We were celebrating a birthday and decided to go to LongHorn. We weren't expecting much, but a long wait and okay service. We were pleasantly surprised! We were told it may be about 45 mins to wait for a table. We were seated within 20 mins! Our server, Jenn was amazing. She was very nice, fast and efficient. Our drinks arrived promptly to the table and appetizers ordered and also arrived very fast. We didn't feel rushed at all, it was a nice pace. The food was great, not something we expected for a busy night serving lots of food. Overall, we would definitely recommend this location of LongHorn and see if Jenn can be your server! Out of my last four visits, I've sent three ribeye back because they were overcooked. At today's prices there's no reason for a kitchen to be that sloppy, or for management not to resolve the issues. The floor service is terrific, but they can't help what the kitchen plates. read more

I often visit LongHorn Steakhouse, but this was my first time there. The food was very good. Our waiter Chris was amazing.

I always like longhorn. You know what your going to get when you go to one. This location has great service and friendly staff. Their takeout is efficient and their measures seem on par with Covid. I see the servers wipe down the tables, everyone wears masks and they make efforts to space everyone. What is great is that they don't seem to sacrifice how fast service is with keeping everything clean. They have also expanded the pickup/curbside parking which is great for the week days when people want to pickup dinner. I would say I will continue to go here because the food and service is great and you know what to expect. read more

I will never go to this locations again! Worst customer service! We were waiting for our table as well as waiting for a space at the bar to open up. As we were going to sit at the bar a man which I will call "Brown" decided to swoop in and take our seat. Claiming he was waiting before us but not true as I saw him walk in. I confronted him which he told me shut up. Management behind the bar didn't say anything but fist bump him. Sorry guys I'm easy to please when we talk burgers & steak especially when it's this spot! I enjooy a mid priced steak and a few beers. My usual is the Renegade 8oz but today I'm feeling like a burger so today I choose their mushroom Swiss burger w added bacon on a potato roll and a lobster shrimp chowder for my side. so delicious the chowder came out just after my bread and it was the perfect temperature as it was tasty. Bits of lobster and shrimp throughout. My lunch companion ordered a 1/3 cheeseburger burger combo w/French onion soup. The plate arrived complete w/side of small side of homemade chips..Now the food was good our server Lindsey M. is more of a acceptable 3-stars she took orders and delivered our food & checks. She was too much on conversation or friendly buut that's okay for this visit I brought my own friend lol So only thing that made my experience less was out server and the consistent rushing us as we tried to eat. I am hopeful that my rating will increase and maybe it's not fair to score 2 stars but I was expecting more on day 3. First off it was a 30 to 35 minute wait and probably 20 empty tables so I assume they were short staffed. Found a spot at the bar but waited almost 30 minutes for a drink. Lots of apologies but again don't open until you have everyone trained and the place is staffed. Seemed like people were working on top of each other without an effective flow. The food was just ok and not like I've had before at Long Horn. It may be awhile before I try them again. Hopefully the manager will recognize how to be more effective and efficient so that this business will grow and become a local favorite. read more

