I asked for plain fettuccine Alfredo, and they were more than happy to customize it for me and even added broccoli upon my request. The rest of our group enjoyed the Bolognese, lasagna, and spaghetti with meatballs. We also ordered the focaccia tower, which comes with a side of homemade alfredo sauce. The house salad was very good and the balsamic dressing was tasty! The best part was the fresh shaved Parmesan on top. Also, all of their sauces are made in-house, and it's locally owned. Two there is no where covered to wait for a table (inside is too small; outside has 0 protection from the elements). You have one of the nicest restaurants in Lakeland; however there is no excuse for treating customers this way. Chunks of unseasoned tomatoes, fresh unseasoned spinach and mozzarella cheese-that's it. No seasoning of any kind, outside of the charred taste that all the items had from the oven itself. The sauce had a sweetness to it and this also was just...a far cry from what I'm used to. He said his pizza was cooked well, but lacked flavor. They're in business a long time, so something is going right. However, for me, it missed the mark on all levels. When someone finally did, they apologized and explained there had been a miscommunication among the staff. I appreciated the apology, but the issues didn't end there -- our salad never made it to the table. Instead, it was packed up at the end of the meal and handed to us to take home, which isn't quite the same as enjoying it with dinner. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing, but a restaurant is more than just food. With so many other great restaurants in the Winter Garden area, I won't be coming back.
