We had Jaime F as our server and she was friendly, attentive and never rushed us. Started with a few libations and an order of cheesy mushrooms (yummy). Not my first visit to LongHorn, and not my favorite visit. LongHorn should be a steady. I'm not expecting the world's best food, or service, but it should be better than a Fridays or a Chili's and this time it wasn't. We ordered a new appetizer, the firecracker chicken wraps, and aallmmoosstt sent them back, but the service was slow so we decided not to. These chicken wraps would have been too expensive at $8, so the $14 we paid was too much. The mush inside of them was no better then a frozen taquito, not to say that I don't appreciate a taquito, but I wouldn't pay $14 for 8 of them at a restaurant. Really underwhelming. I ordered chicken tenders....I know, I know, at a steak place! But it's what I wanted. They were super crispy and moist. The baked potato was legit too. I ordered a salad as my second side, but didn't get it until halfway through my meal. Again, not the worst thing that could ever happen, everyone survived, but I expect that level of service at Fridays. That's all. Im sure we will go back. Placed a take out order...food was 30 minutes late...steaks were cold, salads were old...disappointing.

My wife and I visited a couple of weeks ago. We wanted to go someplace quick and easy for my birthday dinner. LongHorn is only a few minutes away, so it was a clear choice. We arrived, promptly greeted by three hosts, and immediately taken to a table. Shortly after our server came by and introduced themselves and grabbed our drink orders. We inquired about happy hour and were told it is referred to as all-day value items or something. We decided to pass after looking at this list and what it included. We found it disappointing the only two beer options on the list were Miller Lite and Bud Light. We proceeded to order an appetizer, Firecracker Chicken Wraps, as well as our entrees. For my entree, I ordered the Ribeye with a Loaded Baked Potato and Broccoli. Now, I guess I just rolled with the server, but I thought steaks came with a salad. Writing this review I am looking it up and they come with one side and a salad or you can choose to skip the salad for a second side. So maybe I should have spoken up or said something, but when I ordered the steak I was asked what two sides and wanted. It was not the end of the world, but it might be something worth mentioning to the guests. So the Firecracker Chicken Wraps arrive, and we dive in. They were good, but I don't think they should be one of the higher-priced appetizers. We both commented on how they were very similar to some frozen taquitos you'd buy at the store and heat up. Again they were good, but nothing special. We were both disappointed in ourselves for not ordering the Tonion, which is always a hit. My steak arrived and it looked so appetizing, with a beautiful sear. I cut into it and the temperature was exactly the way I ordered it. That first bite hit so perfectly. The loaded baked potato was loaded with all the delicious fixings. And the broccoli was steamed broccoli, which was expected. The service was good, the server often checked on us and kept our drinks full. The atmosphere is standard for a LongHorn. We had signed up earlier in the day for eClub, which gives you a free appetizer upon sign-up. Like many restaurants are now offering, LongHorn has a QR code at the table that allows you to pay your bill when you are ready. They even have it set up where it allows you to add a coupon code, and it actually works! We had a great dinner and would come back. While we never mentioned to the server it was my birthday, I was happy to celebrate my birthday with LongHorn. read more