Sat at the bar, Mothers Day evening. Service was excellent, food too! My complaint is the ladies who came late, didn't want to wait and ordered an appetizer and water. There was 1 barstool open, against the kitchen wall. The ladies were sooooo rude, literally almost sitting on my husbands lap to squeeze in and share the appetizer before their table was ready. They acted entitled, tried to leave the bar area without paying and were pretty inconsiderate to even the bartender. Pretty offensive to us trying to squish in, pushing on him. Had dinner here with an old coworker and it was great. Although we couldn't make reservations the wait was very short for a Saturday (we went around 5pm). The service was good and food was great. We had a mango margarita and it was delicious. I had the salmon with Cesar salad, steakhouse Mac & cheese and sweet potato. Everything was good. We were seated and served our drinks quickly. We had the stuffed mushrooms appetizer. Large and hot . Tasted great. Two of us had ribeyes and one a sirloin steak. All steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare. None of the steaks were tough, all nice and tender.the bread was nice and fresh. I had fries the others baked potatoes. Those too cooked perfectly. My food and experience was A+. I went during lunch time and ordered the chicken/ strawberry lunch salad with a side of broccoli steamed twice and the shrimp appetizer. This is my first time ordering food from LongHorn Steakhouse and I must say I was very happy. They text you when your order was ready for pick up. Love the set up for curbside pickup. They had a little issue with the pick up app but it gave you a number to call to let them know you were outside. They were on point with the order. Every thing was accurate and prepared just the way we ordered it. The food was nice and hot. The quality and quantity of the food was great. I definitely will be ordering from them again. Disappointment with this restaurant house was very rude and as I was sitting here for 15 minute wait I overheard House and servers talking about guests and how sloppy eaters they were and other rude comments. I ordered a burger medium well online. The suggestion popped back that medium was better but I still chose medium well. When I cut the burger, the inside was pink and uncooked. Parts looked raw. I ordered a chicken sandwich that was overly salty. It tasted terrible. The French onion soup was the same. Way too much salt. The cheese was not melted. It was coagulated at the top. A friend and I were wantIng to hhave dinner close to home so I suggested the new Long Horns. We found paarking Ro isn't away however the place was pretty packed... we expeccred that for a new place though. We put our namE on the list and she said it was gonna be about a 45 min wait.... not a problem. Two spots came open at the bar so opted for the bar. The bartender was super busy so of course we were patient. I ordered a mint julep and she ordersd a beer. The mint julep was pretty much a bunch of crushed ice. The flavor was ok however I won't order a mint julep from there again. The bar is EXTREMELY SMALL which I find to be odd considering Riverview is such a growing area. For food I ordered the hot chili chicken nuggets & the Mac & cheese. The nuggets were amazing! A totally order again... the Mac.... eh not so much. Went for the first time to the Riverview location. My service was excellent and my NY strip was cooked to perfection. The salad fresh and the bread was delicious. I went for lunch so it wasn't too crowed. My hostess was polite and informative. I thought I'd try something different this time, I ordered the Cowboy Porkchop. I was not a 'real' porkchop, but rather like a pressed tother piece of meat. Maybe it was the preparation, or something else - I don't know. It was just mediocre, at best. I can, and have, prepared mediocre chops at home. I ordered the Renegade steak and shrimp combo for curb-side pick up. Wait time was good. The server was attentive. But when I reached my home, I sat down to eat my food. I took a bite of steak followed by rice. At that point I felt what I thought was metal at the time but was actually a quarter size piece of glass in my mouth. I spit it out in surprise not realizing it was actually glass. It cut the roof of my mouth and had me bleeding a little. I returned the order to the restaurant and went to the near urgent care hospital. Where I spent the next 3 hours of my Sunday night to make sure I didn't swallow any shards of glass. Wow just wow! We attempt to call ahead and when we call Kenya answered the phone when we said we wanted to call ahead she hung up on us. So mistakes happen, right? We call back Kenya answers again and believe it or not she hangs up again. I'm thinking no way that just happened. We call a 3rd time and yes she did it again. So we call back a 4th time and instead of asking for call ahead I ask for the manager. She transfers to the manager and I ask if I could just please get on the call ahead list. So Natasha says she put me on the list I told her we would be there within 30 minutes. We walk in and Kenya greets us. We tell her we have a call ahead. Her response "I ain't got no call aheads". So then I ask her if a certain person was working that we prefer. Her response "I don't know". I know good help is hard to find but come on! Absolute worst hostess on the planet! Why do you employ this person? If we hadn't been coming here since it opened and know quite a bit of the staff I would definitely never come back! Just think if it was your first time here. We just left the most pleasant dining experience at Longhorn in Riverview. Our wait was shorter than quoted, our meal was delicious and our server Nellie was warm, engaging, friendly and funny. For starters we were a party of 3 and we all were craving steak. Instead of going to the usual Texas Roadhouse we decided to try the new Longhorn. The wait was roughly 20 minutes..so not bad. As we walked back to our table I immediately noticed how different the crowd was from Roadhouse. The patrons were quiet and there was no loud music, no line dancing employees, no walking over people to get in or out. It was nice. I ordered a flat iron steak. First time ever having a flat iron steak. When it came I immediately cut it and oh my word..that bite was heavenly. So tender, so juicy, so omg good. I ordered a bowl of french onion soup which was amazing. The waiter was a sweetheart and very kind. Why 3 stars? Because the prices are pretty outrageous. It was almost 93.00 for 3 people. I can go to Texas Roadhouse and their steaks are also very yummy and get a 6oz. Sirloin with 2 sides for $9.99. Glad we tried it. But it's nothing special really. Ive been here about 3 times since they opened this location. The first Time opening day) we tried mac & cheese and had a couple of drinks. The service was not great, but m not too bad. the The hour margarita tastes fine, but is wayy too small to be appreciated in any way (it needs more alcohol and a proportionate amt of mix). The mac & cheese is very good and consistent. The burger was not bad, the french onion soup-meh, and the steak sandwich was okay. The environment is nice once you get past the crowd. We only have 2 classic dine-in restaurants.(i don't count the bar and grill and specialty food places) so there's always gonna be a wait in this part of Southshore. Overall the food and experience is pretty good for this price point restaurant. read more
