One time I came and my food was super cold. The manager came over and they took the plates. I can tell it was just warmed up. Didn't really do anything for me and I would've liked my food fresh. This was our first time at this location, and it was pleasant. Tanya P was our waitress, and she was pleasant and knowledgeable. We had ordered soft beverages and an appetizer when we arrived. Then we ordered our lunch. I had well done salmon and broccoli. My husband ordered The Longhorn steak with Caesar salad. My salmon had to be cooked well done, or I can't eat it. So, I had to send it back to make sure the texture of the fish was done correctly. But besides that, the food was seasoned well, and delicious. We had alot of food, so we took food home. We were told we had a 60 minute wait. 60 minutes turned into over 2 hours. We had family that had just came into town, so we chose to stay. The host seemed to be the busboy too. He was very friendly and was working hard to clear tables. This took a while. They also stopped accepting people in around 9pm. They appeared to be short staffed. We weren't seated until 10:30pm. Seeing as they closed at 11pm. Everything came out fast and fresh as they were trying to close up. We had two servers who were both great. I ordered onion petals and shrimp for the table. They both came out fresh and hot. We enjoyed them both. For my entrée, I had the chopped steak, salad, and baked potato. Everything was really good. They were working quickly to serve us. Let's just say this longhorn in Morrow on June 14, 2025, was horrible and a nightmare at the same time. Why it was horrible is the question, but the answer is because on this evening the restaurant was tired of the staff and the staff was tired of the kitchen and management was tired of being a host, a manager, and a cook. We were there from 6:30 pm until 10:54 pm. Everything in the salad was wrong and missing ingredients. Next, I exchanged it for mac and cheese and grilled corn but they forgot the crema and he had to bring it out separately which means wait some more. Next, the entrée comes out and it looks edible but it wasn't because the salmon was overcooked and salty. My husband and I ask for the same entrée. We are now asking for the manager. It takes him forever to get to our table, so we could tell him what's wrong and why we still are not happy about our food he then tells us he would get our food right and he didn't. By this time, they were remaking the food and we both were upset and ready to go. We got our food and decided to ask for to-go trays and the receipt. We are still asking for him and no one could not find him. The staff kept saying he's coming and not coming. We know why because he was sitting at the bar eating and talking. My husband then went up to him and asked him why he didn't come back to the table to resolve our issue instead of giving us 21% off the food. We wanted to enjoy the same entrée that we always get. Remember this was the day before an not the day of, which highlights they are not going to be ready for the crowd the day of. My husband does not plan on going to anymore Longhorn and we usually eat at the McDonough location. I love eating at Longhorn but now I have to find another place for steaks and salmon. We were so upset about the food, I do plan on writing and blogging abt my experience because my experience was horrible and not asked for. This location is my last resort and mainly for convenience. I prefer the location in McDonough. This location in Morrow is never consistent either with food or service. Sitting at the bar is the worst. When they get busy, the bartender (can't remember his name) seems to get overwhelmed and forgets his manners. I sat at the bar for a few and after he still didn't acknowledge me, I got his attention. He then waved his hand at me and told me I had to give him a minute. I hadn't received a menu, water or had the plates from the previous person cleared from my spot. I watched him rudely dismiss and tell other people to wait after me as well. The food is never the same. My steak was seasoned okay but it was overcooked. My broccoli, which was cut smaller and cooked in butter on a previous visit was now in big florets that were still crunchy with no seasoning. They also gave a smaller portion of mashed potatoes. We attempted to order drinks and food from our very rude waiter. In the middle of ordering my food after not receiving any beverages I was cut off and the waiter dismissed himself from our table. The absolute only issue with this restaurant is its smell. The smell will force you to turn around before you even experience the amazing customer service and food. I didn't read any reviews before arriving at the restaurant. Last second decision, and I haven't been to a Longhorns in years. I noticed the dirty mop bucket water smell on entry, but they prominently place the food score, which was 98, so we said we will give it a try. Seating was quick, service was great, and the food was delicious. The seating needs a better layout and the restroom area was cluttered with restaurant extras (chairs, cleaning supplies, boxes, etc.) not clear. They also had a party of over 20 running down the center of the restaurant which made it difficult for other guests to pass our 2 top booth. For me having everyone brush my the table and apologize (very kind) but annoying and that is a score dropper. We were done eating and just chatting, but still too congested. I would return but really encourage a deep clean and something to address the smell and clutter. read more

I was so hungry and the service took at least 20 minutes to bring my drinks to the table, and even longer for bread to be brought to the table. When the server would come to the table he would ask us how we were doing, but didn't stay long enough to hear our requests for drink refills, and more bread.