I was quite pleased. It's been a while since I've ordered steak at a restaurant. I find it easy to make a really good steak at home which makes it hard to pay the prices for a steak eating out. But when you're on a business trip and you just want a steak you don't have a lot of choices. I'm glad I did, I was really surprised. My steak was cooked to perfection, flavor was amazing. I really liked the seasoning they use here. My baked potato was perfect. I also got the house salad with ranch, it was so yummy. I'd come back just for the salad . Their bread with butter was really yummy too. I didn't realize we would get more so I was trying to ration it. Then our waitress just kept bringing it out to us! Yummy bread makes me happy. Our waitress was amazing, very attentive and polite. I unfortunately can't remember her name which is no fault of her own. She was definitely memorable, I'm just terrible with names. We went on a Monday night, it was pretty quiet. We were seated right away, there were other people there but it wasn't crazy busy and wasn't too loud. The pacing of grabbing a drink at the bar, being sat, getting an app, then my entree was divine. I went to the bathroom and everything came out on time and at a lovely pace. Antonio & Tito were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure my group dining experience was none other especially when we had two children with our group. Located near Champion's Gate this is a newer Longhorn location. They have plenty of parking and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. The server was very nice and welcoming. I had the lunch combo of a salad and chowder, which was very good! The shrimp and lobster chowder is a definite must try if you like a good soup. It got busier around noon with more people trickling in but overall it's definitely not as busy as other locations yet as it's a little bit off the main pathway to Champion's Gate. The server did forget to bring our onion petals but was very quick to apologize and even took it off the bill without us asking for that, very thoughtful. We had an incredibly disappointing and embarrassing experience at this restaurant, and unfortunately, it completely ruined what was supposed to be a special anniversary dinner. Our servers were Sydney and Lee. While Lee was polite and professional throughout the night, Sydney was the root of the problem. As soon as we were seated, Sydney asked how we wanted to split the checks. We asked for a moment to discuss it among ourselves since, as part of our family tradition, the family usually pays for the anniversary couple. Apparently, that was too much for her. She abruptly left the table, and we could see her at the waiters' podium visibly pointing at us, rolling her eyes, and speaking to other staff in a demeaning manner. It was incredibly disrespectful and set the tone for the rest of the night. Our drink orders were never taken until we had to ask for someone to come back. When the food finally arrived, all three steaks at our table were severely overcooked--ordered medium rare, but they came out well done, dry, chewy, and cold to the touch. One member of our party decided not to reorder and preferred to sit it out. We calmly let Lee know. Later, Sydney returned and said they had put the steak back on the grill, even though we had clearly said we no longer wanted it. Not long after, the manager, Ryan, came out and accused our party of using foul language and being disrespectful to the staff--completely false. No one at our table had raised their voice or said anything inappropriate. From the very beginning, we felt unwelcome and judged by Sydney's behavior, and this accusation from the manager was the final straw. The situation escalated unnecessarily because of how poorly Ryan handled it. A more professional and neutral approach could have resolved the issue calmly. Instead, we were humiliated in front of the entire restaurant. This was supposed to be a joyful night, and it turned into a frustrating and disheartening experience. The staff, especially Sydney and Ryan, need serious training in customer service and professionalism. And judging by the state of the food, the kitchen could benefit from using a meat thermometer. We do not recommend this location and will not be returning. read more

Traveling from Tampa to Orlando and the traffic was impressive. We decided to take a break and have some lunch. The Long Horn at this exit is a perfect easy off and easy on. It's a new restaurant so restaurant seems nice and clean. Parking was easy in the big lot. My husband and I sat at the bar to get quicker service. Bartender was very attentive and when we said we were going to split a burger she had the kitchen split the fry order too and put halves on separate plates. You know, places like this get a bad rap. Mega foodies out there wouldn't be caught dead at a chain steakhouse. I personally try to avoid chains, but only because I would rather purposefully support small business instead. That being said, I had some grandparents in town, and they love chains, so we came here for dinner one night. And you know what? It was really really delicious. I didn't take any pics, because I don't like doing that in front of grandparents, but I'm pretty sure we all know what LongHorns and their food looks like. So anyway, I had what I always have at places like this, the The LongHorn Porterhouse (Got the biggest steak in the game wearing our name! Our 22 oz porterhouse combines a bone-in strip and a tender filet into one thick cut). Cooked medium rare, of course. With sides of mashed potatoes and fries. And the steak was pretty dang good! The menu didn't delineate where the cow came from, and the steak had not been aged, but jeez, it was cooked well, it was seasoned well, the seared crust was good. I liked it a lot. I try to get my potato sides mixed in with bites of the steak pretty frequently, and they were both just fine, too. Fries and mash, pretty easy to make. The service here was friendly, professional and attentive. The steaks are good and for my sides, I usually go with the loaded baked potato. My go-to for steak is a porterhouse or a ribeye. Longhorn Steakhouse has been around for awhile. It began with a single location in Atlanta, Georgia back in 1981 and has grown to over five hundred locations. They obviously are doing something right to have lasted for over forty years and have grown to over five hundred locations. That's a lot of locations selling a lot of steaks for this restaurant chain, which is currently owned by Darden Restaurants. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Longhorn Steakhouse and if you find yourself in the area and craving an affordable steak, head on over. read more
