We've been coming for years. We know not to come on a Friday or Saturday night. If you keep this in mind, you should have a great dining experience. The only thing we make sure now is to not sit at the bar in one of the booths. They forget about their tables when you're in that area, they never come back and see if you need anything else other than to bring the check. We ordered an appetizer of the Wild West Shrimp. I thought it was greasy. My mom really enjoyed it, though. I ordered the Outlaw ribeye. It was cooked right and the seasoning was delicious. Mom ordered a filet mignon 6 oz. It looked like 3 oz compared to my wife's 8 oz sirloin. She complained and sent it back to the kitchen. My wife enjoyed her sirloin with no complaints. However kitchen staff is horrible on my ticket was 2 Parmesan crusted chicken, chicken tenders. sweet tea, Dr Pepper, and a sprite. The Parmesan crusted chicken was dry seemed old on both plates. Loaded mashed potatoes were cold, asparagus was cold. Chicken tenders were cooked perfectly and so were fries. The Parmesan chicken was not appealing or any good. Was sent back. Absolutely the worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. First, I sat for about 15 minutes before I was asked about my drink order. Then when I did order I didn't get my salad that I asked for. At the end when they did the check the only selected $1.99 because I didn't get my premium salad. However, I didn't get two sides either. No one asked how my steak was cooked (it was over-cooked). We went there to celebrate our neighbors birthday. We all had steak but we couldn't order baked potatoes. The manager had committed them to the Georgia National Fair that was going on this week here in Perry, GA. Our waitress said we would have to wait an additional 35 minutes for the next batch of baked potatoes to be ready. I call that a bad foul on management. For a business to get customers to return they have to think of paying customers first. The steaks were good. The French fries they can keep. None of us cared for the soggy fries. Management's decision to let customers miss out on baked potatoes. He did apologize but didn't offer any compensation for his very bad business model decision. Worst meal ever. Our food came out cold. Sent back and then steak overcooked as they just heated it up which lead to being overcooked. After waiting 40 minutes to be seated, then get cold food. I ordered a Ribeye that had no grill marks, looked like it had been baked and not even been on the grill. It was cold. After remaking my husband's meal, mine was still wrong. I don't normally write reviews but when you spend almost $60 on an order then it needs to be right. My husband and I ordered 2 well done burgers along with a few other items. Now I know the remarks that come From the kitchen when they hear well done. But I don't eat medium burgers from restaurants. Our thought was that if Mc Donalds and Five Guys can get it right then surely a chef From a Steakhouse can do better or equal. We were wrong, the burger was burnt. Not a juice left inside the burger. We could taste the metal from the grill, that's how long it stayed on the grill. Very disappointing. Please train your chefs to cook a simple burger. When a customer say's well done they mean cooked to a safe temperature, no blood, and definitely not burnt! read more

We choose the Longhorns in Perry Ga tonight for dinner, we decided on take out. Excellent service all ways around. The server said 30- 35 minutes, and our food was out in 30 minutes. We live fairly close, so by the time we got home our food was still nice and hot. Nothing was missing in our order, props for that. We ordered 3 meals at almost 70.00 dollars not including tipping our server. We all had steaks that had so much gristle that it was nearly impossible to eat. I threw 3/4 of mine in the trash. I wandered into Perry, GA on the coattails of the Peach Blossom Dog Show Cluster as a dog show vendor. I'm from west of Philadelphia, PA but had been on the west coast of Florida for the last few weeks (which is the north moved south). Anyway, the staff at the bar for the three days I walked over from the Hampton were nothing short of top notch. Even on Sunday, where the you-know-what hit the fan with staffing, the staff was bright and happy and REMEMBERED Sunday was my birthday -- spent alone due to work. The only reason this isn't 5* is because 2/3 of the meals were on par. But the salmon was overcooked beyond the flakiness I was promised in the description. Actually, the salmon was crunchy. But I digress. It's a steakhouse. The filet and the chicken I had around that salmon meal was perfect. The convenience to Hampton and the friendless of the staff is why I sat at the bar three nights in a row. The staff makes the place and I hope the management recognizes them accordingly. read more

Pork chops dry and very over cooked. Crab/lobster chowder was a very small bowl and mostly potatoes. My baby back ribs were room temp at best. Our waitress while nice kept pulling a disappearing act so we sat there for at least 10 minutes after we signaled we were done before she appeared. My husband never did get extra butter for his potato so he finally has to use the bread butter. Not a really great experience especially for the price. Stale bread, cold watery soup, brown lettuce in the salad, VERY disappointed. I love Longhorn but this location fell short today. When we told the waitress the issue with the soup she was confused and said she could heat it and give it to me in a to go container. I really wanted a nice lunch out of the car during my 8 hour trip! After the waitress saw me filling out the survey on my phone regarding my experience she removed the charge for my soup from the bill. No manager ever bothered to speak with us. At my local Longhorn a manager visits your table during every meal, what a difference the manager in each location makes. :-( read more
