was a check for the ticker ;) Shrimp cocktail $21 comes with 1/2 doz long & large, grilled with a steak like pepper seasoning, ie Grecian, served warm in cold cocktail sauce edged by bibb lettuce that looks great in a stainless cocktail stem, but no one was eating haha. 3.75/5* but my BIL who is a local, person always gets. For him it's a 5. Greek Salad $24 with salmon aok but again BIL loves this place. Norwegian Salmon entree $27 was overcooked, ordered rare and blackened, and not spicy at all. Entree comes with 2 sides; hubby chose a side salad which was just blah spring greens, tomato, cuke and croutons, but a cloyingly sweet balsamic dressing didn't help either despite 3 lemon wedges. Better option would be if they offeres a Greek side salad. Mash, the other side was fine. 3.5/5* Halibut fresh catch of day $37 is about 6-7oz asked for chargrilled, it was more delicate like cod, lacking the flakey firmness and oilier flavor or halibut. Select your sauce: a Mediterranean-- feta roma red onion, but a light hollandaise? & bacon??..is that a TN thing to add bacon to everything lol. Or the Creole with Parmesan, again why add Cheese/fat to a sauce that should be perfect without? the Lemon Garlic is butter based so whileI hoped for 2 great sauces, I steered to a heart healthier olive oil & oregano blend on the side. But it was just kinda oily without fruitiness or burny polyphenols of EVOO; the Lemon wedge was best. Turnip Greens cooked with ham hock, was not noticeable--fine by me, cooked down to texture of canned spinach and not at all bitter. Liked this the best, shockingly lol. Really wanted to try the Grecian rice but it's cooked in yes, butter, that fat suck again sigh, with Chix broth topped with a tomato Greek spice. So stuck to a plain Baked Idaho tater dressed down skinny sans bacon n cheese. 3.5/5* Good pour of Sazerac Rye in Old Fashioned. Full glass of little rocks suck though vs the signature big block ice for pro's, that waters it too quickly and visually no comparison. 3/5* $14.42 ok, but sticker shock another $4.20 additional Liquor Tax for 2 drinks, damn. I am sure the full duty Hickory n Oak grilled Lamb Chops & steaks are great but nearing $60 I'd choose elsewhere based on our fish dishes, while edible were not worthy of the billing and nothing we'd crave, ditto for the sides. Too bad because the true Greek influence has been buttered, cheesed, and baconed out. Dining Room is busy and energetic which is always good, lots of waitstaff, moody medium and dark brown decor, quite inviting. Jason did a great job on our table, but the proof, not in this pudding today. Thanks anyway, now moving onto those Ribs, Charlie Vergos :D

After waiting about 30 minutes, our food finally arrived and it was completely unacceptable. Everything was cold, greasy, and nothing about it resembled authentic Cajun cuisine. The crawfish tails were clearly microwaved and served on a bland bed of rice. The children's mac and cheese was especially bad--dry, unappetizing, and obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. The staff is so welcoming & kind. You feel good being there with the lively atmosphere & great people all around & the delicious food puts it a step above the rest. On the weekday lunch visit, I saw moms & kids, families, business men/women, folks at the bar glued to the game & those sitting by theirselves with their newspaper as their companion.
